[00:00:52]>> I don't think that that Americans were aware of that that in the 30 months that they had attacked Americans or their service members 350 times. Does that surprise you that I would say that that I don't believe the everyday American going to work knew that? Uh it's it's disappointing, but between the actions of uh proxies in Iraq and Syria as well as the Houthi the Houthis, that's that's simply the fact of what happened.

[00:01:17]>> So this was during testimony over the Senate Armed Service Committee. Admiral Brad Cooper, the commander of US Central Command, said that within 30 months before Operation Epic Fury, Iranian supported groups attacked US troops and deployments more than 350 times. That means roughly one attack every 3 days against Americans in the Middle East.

[00:01:37]The part that makes things worse is that those attacks took the life of four US service members and wounded nearly 200 more. This is according to Cooper's testimony as reported by the new region.

[00:01:49]Now, how many Americans actually knew that? Because that's not just some small background detail. That's the kind of information that completely changes how people understand the conflict. SenCom's own written statements say Operation Epic Fury was launched after Iran's networks of proxies, missile arsenal, drones, and regional aggression had created long-running threat to US forces and partners. So, this is the real question. If American troops were attacked every 3 days for 30 months, why did so many Americans hear about this only after the war escalated? Because whether you support the operation or not, the public deserves to know the full context. You can't have an honest debate about war if the American public has been kept in the dark about attacks that came before it. Because this isn't just an isolated attack. According to the commander of Sentcom, this was a sustained campaign against Americans.
