Political power dynamics often involve complex strategic alliances where individuals may help others achieve power only to later be betrayed, as demonstrated by Ousmane Sonko's journey from Prime Minister to Parliament Speaker in Senegal, illustrating how political relationships can shift dramatically once power is achieved.

SENEGAL : POLITICS IS A DOUBLE GAME SHOCKING NEWS — SONKO IS BACK AS PARLIAMENT SPEAKER!Added:
This man right here, Usman Sonko, has done something absolutely insane. And you have great lessons to learn from this. This man was prime minister in Sagon and then was fired by this man here. This man here fired him. This man is the president. His name is Joan Fi.
He fired him hoping to hurt him. But now this man has become the president of the assembly in Sagal. Crazy stuff. I think this is an amazing lesson. You have a lot to learn from. Let's go into this.
Now we are in Sagal. This is Sagal on the map. It's a beautiful place. Lovely people. Amazing place. You have to visit Sagal. One of the most powerful democracies in Africa. Stable country.
Lovely people. They love visitors. They have a lot of fun. Anyway, now in Sagal, this man is the president right now. His name is Basu Manf. But he became president in a very special way because of this man Usman Sonko who was lately the prime minister. But Usman Sonko was fired by Basil Man. Now let's get back his history so you can understand why.
Now back in times man this man was very much lacked by the people of Sagal. Why?
Because Sagal was going through a very difficult time. A lot of you know presidents looking after themselves and also old president. So Seneagali's people wanted a brand new president.
They wanted somebody who's young, somebody ambitious, somebody with good ideas. Sonko came to the scene with great ideas. He said, "You know what? We want an Africa that's free. We actually don't like the fact there are French military in our country. It makes no sense. I mean, we are a free country, right? Why Why are they so many soldiers of France in our country after colonization? It makes absolutely no sense. Also, we want freedom with our money. We don't want to be using the CFA Frank. What is the CFA Frank? CFA Frank is this money here. This money is a money that was printed by French people for African nations that speak French.
How? Because France colonized all these countries. You see on the map? Yes, they were colonized by the French. The most of them received their independence in 1960. Now, after 1960, France says, "Okay, we're going to go back to France, allow you to leave. However, we still want to control your economy." How do we control your economy? Well, how about we print your currency for you? We're going to print your currency. It's going to be stocked in France and printed in France and sent to you for use. While these countries said yes for some reason because they were afraid. They felt like if you resist the French, they're probably going to find underhanded ways to destabilize your country. Let's just say yes. Some of the countries that refused to accept the CFA Frank, something drastic happened to them.
French people went to a country named Guinea. What they did was they took the currency from the country and they wanted printed fake currencies, fake notes of the currency. What did they do that to hurt the currency and what happened next? The currency value devaluated quick. So when you have a lot of money available, you know the goods become very expensive. When be good become very expensive, then your money doesn't have value anymore. So these African countries accepted that because they were fearing either killings of the presidents or something sabotaging the country. Let's move forward. Now Usman Sonko this mania was a former prime minister fired by the president. He said he wanted the country to have its own currency. Those were some of his ideas when he was running for presidency. So a lot of people in Sagal really supported him because he looked like a brand new young Seneagalles that want a free Sagal. He wants respect. He wants accountability from these former colonies. He also wanted his country to print his own money and not use the TFA Frank which is a colonial Frank. When Usman Sonko was just about to run for president, he went to a massage parlor.
You know those places where you go and get massage and stuff. Everybody needs it sometime once in a while. I do do it as well. He went in there and something really interesting happened. When he came out, the masseuse, the female masseuse accused him of rape, you know, and it was drastic. It was mayhem. And he was arrested. When he was arrested, the people of Sagal said, "This doesn't sound good. Why is he being arrested after everybody can see this is potential next president? This doesn't sound right." They put pressure on the government. People came on the street pushing hard against the government saying, "We know what you're trying to do." This woman is lying about this guy.
I mean, he's a good-looking man. I mean, I'm not saying good-looking says anything about somebody's mentality.
However, it just doesn't line up.
Later on, they couldn't prove that he actually raped that girl. But what they could prove is because of you that the people of Sagal went to the street and destroyed infrastructure. He was then accused of inciting the youth into doing bad things to the country and not locked up for graing a woman. Initially it was you grabbed somebody but then because they couldn't prove it. They say you know since you didn't we can't prove that you grabbed somebody. We can prove that because of you people in the street destroyed and burnt you know equipment and cars and stuff. So we're going to put you in jail because of that. No, by the time he went to jail, that was the time the election was running. It was a strategy to get him out of the race.
