It Appears Negotiations With Iran Have Once Again Fallen Apart

[00:00:00]Well, in this international game of deal or no deal, it appears it's no deal.

[00:00:07]Once again, Iran has come out and said no deal. There's no way uh we are going to open the straight of Hormuz without financial considerations. Basically, they want billions of dollars. They want reparations. They want assets unfrozen.

[00:00:22]The exact amount is not clear, but that's something they want. Also, there's no way they're going to negotiate on nuclear material.

[00:00:32]Period. I think what the Trump administration doesn't understand is how personal this is for Iran. And Iran is not desperate for a deal. They're desperate to make Donald Trump look bad in front of his voting base. That's what they're desperate for. They're desperate to make him look bad and weak, not only in front of his voters, but in front of the entire world. They could literally strike a deal and the moment Donald Trump comes out and lies about the terms of it, uh, glosses over it to make himself look better, they will immediately come out and call him a liar and blow up the whole deal. They want him personally to suffer.

[00:01:10]They want his reputation to suffer. They want his image to suffer. They want the world to know that we lost.

[00:01:20]They want him to be accountable for that. And the fact that that is their seemingly number one priority just tells you they're not at all desperate for a deal. If they were, they wouldn't care about any of that. And it's just once again apparent Donald Trump has never been successful in negotiating with serious people.

[00:01:42]He He has only been successful against gullible people. He's never Look at the OPEC 2020 deal. worst deal ever.

[00:01:50]Probably the worst deal ever. And he claimed victory. It was a horrible deal for the United States. Anyway, now he's back to, you know, threatening Iran on social media, posting pictures of bombs and all that normal stuff. So, it doesn't appear as there is any sort of deal in the making. Once again, another taco, another lie, another whatever this is. I honestly have no idea. But one thing that is apparent is Donald Trump is getting circles run around him faster than he even realizes. He cannot keep up with these people. And that's because he's too worried about the politics.

[00:02:28]He's too worried about his image. He's too worried about all the things that don't matter instead of worrying about the things that do matter. All the same reasons the United States hasn't won a war since what, World War II? I mean, seriously, come on. Then again, these two countries are not fighting the same war. I've said all along, Iran is fighting an economic war because that is the war that they know they can win. And it looks like they're doing it.
