[00:01:12]The remaining defendants tied to Demetrius Hatley's claims and the people that I mentioned before, Daniel Boba, Dr. Daniel Boba, Signe, James Fondo, Stephen Catty, Jessica Catty, have now reached a settlement with Demetrius and will be dismissed from the case with prejudice.

[00:01:37]So, remember that, with prejudice. The settlement >> Oh. The settlement also includes the dismissal of Dr. Daniel Boba's counterclaims against Demetrius Hatley.

[00:01:49]So, earlier defendants that were included or initially were Roc Nation. And I can show you guys that because I have to >> they were removed a while back. Yeah, they but they remember they were a part of it initially. Mhm, yes they were. So, that's that's kind of where I'm at with it right now. Um, and [music] here's the the case here's the here's the situation here.

[00:02:18]As you guys can see, Roc Nation there's uh Iconics Graters, Mitchell uh Bernstein, Life Skills and others.

[00:02:30]As you can see on here, they've already been dismissed following motions to dismiss it. This is back in the beginning in 2025. So, the only person right now and it says a newly filed motion notice of impasse confirms that mediation between Demaryia Hadley and Dezaree Perez did not result in a settlement. So, as of now Demaryia Dezaree Perez appears to be the primary remaining defendant actively litigating against her daughter, Demaryia Hadley, [music] in the underlying case. So, >> Trial's coming. Trial's coming.

[00:03:07]>> [music] >> And then >> Trial's coming. And and yeah, we got October. So, we got uh about four or five months. The consolidated litigation involving Javon Hadley and the Perez family members remain ongoing under the same federal judge.

[00:05:05]But seriously though, um What do you think of this case? I mean, what do you think of >> I think that De'Mar Ray is going to keep her word and she's going to go all the way to the mattresses. I think she's going to go all the way there. I don't think she's playing around on her.

[00:05:27]Um You know, she Just the simple fact that she had to post that hey, it's my grandfather's birthday and it's been over a year and I'm still not allowed to talk to him.

[00:05:42]I'm still not allowed to see him. Like the simple fact that you're still playing that kind of hardball is kind of wild and I know what that's like cuz my sister played those games with my mom and then my mom died.

[00:05:55]In 2024. Not quite sure exactly when my mom died. No one has seen a death certificate. No one knows where her remains were. No one knows anything. So like the same kind of thing is kind of happening with It's just it's pathetic.

[00:06:27]It's just wild. It's wild but you know tomorrow she's going to she's strong-willed. Like talking to her and getting to know her for that brief amount of time before the gag order fell into place. Um It was nice talking to her. It just was.

[00:06:44]Listening to this younger woman who's fighting the same kind of fight that I'm fighting from a different aspect but still fighting the same kind of fight because though she didn't experience um some of the things that I experienced that put me in the position that I am just being the daughter of one of these people put her in that situation and she experienced the same kind of treatment and I think that that's what made defending your freedom as a series so dynamic because multiple people are experiencing the same things for different reasons but the same things and have connections to the same people.

[00:07:32]Speaks volumes and I can see why they wanted to put somebody like old trashy in the mix to try to divert attention.

[00:07:40]It's so funny. Like people they they ignore certain things or you know, cuz like everyone up until we started really attacking this whole situation, people were kind of going along with the narrative that that Roc Nation was selling.

[00:07:57]And it was good when B J jumped in and it was good when um Xavier jumped in. And it was you know, it was good when there was a small core group of people, content creators, that were all working together.

[00:08:13]Well, not all working together. Let's just say you guys were all in line with the truth. Well, when I say working together, I don't mean working together as a team cuz I don't know Xavier, never talked to Xavier.

Uh especially after the way she she flipped and went um ignorant on me and Latonya because she got mad that she got called out for what she was doing at the courthouse. I didn't know that she lived in New Jersey either. I thought she was still in the south.

You can kind of see who was who in these YouTube streets pretty much because you got to pay attention to those who do not really touch anything revolving revolving Roc Nation unless it's something positive and they're you know, they're they're glazing. If if if it's other stuff, then it's all we're not going to talk about that. Up until recently. After those interviews that the Jiggaman has been doing, there hasn't been a whole lot of glazing going on.

[00:10:31]You ended up in the same place that other people have ended up in industry wise and you're tied to Roc Nation. That was her aspect of it. You had Xavier who's a barb who was repping heavy on the barb side of things and then you had us.

[00:10:47]And we're our own little country. So, [music] you know, and then there were a few other content creators that were that were getting involved and I thought it was cool when someone came up with the Demore docket.

[00:11:00]Um I thought that was cool to do that on X and it was good to just see people who were not afraid.

[00:11:08]And the truth is is barbs as a collective as a whole they love a fight.

[00:11:13]So Apparently uh Desus Rae she loves a fight because her countersuit I was looking at this right now. Hold on. Um I just had it. It said her the countersuit says that um these claims alleging the Marchman Act was necessary due to severe drug abuse and that she has recordings [music] of the abuse of her husband allegedly and some 10 million What did I see this it was a 10 million dollar um Yeah, she's claiming that there's a 10 million dollar scam.

[00:11:53]Perez claims her actions were a protective response to alleged abuse by At least husband accusing the pair of a 10 million dollar extortion scheme.
