This video discusses the unprecedented UFC White House fight scheduled for June 14, 2024, organized by President-elect Donald Trump on the South Lawn as part of the 250th anniversary celebration of the United States. The event, featuring French fighter Cyril Ga and Brazilian Alex Pereira, sparked controversy when UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland was banned from attending due to his political criticisms of Trump and his relationship with Israel. The video explores how political figures use media spectacles to generate attention, the intersection of sports and politics, and the consequences of political speech in professional sports. The discussion also covers related incidents including a FedEx driver damaging equipment, a white man telling a black driver to 'drive like a white man,' and various other viral incidents, highlighting how media events can blur the lines between entertainment and political messaging.

>> The most audacious media spectacle in recent memory was hatched on the floor of Madison Square Garden less than two weeks after the 2024 presidential election.
On November 16th, 2024, President-elect Donald Trump walked into New York's most famous arena to loud applause from a friendly crowd as Kid Rock's American Badass played.
Trump was there for UFC 309. I JUST ALL RIGHT.
I can't I can't even do this no more.
>> Why not?
>> I can't even do I can't even exist in this reality anymore, man. I'm sorry.

>> He's looking at you disdainfully, TJ.
[laughter] >> You got a problem with me, TJ?
>> Trump was there for USC 309. WAS >> YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ME, TJ?
>> Was joined by Rock, Elon Musk, and incoming cabinet secretaries Robert F.
Kennedy Jr. in Tulsi Gabbard among other dignitaries.
>> You want to fight TJ?
>> Would you like to fight me?
>> But when he walked out, uh, he did so alongside Dana White, the CEO of UFC.
Amid the fights, Trump took a moment to make a suggestion to White, a longtime personal friend dating back to the early days of UFC.
He leaned over to me and says, "We should do a fight at the White House."
White recalls in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. I said, "Yes, we should." I didn't know what he meant. I was thinking maybe there's some room he's thinking about where we'd have it.
He's like, "No, we're going to do it outside on the south lawn."
Just think about this. Just Just think about this [ __ ] Donald Trump, president [ __ ] elect, all this [ __ ] right?
>> Yeah.
>> He's going to assume power.
>> Yeah.
>> What the [ __ ] this guy thinking about?
A UFC fight on the South [ __ ] lawn, dude.
>> Yeah.
>> This is everything you need to know about Donald Trump right here.
Not how he's going to run the country.
Not the changes he's going to make. Not all the [ __ ] Oh, here's all the [ __ ] I'm going to do. None of that. Dana, we got to have a fight in the South Lawn.
BIG FIGHT. Big fight. Dana, what do you say?
I think it would be great if you guys did a video commentary on the movie Hackers. I've never seen a movie that was so confidently wrong.
All right.

