Another round of strong storms and downpours possible late Monday evening

[00:00:00]We are still on pace for the wetest spring in Toledo's recorded history. And more storms and potentially heavy downpours are going to be out there Monday night and into early Tuesday morning. So, let's time this out. Get your work week started. Monday morning is going to have dry conditions.

[00:00:17]Temperatures will start the day in the 40s. There's no wet weather expected out the door early Monday. That's the best chance of seeing some sunshine. Clouds will increase through the afternoon. a cold front and a strong cold front is going to spark strong to severe storms west of Ohio that's really going to be targeting Illinois and western Indiana as a cold front approaches. Storm threats will increase especially as we go after dark Monday night, more likely late Monday night and early Tuesday morning. Now, this is much less likely these would be producing severe weather, but there may bring gusty winds and torrential downpours. where we get the heaviest of the rain. It could be half an inch to an inch or more. Cold front comes through early Tuesday morning. A few lingering showers. We dry out into Tuesday afternoon. And we're going to be looking at temperatures that will be considerably cooler by the middle of the work week.
