How a Yellowstone geyser gave us PCR testing
Added:The discovery of heat loving [snorts] microorganisms in geysers in Yellowstone. This discovery came from some Indiana University researchers who are working out in the field in Yellowstone. They discovered this new microorganism and that discovery because of the qualities of those microorganisms led to today's PCR test of all things.
So we just don't know what sort of eureka moments some of the most talented people in their disciplines are going to be able to have on account of revealing the traits of countless living things in nature. And it's not just with a wonder of AI, it's not just isolated scientists and other inspired people who will make these connections.
Now our algorithms can help make these connections for us. And so we're designing tools that will allow us to come up with with multiple solutions to cancers and all sorts of problems that we've long wanted to solve.
