According to Admiral Brad Cooper's testimony to the Senate Armed Services Committee, Iran-backed groups attacked US troops and diplomats approximately 350 times over 30 months before Operation Epic Fury, averaging one attack every three days, resulting in four deaths and nearly 200 wounded, yet most Americans remained unaware of this sustained campaign.

Iran-Backed Groups Attacked U.S. Troops 350 Times Before Operation Epic Fury, CENTCOM SaysAñadido:
Most Americans have no idea this happened, and that's the part that should alarm every single person watching this.
>> How long have you been familiar with um Iran and its leadership and its attacks against the United States?
>> I've studied or been a part of it for the better part of three decades, particularly acutely in the last five years. And leading up to February 28th, months prior to that, what what was jarring to you that you saw different than what had been for those many decades that you've been involved?
>> I think it's important to note just in the 30 months before uh Epic Fury commenced. Uh Iran and its proxies had been attacking US service members and diplomats about 350 times. Can you repeat that? every about every third day Iran and its proxies attacked American service members 350 times in the Middle East.
>> I don't think that that Americans were aware of that that in the 30 months that they had attacked Americans or their service members 350 times. Does that surprise you that I would say that that I don't believe the everyday American going to work knew that? Uh it's it's disappointing, but between the actions of uh proxies in Iraq and Syria as well as the Houthi the Houthis, that's that's simply the fact of what happened.
>> So this was during testimony over the Senate Armed Service Committee. Admiral Brad Cooper, the commander of US Central Command, said that within 30 months before Operation Epic Fury, Iranian supported groups attacked US troops and deployments more than 350 times. That means roughly one attack every 3 days against Americans in the Middle East.
The part that makes things worse is that those attacks took the life of four US service members and wounded nearly 200 more. This is according to Cooper's testimony as reported by the new region.
Now, how many Americans actually knew that? Because that's not just some small background detail. That's the kind of information that completely changes how people understand the conflict. SenCom's own written statements say Operation Epic Fury was launched after Iran's networks of proxies, missile arsenal, drones, and regional aggression had created long-running threat to US forces and partners. So, this is the real question. If American troops were attacked every 3 days for 30 months, why did so many Americans hear about this only after the war escalated? Because whether you support the operation or not, the public deserves to know the full context. You can't have an honest debate about war if the American public has been kept in the dark about attacks that came before it. Because this isn't just an isolated attack. According to the commander of Sentcom, this was a sustained campaign against Americans.
And you bet your ass that alone makes a huge difference on why we're even in Iran in the first place.