Well, then he couldn't run as president being in jail, you know, as Sagal's rule say if you went to jail like this, you can't run as president. Now, Usman Senko said, "We need to find an alternative way to become president because people like us." So, he went to the street and said to the people of Sineagal, "If you vote for this guy, fire. This man, it's like you're voting for me. He is my friend. We've been in jail together.
I've trained him. I am his mentor.
Matter of fact, voting for fire is like voting for Sonko. Sonko equals Fi.
That's how most of the people in Sagal voted for Fi. And that is how FI became president. After Fi became president, something amazing happened. He said Sonko will be the prime minister.
Obviously, I mean this is your mentor.
This is the boss. He owns the political party from which you work. It's called Pastef. Now you have to make him prime minister because it was just a part of a game. The the idea was not for you to really be president. The idea was to beat the system that put him in jail.
Now when he got to power well fire started lacking power very much. Fire made many trips to Europe. Talking to the French people they follow from colony things were different. Now fire's mentality and Sonko all of the sudden started merging into different mentalities. fire was like more tolerant with the French presidency in Sagal when he made a speech one day instead of saying we want the French to leave our country because we are a free country the military cannot be in our soil with guns and stuff it makes no good look for the people to see he said they can leave when they want by the time they want they can relieve that is the opposite of what Sonko used to say they must leave now wanted respect accountability and stuff well fight wasn't about that fire wanted to do things easy. Let's take it easy. Let's work with the IMF. Now, Usman Sonko had another issue with the economy of the country. Usman Seonko was seen by the IMF. IMF said you guys are mismanaging the country. The finances of the country doesn't look good. So, we need to come and have a discussion and see how you're going to go through small training. Now, by doing that whatever they call small training, the reputation of the country will go negatively towards people. What people? investors.
Countries need investors to come into the country. Now if the investors know that IMF which is the organization that provide fund for many African countries is complaining about how you are dealing with money then investors will doubt investing into Senagal. So the sagalist prime minister Usman Sonko say I'm not accepting IMF's requirement. Now F the president who became president through Usman Sonko was not happy about that. So they faced what they call an arm wrestling between the prime minister and the president. So the president wanted to show to the world I'm actually the president. He's not. The prime minister wanted to remind him sadly that dude you became president because of me. It was because I could not run for presidency.
I put you forward. I said to the people you equals me. I equal you not the other way around. Now early this month the president of Sagal after coming back from France and other trips discussing with the French president he came back and said Usman Seonko will not be prime minister anymore. So he chased him out of power. People were in shocksman went to the street with the support of so many people because they could see right through what had just occurred. I mean, you've just helped somebody become president, something he could have never achieved in thousands of years, and now he turns against you. People went supporting Sonko say, "We know you. We didn't know him." Sonko went without saying, "You know what? I'm going to sleep easy tonight." Well, 2 days after something interesting happened. The president of the parliament of the assembly in Sagal quit his job. He says, "I am leaving my job." after thinking rationally and evaluating the situation, I'm not going to be continuing this job.
He left the position. Now remember, Pastf is the political party from which both Sonko and the president come from and Sonko is the founder. PF still runs parliament. Okay? They have the majority of seats. Out of 167, they have 138 seats. So Pastf in parliament ran a motion asking for Sonko to be reinstated as a parliamentarian and after doing that they also ran another motion voting for him to become the president of the parliament. So now Sonko has become the president or the speaker of the assembly. In other words, Sonko will now have the second most powerful position in Sagal.
So why is this important? This is a great lesson my brothers and I know a lot of people think you know president of the assembly doesn't really mean it means a lot because the assembly is where you vote laws. The assembly is where you look into motions. The assembly is where you going to give attention to this motion and this one we're going to throw to the garbage. The assembly can question the presidency itself. The assembly can vote no motion you know against any authorities in in the country. very interesting situation because it reminds us of many things.
Thomas Ankara of Bukina Faso who was turned against by his very good friend you know he must be very careful of friends good friends you know friends and opportunities I I think you should give opportunities to friend when it comes to something you're not interested in I'm sorry the type of friends we have today when you give them opportunities where you are they sometime then they want to take your place I'm sorry it's not everybody but but that's the situation a lot of people can tell you I brought somebody in my company then he want to the mongu to like him more than he likes I brought somebody in my company then he want the boss to know about my personal life. He even told the boss that I went to jail for doing the so and so. You see a lot of that situation. So no this man went to France. Had a discussion with the French. He said you know what let's talk. Let's resolve things and he forgot who got him to power. He forgot that the person that got him to power's idea was to cut ties completely and do everything. Let me know how you feel about this. Is this a good move? Is this karma? Do you believe in karma? Does karma exist? Or do you think this is just a good situation they put themselves in? Let me know how you feel about this. It was a great pleasure. God bless.
