[00:00:22]Praise the Lord. Greetings, brethren. It is Rhapsody Time, Reality Time.

[00:00:30]For May the 23rd, the message is titled Christ, the chief cornerstone.

[00:00:37]The theme scripture is taken from Matthew chapter 21 verse 42. And it reads, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner.

[00:00:51]This is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes.

[00:00:57]We learned in our previous study one of the clearest truths in scripture, the Lord Jesus Christ is the foundation of the church.

[00:01:08]This is not an idea or a mere concept.

[00:01:11]In Matthew chapter 21 verse 42, he identified himself as the stone spoken of in prophecy, the one rejected by the builders, yet chosen by God to become the head of the corner.

[00:01:27]The Apostle Paul by the spirit also stated this plainly in 1 Corinthians chapter 3 verse 11.

[00:01:34]For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

[00:01:42]That settles it. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only true foundation.

[00:01:49]No other foundation can be laid.

[00:01:53]This aligns perfectly with the prophecy of Isaiah that says, "Therefore, thus saith the Lord God, behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation."

[00:02:14]God was speaking here about a person, Christ Jesus, who also quoted the same prophetic words in Psalm chapter 118 verse 22, when he said, "Did he never read in the scriptures, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?

[00:02:38]This is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes."

[00:02:43]The rejection of Christ didn't cancel God's plan. It fulfilled it.

[00:02:51]The one they refused became the cornerstone of God's eternal structure.

[00:02:58]In Acts chapter 4, the apostles proclaimed this truth boldly and made it unmistakable.

[00:03:08]"This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner."

[00:03:17]And this is taken from Acts chapter 4 verse 11.

[00:03:22]This is why the wrong Jesus spoke of in Matthew 16 is not a revelation, and it is not Peter.

[00:03:32]The scriptures consistently identify Christ as the rock, the stone, the foundation, and the chief cornerstone.

[00:03:43]Paul further confirms this in Ephesians chapter 2 verse 20, when he said by the Spirit that we are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets.

[00:03:56]Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone.

[00:04:02]The stability of the church is Christ and those who believe in him are founded on the rock, immovable and victorious forever.

[00:04:14]This is the glory of the gospel.

[00:04:18]Hallelujah.

[00:04:21]Now, it is time to make a confession.

[00:04:24]So, confess after me.

[00:04:28]I'm founded on Christ.

[00:04:32]The sure foundation and chief cornerstone of the church.

[00:04:40]My faith is anchored on him alone.

[00:04:46]And my life is built on his unshakeable truths.

[00:04:54]I walk in stability, confidence, and victory because I'm founded on the rock, Christ Jesus.

[00:06:52]I confess with my mouth, Jesus Christ is Lord of my life from this day.

[00:07:05]And by my faith in him, I receive eternal life into my heart, into my spirit.

[00:07:19]Thank you, Lord, for saving my [music] soul.

[00:07:29]I'm a child of God [music] now.

[00:07:32]I am born again.
