[00:00:36]Visual arts are art forms that people create to be seen with the eyes. They express ideas, beliefs, feelings, culture, and creativity using lines, shapes, colors, textures, and other visual elements.

[00:00:54]We have different visual arts during the early Philippine period. First one is pottery and ceramics.

[00:01:01]This is the art of making objects from clay, such as jars, pots, and bowls by shaping and heating them until they become hard.

[00:01:09]Examples are clay jars, cooking pots, and burial jars.

[00:01:14]These jars and pots are used for cooking, storing food, and rituals.

[00:01:27]Another one is sculpture and carving.

[00:01:30]This is the art of creating figures or designs by shaping or carving wood, stone, or other materials.
