How personally disappointed or frustrated are you with the president's decision to endorse Kenned today?

He is a very effective senator >> for the state of Texas >> and uh but I don't none of us control what the president does. He made his decision about that. That doesn't change the way I feel.

[00:02:19]Peter Shimmer, but you know how expensive Texas is. It cost hundreds of millions of dollars. Is the DSC and SMP willing to spend as much as it takes to win in Texas?

[00:02:29]>> Let me just say Ter Rico is talking to people about their real needs. Uh Paxton and Cornin, both of those people are talking about things that that Texans don't care about. And so we are going to win Texas and we are going to win Texas whether it's Cornin or Paxton.

[00:03:03]>> And they already uh showed yesterday with that Iran uh war powers vote that they just didn't show up. Uh several Republicans, Cornin included, um we're just not going to vote. And so that got through. The Democrats got that victory in the Senate yesterday. Ultimately, it's not going to mean anything even if it gets through the House because the president will just veto it. However, there could be things down the pike for the next 7 months. That could be interesting where he might need some people in the Senate that are close enough to Cornin and maybe Cassidy, although >> happy to see him gone. M >> uh it's going to be interesting to see because if you think the Senate hasn't done anything so far, it's probably going to get even worse for Trump.