>> French UFC fighter Gain blocking out politics before White House bout.
French mixed martial artist Sirill Ga said he is blocking out the political noise ahead of the unprecedented fight at the White House in Washington. Gain will take on Brazilian Alex Pereira in a special June 14th bout organized in the White House on the day of the US President Donald Trump's 80th birthday as part of the 250th anniversary celebration for the founding of the United States of America.
>> Wow. Many people view the whole event as a political stunt, but Gain told AFP that he is ignoring the criticism and focusing on his bout, but he admits it will be a unique experience.
I, you know, as much like to say it's a political stunt, I don't honestly think it is. I think Donald Trump thought it'd be cool if there's a UFC fight in the South Lawn. I really believe it's as deep as it goes. I know people are going like, "No, it's a Donald Trump doesn't give a [ __ ] about this. What st does he even care about at this point? He's sinking his party for the midterms. He doesn't give a [ __ ] >> Donald Trump got in his [ __ ] little pea brain that there should be a fight on the south lawn and now it's going to happen cuz he literally knows this. He's buddies with the CEO of the UFC so of course he's'll make it happen. He's a big Trumpy.
>> What a nightmare.
>> I feel bad. I mean, yeah, the if the people fighting Yeah. It's like, you know, what can you do? They're having a fight in the White House. All right, I guess I'll kick his ass on the White House lawn. You could have a set of balls and refuse to [ __ ] go through with the fight in protest of Trump's [ __ ] [ __ ] I guess you could, but >> wouldn't be advisable for your career.
>> Oh, your career is dead then.
>> Sean Strickland claims he was banned from attending UFC White House card.
Um, it doesn't appear Sean Strickland is going to be front and center for the UFC White House card on June 14th. The always outspoken UFC middleweight champion took to social media to reveal he's been banned from the event while claiming it all stems from his criticisms aimed at uh President Donald Trump and his long-standing relationship with Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. While UFC officials have been adamant that only so many seats are going to be made available for the event, there were no ticket sales and fans aren't allowed to attend.
Strickland apparently planned on going, but that's no longer happening. UFC at the White House with Benjamin Netanyahu in the audience. Straight slop.
Strickland wrote on Instagram. To be fair, they did ban me, but when you make fun of the leaders of America, they tend to be a little bit petty. By leaders, I mean Israel.
>> Oh, yeah. [laughter] Yeah. There's no He was definitely banned.
>> Strickland has been rather vocal in his opposition to the ongoing conflict in Iran after he openly supported Trump's re-election in 2024. But now he says his words have come back to haunt him, at least regarding Strickland potentially attending what is expected to go down as the biggest USC event of the year. The only male American champ banned at the White House because I said Trump is owned by Benjamin Netanyahu. That's not public opinion. It's fact.
It's public fact. When asked for specifics on what he said he earned, what he said earned him the band, Strickland added, "I made fun of Israel and Jeffrey Epste." Strickland later issued a longer video in response to his claims that the UFC is not allowing him to attend the event, and he didn't back down from his criticisms aimed at Trump, the war in Iran, or Israel. "I'm not really surprised," Strickland said about his ban. "Apparently, I'm not American enough to go to Freedom 250. I still got my ticket, so maybe we'll just go. I'll bring the belt and we'll just stand outside the gate and we'll just let them know what we really think about Trump and Israel."
>> John is a mass homophobe. Yeah. No one's saying he's great, but look, even a broken clock is right twice a day.
>> Yeah. I mean, whatever. He I mean I'm sure he's a piece of [ __ ] and all that, but like Trump >> he's right about this and he's the I mean like preventing him from coming when he's the literally [ __ ] holds the strap for the middleweight championship >> is obviously [ __ ] a political [ __ ] calculation.
>> Yeah, it's obviously a Trump's request as well.
>> Sure. It's a BB's request.
>> Oh well fair. [laughter] Yeah, it's a BB's request. BB says no.
>> BB said no.
>> Man, this is a strange political fracturing, is it not?
>> Because the UFC now streams on Paramount. Who owns Paramount again? I forget.
>> I own it.
Basically, >> I mean, though, they remember that's how the deal got done. It was like when they wanted to get that merger done, it was like Donald Trump's like, I don't know about that. I don't know if I'll approve it. Who knows? Netflix, who who knows who's going to get it. Oh, we'll suck you'll suck your dick. Wait a second. I see I see a crystal ball. I see your future. Yeah, you guys are going to get it. Wow. I think the Trump administration's paid for play, so no shock. I can't believe we're going to have [ __ ] gladatorial combat on the front lawn of the [ __ ] White House.
>> Isn't that beautiful?
>> Yeah. I mean, you know, it is uniquely American. It's actually more American than I thought America could even get at this point.
>> We deserve We deserve the idiocracy thing and and there is a certain beauty to how it's playing out versus how it was kind of satirically portrayed because, you know, people always say, "Oh, yeah, it's happening." But it really isn't, you know, yet it's shaping up a little differently.
But >> not as differently as I'd hoped.
[laughter] I'll just say that. I'll just put that out there into the ether.
>> I'll give you that.
>> Decline of Rome in real time. See, the thing is that it's not really the decline of Rome in the sense of the fall of Rome. It's more like the decline of the Roman Republic and the transition into the Roman Empire.
>> Yeah, that's more correct.
>> Yeah.
I mean, yeah, that I would say that that's how I would look at it as well.
>> We deserve what we have.
>> True.
>> Yeah, I guess so. I guess so.
>> As was what George Con said about politics America. It's like the politicians represent us. This is the best we can do, folks. This is the best we can do. Brondo has electrolytes. IT'S GOT WHAT PLANTS CRAVE. Plants love electrolytes, baby. You know it. I know it. We all know it.
Well, look, as long as we know how to still put water on crops, we'll be okay, >> I guess.
>> Until we get Brono.
>> Till we have [ __ ] no more water to put on crops, then we'll be [ __ ] >> Water from a toilet.
>> Streamer was bullying her boyfriend until he had enough.
Let's see how this goes.
>> Yeah, this is some terrible [ __ ] >> How are you?
>> So, crazy lore here. Yes, on this chick.
I think we watched her do this. Have we watched this before?
>> Maybe, but I might have just watched it and I, you know, it's hard to sometimes in my memory to separate what I've watched on my own and what we've watched here. But anyway, >> you might have internalized it.
>> This is all from a couple years ago.
Well, it was back on the [ __ ] >> It's back in the zeitgeist. Whatever.
We're revisiting it to commemorate coming back.
>> This chick's name is Alisa Jordana >> and she has a pretty direct connection to the Howard Stern show. really. Yeah.
She was the girlfriend of Howard Stern's head writer, Benji, who was in the studio with him every day and, you know, would get on the mic and everything. Um, and they did like this crazy music stuff together where he produced the music and she would sing poorly.
Uh, and Howard had a real good time like playing it. and she always came off so sweet and like normal in comparison to Benji who was a total degenerate. And so her being a character on the show for a whole arc, it was weird to see the real her come out here because >> I'm sorry about this.
>> Don't talk. Don't [ __ ] talk.
>> Someone asked, "Is there a kink to find frumpy dudes and torture them?"
>> Uh, yeah, probably. She probably someone that wants to have all the power in the relationship and she's like, "I'm hotter than you. I'm better than you. I'm I mean, she's driving the [ __ ] card." I mean, I think it's pretty clear who's wearing the pants in this one.
>> You're fine. You're fine.
>> [ __ ] you.
>> Um, >> next time you [ __ ] touch me, I'll [ __ ] dick you. You understand?
>> She's happy. She's happy.

