[00:00:00]We learn that definitionally, not just cuz we look kind of similar, but like definitionally, humans are great apes. So, taxonomy taxonomy is the science of like classifying different organisms and learning like how they go together and then systematics is expanding on that with modern genetic evidence and whatnot, actually building phylogenies and learning like who's related to who.

[00:00:26]So, when I asked you how do those do you think those things work, what I was trying to get out is the fact that we don't just use like "Mhm, this is kind of similar to that." We actually go and look at like their genes. We look at like how these animals are developing and like what's going on with them in order to to establish a hierarchy, a a clade that we can then put them into.

[00:00:45]And we learn that definitionally, not just cuz we look kind of similar, but like definitionally, humans are great apes. Great apes are a type of primate and primates are a type of mammal and mammals are a type of what? Animal. You don't like these words cuz they feel icky to you. That doesn't change reality and that is every single call with you is "I think this feels good, doesn't feel good, is whatever, and therefore all biologists are wrong."

[00:01:16]And it just it I I don't understand how you can be this confident and this wrong at the same time. But at the end of the day, if you go get proper biology training, if you pick up literally an introductory biology textbook, you will learn why everything you were saying is wrong.
