Trump endorses Ken Paxton in Texas Republican Senate runoff

[00:00:00]24 hours after Republican Senator John Cornyn had this to say, The president, I know I've talked to him about it a lot and I think he doesn't want to disappoint some of his own supporters by picking sides. President Trump dropped this announcement on Truth Social. Ken Paxton has my complete and total endorsement to be the next United States Senator from the great state of Texas.

[00:00:29]>> His president J.D. Vance is doubling down on the endorsement.

[00:00:33]>> But unfortunately, you know, when when it really counted, Ken Paxton was there for the country, was there for the president.

It makes what was already going to be a difficult election for Senator Cornyn all the more difficult. I wouldn't want to rule out Senator Cornyn at this point, but clearly he has a lot of work to do between now and May 26th.
