[00:00:00]So, my gut feeling is that America and India truly are working as natural partners.

[00:00:08]We complement each other.

[00:00:10]What America can offer in terms of technology, innovation, in terms of high precision, defense, digital, data centers, quantum computing, equipment of very high caliber in the medical devices sector, all of these are areas where we do need to work closely with America.

[00:00:37]Likewise, America is looking for a trusted partner.

[00:00:41]Suddenly, somebody who doesn't steal your IP.

[00:00:46]And I think India has proven track record over decades of truly working as a country, as a set of businesses here, who respect the intellectual property of foreign companies, who can be trusted to deliver high quality on time.

[00:01:10]There's a large pool of talent available for all of you.

[00:01:15]And in some sense, these are two economies which totally complement each other with hardly any competition.

[00:01:23]And when this complementarity has an overlay of mutual trust, I think it becomes a unbeatable combination.

[00:01:34]We can provide scale to American innovation in terms of demand aggregation of 1.4 billion aspirational Indians, a rising middle class, rising incomes, growing economy.

[00:01:49]And therefore, it it does not surprise me that in the middle of such a global crisis, we had the Ukraine war already on.

[00:02:00]We landed up with the West Asia crisis.

[00:02:04]And we are all witness to the way the world is going through very tumultuous times.

[00:02:11]India being upgraded from 6.4 to 6.5% in the middle of the war with all these challenges is true testimony to the capability of 1.4 billion Indians.

[00:02:27]is reflective of our growing ability to engage with the world from a position of strength with confidence and as a true partner for friendly countries, somebody who has remained very much a favored investment destination.

[00:02:52]A country which is known for decisive leadership and being recognized as such again and again even in the course of the last visit Prime Minister has just come back this morning after a grueling five-nation trip.

[00:03:10]And you can see from the comments of world leaders the admiration and the expectation that the world has of India.

[00:03:24]And I have no doubt in my mind that every Indian on the one hand feels proud of this global recognition for each one of us and on the other hand feels driven and empowered to do even better to serve Mother Bharat, our beloved nation, our motherland as well as work towards a better future for every child born in the country.
