One of my favorite spots to stop with families visiting Destin Fort Walton Beach

[00:00:00]So, we are out here at one of [music] my favorite spots to bring some families.

[00:00:05]It is the grass flats right next to Crab Island.

[00:00:10]One reason [music] I like it so much is because it's just so secluded. There's not many people around. Kind of got this whole slice of paradise to yourself. If you look over across the bay, you do get Crab Island [music] over there.

[00:00:27]It's getting busy, but this place is a grass flat. So, the grass, like all these dark spots, is grass. The grass grows from the bottom like it does on your lawn.

[00:00:36]It's just underwater, and it's a natural [music] ecosystem for our bay, and very important to our bay ecosystem, actually. [music] You're going to have some hermit crabs, some blue crabs, little bait fish through here. This is where you're going to find any seashells, if there's seashells around. One of my favorite spots out here to [music] bring families, even my own family.
