[00:00:00]This is the smallest mech to ever house the fabulous new rail gun. At just 75 tons of weight, this mech is basically a main weapon on legs. Naturally, most of your damage comes from your primary rail gun.

[00:11:24]I should probably not have taken the shots on the Lucas. Should have saved those shots for something bigger. Uh to killing both a solo kill and 800. Solid match. The components almost 500 match go once again.

[00:11:38]GG's. Hi friends, I'm TTB and you're watching JC Engineering. Here we have the build for our mech on screen. As you can see guys, we're rocking a light engine 280 as the basis for our build.

[00:11:47]I've got, of course, the rail gun here with both capacitors. Then we've got six tons of rail gun ammo and three small lasers in each arm. We're removing three armor off of the arms each and eight armor off of each leg. Enos structure, light ferrof fibers, and double heat sinks are our upgrades. Our firepower, uh, it's listed as 46.5, but that is not exactly correct. Our speed 60.5 kph.

[00:12:13]In terms of the crooks, we're getting 10% heat dissipation. That is it. Plus 10 full body structure and 30% chassis seabill bonus. Now, how does the rare gun work? Well, look here. The rare gun right now after patch is going to be a little bit less damage. Right now, it's listed as 24 damage. After the patch, it's going to do uh four damage less, but the cooldown is also going to come down by 1 second. So, long story short, the DPS of this weapon is not going to change. It's going to do a little bit less damage per hit, but it is going to shoot a little bit faster. So, the ray gun is going to be at 20 damage. And then you've got the capacitors. And if you mouse over the capacitors, you see that each of these capacitors increases the heat by per shot by four, the pinpoint damage by eight, and the splash damage by 1.6 on either side. So, basically, what happens is that each capacitor adds an extra eight pinpoint damage. That is 16 damage right here plus the 20 right here. It's going to be 20 + 16 = 36 plus of course the splash damage. If you lose side torsos then of course you lose a damage capacity. So that out of the way. Uh make sure to take the ammo skill by the way. That way you get uh six tons of ammo six shots per ton of ammo and not just four. Very important.

[00:13:33]That is basically it guys. Weapon group wise. I mean it's a no-brainer. Mouse button one shoots the laser, but mouse button two charges the rare gun. That's it. Your lasers, like I said in the intro, great for point defense, great for knocking out components, uh, and keeping pesky lights off of you. You might think six small lasers is not much, but um, that's about the firepower of an AC20 that's shooting relatively often. Um, basically heat neutral and, uh, has pinpoint instant hit scan. So, don't underestimate this. I've fought and won many a fight with small lasers in this game. And of course, the rail gun being the high mount. Really, really nice and easy to use. Great mech. If you've got the uh tournament support back uh pack, I will think that you will enjoy this a lot. But hey, if you guys have played this build, let me know how it turns out for you. Oh, by the way, last point, small lasers, not small lasers. Why? E smalls. um 2.5 cooldown, 1.6 heat. The small lasers, 2.25 cooldown, and 1.1 heat. So, heatwise, they are a lot cooler running at the same damage. And the optimal range is 200 on the ER small, it is 160 on a normal small laser. So, there is a small bracket of like 30 m where the ER smalls are going to be better. And then everything below that, the smalls are just better than ER smalls. So, I would just go for the small lasers. is higher DPS closer up. Um, and those extra 3 meters are they're not going to make or break uh this. So, I would always go smalls over er smalls. Uh, clan, of course, different story. The clan ER smalls have a lot more range and you don't have normal small lasers here uh as an alternative, but yeah, I would I would just go small lasers unless there are specific use cases for smalls, but this mech ain't it. Well, there you have it. This is the smallest mech that runs a rare gun currently in Mech Warrior online. definitely a lot of fun to play and uh is a I would say very interesting and a pretty good mech and I really enjoyed playing it.
