Peter Obi Captures the North, Northerners Divided over Obi, Kwankwaso, Atiku & TinubuAdded:
2027, meaning only death can stop him from voting for Pawi in 2027.
And this is one among many young Nigerians, especially in northern part of the country that are now clamoring for Pitoi ahead of the 2027 presidential elections.
These issues are high stakes politics in northern Nigeria. You can imagine who would even think in northern Nigeria in 2026 people will be talking about Peter Obi with such an enthusiasm.
You can imagine in 2023 he managed to win in only few state precisely two. He won in plateau. He won in Nasarawa and then plus the FCT.
Okay. In this episode of the context, we are going to break down how Paw's popularity is striking a lot of people in northern part of the country especially among young Muslims. The northerners are now clashing about Peti.
Some are saying they must vote for him.
And we are going to bring you the comments and we are going to translate them for you to understand what the north is saying about Pitoi ahead of 2027 presidential elections.
This video is not about speculation.
If you watch to the end of this video, we are going to drop the link to some of those post and also the comment so you can see them first hand so you understand what we are saying. We are not speculating. We are reporting it as it happens how it is not like projecting what is not in reality. It is not fiction in another way. It is a journalistic uh presentation. We are going to use evidence. Okay. Let me read from this uh striking comment and we are going to analyze it together. This one is saying he is swearing to God.
a Muslim in northern Nigeria swearing in the name of Allah that if you see that if he fails to uh elect Pawi in 2027 he's saying that it means it is only death that will stop me from voting for Peter read between the lies only death can stop him from voting for Peter. So this means a lot and he's not alone. There are several other young Nigerians who have similar opinion and we are going to read them.
Okay. Now for a Muslim northern Nigeria to say this, you know that something more striking has struck that person inside his mind deep. And it is not just what he said. It is the meaning that it carries and how he feels inside his mind.
The way he loves Peter. Okay, let's move to a response. There is a response below his comment. And this one is saying by the grace of Allah you will be alive.
By the grace of Allah, you will be alive to witness the election in 2027 and Peter Obi will be the president of Nigeria. He will rule in.
And by the grace of Allah, you will see development.
you will see development in terms of progress that will help Nigeria to grow.
These are their own opinions and they are northern Muslims. You can see the names and you can also follow the link that will be dropped below in the description so that you can read the comment firsthand to understand what we are saying. And now to the next one.
Okay, this one is saying inshallah. Obi inshallah. It means we are going to vote for Peter Obi by the grace of Allah.
This one is saying inshallah again. And this one is saying the we are going to vote for Obi and this one sayso.
This one said and this one said inshallah. All of them are saying they are going to vote for Peter Obi. You can see from the thumbnail for yourself. This channel is not a clickbait channel. We are giving you the fact as they unfold.
No mixture of our own ideas, of our own opinions per se. Although we are entitled to our opinions, but then we are giving you the fact about what is currently happening in Nigerian politics. Let's move on. Uh this one is saying how he use a very derogatory word. How can I elect a bad Muslim one day who is cheating me?
Who is actually uh Yeah, cheating you can call it. and who is also uh kind of uh stressing you or putting you in difficulties in hardship and then when there is a Christian that I am hoping who will be just to me who can do justice to me in a nutshell how can I vote for a bad Muslim him who is putting more hardship on me.
When there is a Christian who I expect, who I am hoping that he will do uh justice to me, Peter Oini, Peter Obi is my choice in 2027.
So these are some of the comments and this one is saying is one of the most striking comments actually you need to understand. This one is saying Muslim Muslim ticket. The Muslim Muslim ticket it was created.
It was created orchestrated because the politicians want to win the election not because they want the progress of Islamus.
What has it benefited the Muslim um with removal of fuel subsidy the Russians and insecurity and high cost of living that the masses are battling with that the poor struggle to survive.
Unemployment among the youth and the skyrocating prices of food items and commodities in the market and the devaluation of the naira the lack of electricity and the rest of the problem.
And these are the the things you find in this government.
And his argument is that uh Islam has actually uh teach Muslims to do justice and Muslim Muslims are supposed to follow that. Muslims are supposed to be just and also do justice to whoever is involved not just to the people of their own religion.
So in a nutshell a lot of Nigerians in northern part of the country are showing solidarity and support for pawi right now.
We are telling you this because we are following the development and you can see for yourself. You can see check the description below and you will see the link to the original post. This post that you can see here uh was published actually by daily Nigerian. Yes, it is uh a platform owned by Jaffer. Jaffer, you know him from Ko state. In the original post he said 2027 2027 election Obiu are you voting for Peter Obi or Tinibu and he posted their pictures together. Yes, he's asking Nigerians whether they will vote for Peter Obi or Tinibu. And then a lot of reactions within some short period of time before you know it, the internet in northern Nigeria was a go with a lot of people commenting, young people engaging in a political conversation. Some people are of course supporting Peti and of course others were saying no they are not going to support Peti and some are even saying that Pete's allegedly uh hit Muslims according to some of their comment and if you go there you will see that and some are even alleging that uh one audio track that was alleged to have been leaked it was uh linked to Peter. Although we cannot independently verify the authenticity or otherwise of that audio clip or they said that because of that they are not going to support him but others say that they are going to support him and we are reporting the both side those supporting Pet and those against him. Yes, we are reporting it as it is. We want you to understand that.
But in the whole of this issue that is happening, Nigerians must be united and they must raise above religious sentiment and also regional and ethnic bias for the country to grow.
If you go to the US, you go to so many different countries for example, although you cannot take away the issue of racism and all that, even in the Arab world, but in the case of Nigeria, every day you hear the issue of ethno religious crisis here and there, people fighting because of religion, killing each other, which is very bad actually for any society to progress. Peace must be stable and peace means stability. If there is no stability, no economic development will take place in any country, the country will just be there and then people will be dying.
Businesses will go away. No one will be there to actually invest in that nation.
One thing is clear, Nigerians must be united for them to have good leadership. What do you think about this development? Join the conversation below. Thanks for watching the context.
