Kimchi Eliminates Microplastics!

[00:00:00]Well, you know, there's a brand new study that just came out Laura that just shows how kimchi, the centuries-old food, can actually eliminate and extract the microplastics from our body. I mean, this study was called kimchi-derived probiotics found to promote binding and excretion of intestinal nanoplastics.

[00:00:19]And the researchers isolated a specific strain of lactic acid bacteria, also known as lab. And what they did is they administered that bacteria to a test group. And when they compared that group with the control group, the people that didn't receive the lactic acid bacteria strain, guess what? They found twice as many microplastics excreted in the feces of the people that had received the kimchi. So, essentially, this means that the lab strain unique to kimchi was extremely effective in removing plastics in vivo. Now, this is just the most recent study that shows kimchi's powerful ability to rid our bodies of harmful microplastics.
