These Trees Are Causing MORE Damage Than You Think 🌳⚠️

[00:00:00]Hi guys, this is Andrew from The Tree Solutions Company. I was just out here at a complex doing a quote and I wanted to show you these are a rainforest species and these are great example of trees growing in the wrong position and needing to be removed as soon as possible. Now, this interesting thing is that the tenants probably thought it were great because you can see here they've put string around it and they were obviously using it to hang things.

[00:00:28]But if you have a look up here, that canopy is in covering both roofs and damaging guttering and roofings and pushing against the eaves of the roof right there. And then if you have a look down here, the trunks are right up against the concrete. In fact, it's already growing over the concrete here. Um, you can imagine where the roots are and they'll be lifting the concrete already.

[00:00:52]Um, you can see this cracking happening there and it's going straight to the house footings and foundations. Have a look at those underground services, that storm water drain's already been crushed up.

[00:01:04]And then have a look at the length of the trunks. That has poor taper on it and so as wind comes, it doesn't have much strength on it to take the wind that's been caught by the canopy. And then this tree over here, this is a Chinese elm. These are a council classified weed and they will grow large very quick. They're a fast growing tree.

[00:01:28]They're prolific and what also can happen is birds eat the seeds and propagate them as they fly around.