>> No. Calm down. Sarah, calm down.

>> And if you're not willing to get this, if you're just going to screech, help, help, help, and beep the horn.
>> Yeah, cuz the slap don't slap the [ __ ] button.
>> Yeah. Don't slap the [ __ ] guy then.
>> You won't be in this position if you don't hurt people with your own [ __ ] [ __ ] And it wasn't like it wasn't like she [ __ ] smacked him once >> out of [ __ ] like pure [ __ ] adrenaline and rage. It was like repeated.
>> Yeah. Was seemingly wasn't like this guy did anything to deserve. It wasn't like this guy was like >> he just spoke and she's just like, "SHUT UP. SHUT THE [ __ ] UP. Shut up. How dare you talk?

I'm so sorry. Please let me go. Please let me go.
Ow. No. Please. I'm so sorry. Please.

>> Okay. I'm getting out. I'm getting out.
You're killing me.
>> Killing you? I don't think he's killing you.
>> No.
>> No. He's just pulling you out of his car.
Well, like I said, that's terrible.
Jesus.
>> Play with fire, you get burned sometimes.
>> I don't even know if that guy was fire, but he he'd had enough.
>> Yeah.
>> White guy tells black FedEx driver to drive like a white man.
>> How does a white man drive? WHAT THE [ __ ] YOU GOING TO TAKE?

>> How [ __ ] what speed are you supposed to go down this dude's driveway? Cuz 15 seems like a pretty reasonable speed to go down this [ __ ] >> 1 mile hour.
>> You're supposed to creep at an interminably slow pace.
>> Yeah, you're supposed to go [ __ ] get out >> get out of the get out of the truck and push it >> down that driveway.

>> Well, not only that, that'd be a black man walking through the neighborhood.
That's going to be a problem, too.
>> Yeah, good point.
>> Electra. Okay, >> you [ __ ] DRIVE LIKE A WHITE MAN OR DON'T COME IN HERE.

[laughter] >> Yeah, it was just literally true. And by and by the way, that is act that's actually factually true. [laughter] >> Trump's name comes up more in the Epstein files than Jesus's name comes up in the Bible.

If you can't handle that bike, it's too big for you. And this is a case of like there's no way. I mean, she can do ride it technically, but this is not this is not size for someone this size. Like it's has nothing to do with the skill of the rider. It's like if you're not if you're not big enough to [ __ ] stand on the bike. I mean, clearly the fact that she can drive it at all shows that she's got the skill to do it, but she needs to get a bike that her feet can actually reach the ground on.
>> Yeah, I would recommend that, >> you know. I mean, come on. Measuring the mosquito levels over the river.
