Government immigration enforcement policies can create severe agricultural workforce shortages, as demonstrated by Texas farms losing nearly 100% of their workers overnight, leading to crop rotting, livestock neglect, and potential food supply disruptions across the nation.

MAGA Voters Uproar As Texas Farmers Cost Of Living Crisis Is Out Of ControlAdded:
Who did you vote for for president?
[music] Mr. Trump.
Right. Trump.
Mr. Trump.
If the election were [music] today, Frank, would you vote for Donald Trump?
No way.
Couldn't happen.
No.
You voted for President Trump. So now, in this moment [music] you say you're in a free fall, what is your message to him? So I'm off the Trump train. [music] Um where I'm going for now is I got to protect my business. I went to a wheat farmer who says he's lost [music] $400,000 since Trump took office.
>> there was a lot of people who voted for him that one. I stayed loyal to him, but it's going to get to the point where we're financially >> [music] >> if it's between supporting the president or losing your family farm. You voted for the president?
>> Yes, [music] I did. And do you support these policies which might be hurting farmers like you? Right now, more than ones that are [music] taking a hit. And you sort of backstabbing the the main people who got him into office in the Midwest and he just let us down.
This is breaking news. Texas farmers are sounding the alarm on this tariff war.
And in more breaking news, nobody cares.
Yeah, I don't know if it's just me or uh maybe it's some of you too, but as far as farmers sending sounding the alarm, I don't care.
I have to admit I don't care at all because the last time Donald Trump was president, 100,000 farmers across the country lost their farms. Yeah. So, overwhelmingly, farmers voted for this man again, knowing full well of his history the last time he was president.
>> [music] >> So, from me to you, farmers, I don't care.
I don't care how bad things get for you.
I don't care if you lose your farm. I don't care if you I don't care.
At At I don't care to hear about it. I really don't. Because this [music] is exactly what you voted for. And you're going to get what you voted for. You're going to get four more years of Donald Trump not giving a damn about farmers whatsoever.
So, enjoy.
Oh, MAGA, you're in trouble.
Apparently, there's a shortage of workers on the farm. But don't worry, MAGA.
Brooke Collins, who heads agriculture, says that she has a solution. Seems like Trump and Brooke Collins have put their heads together and [music] come up with a solution to solve the problem on the farms losing workers.
Let's watch the video and see what Brooke Collins [music] has to say to solve this issue.
more than enough. There will be no amnesty, domestic deportations continue but in a strategic way, and we move the workforce towards automation, and 100% American participation, which again, with 34 million people able-bodied adults on Medicaid, we should be able to do that fairly quickly. Thank you.
Did you hear that, MAGA?
They're saying, if you're able-bodied and on Medicaid, you are going to work in the fields.
MAGA, this is where it hits you.
You're going to work in the fields. And you're going to see what it's like for these undocumented immigrants to come to America and work a hard day's labor in American [music] fields.
Get ready to pack up meemaw and pawpaw and put them on a bus and send them to the fields, MAGA.
That's what you voted for, and [music] that's what you deserve. Tell me what you guys think about this in the comments. Have a day.
It's still from Georgia. So, this is news out of Texas. But folks, these are alarm bells ringing for the entire United States.
And our government is not listening.
Uh overnight, multiple farms in the state of Texas completely shut down. And the reason for this shutdown was because they have lost almost 100% of their workforce.
Now, we know this this is the result of the immigration raids and stricter enforcement.
But, the ripple effect is going to be felt all the way across this country.
Now, you've got crops that are rotting in the fields.
You have livestock that is not being uh attended to at all. And that takes a lot of personnel. And we're talking So, now we're getting every area of food to include meat.
And the communities that surround these farms >> All right, so welcome back. You have seen these clips. Obviously, uh mega supporters are really, really angry with Donald Trump policies concerning agriculture industry. They are really, really angry and obviously, they are saying that uh Donald Trump policies are killing the industry. And uh looking at different videos and uh different uh opinion from different people, obviously, you can see the effect of uh the policies of uh uh Republicans and you can see that obviously, it's killing that industry.
All right, welcome to my channel.
Uh feel free to like this video and also share your comments in the comment section. And do not forget to subscribe.
Obviously, I have other clips for you to see where other people share their perspective concerning uh what's happening in the agricultural community.
And after the videos, I'll come back for more commentary.
And on illegal immigration is starting to affect the Texas agriculture industry. Some farmers say their workers are too scared to show up for work. Fox 4's Casey Stegall spoke with the Texas agriculture commissioner about the recent immigration raids. Casey.
Hey Steve, good to see you. The state Republican agriculture commissioner tells me that the stepped-up immigration enforcement is taking a toll on the industry, not just here in Texas, but beyond. While federal immigration authorities say they're only doing their jobs.
Just 40 miles or so south of the Dallas hustle and bustle, row crops, hay production, sits Lee Calvert's 2,000-acre Ellis County family farm. My father helps me, obviously. My little sister helps. My wife, a huge help. I've got three sons and they're coming along and doing what they can. Calvert knows he's lucky not having to rely on farm hands to check the chores off, because those who do say absenteeism among hired migrant help has disrupted their entire operations. They hear that ice is coming or that they see somebody's mayonnaise roll up, uh well, they just don't show up. They're scared to come to work. Texas agriculture commissioner Sid Miller tells Fox 4 dairy farmers have been hit the hardest.
But on a dairy, those cows, they never stay milked.
You milk them three times in a 24-hour period. So, if the crew doesn't show up, these dairymen go into panic mode.
Recent video posted to immigration rights groups' social media channels shows federal agents conducting raids on California farms. President Trump in the last week briefly paused this type of enforcement within a handful of economic sectors which rely heavily on migrant labor, like agriculture, then it was back to business. We're enforcing everywhere. In other words, the president has said if you are an illegal immigrant into this country, you ought to voluntarily go back and come through the proper channels.
>> But folks like Lee Calvert agree there's no place in America for migrants with violent criminal backgrounds, but wishes there was more gray area. And I think there needs to be a distinction made in a in a pathway for the people that do want to come here, obey our laws, integrate into our societies, work in our factories, fields, wherever.
So the US Department of Agriculture estimates that more than 40% of the nation's farm workers are undocumented.
God damn, farmers are going through it, aren't they? Check out these farmers from Texas and Iowa. My name is Russell Baining.
Uh my family and I farm right south of San Antonio. We're buying nitrogen right now, and it's Yeah. about 40% higher than it was, you know, two or three months ago.
Before the conflict, let's just say that. I'm Lance Lillibridge from Benton County, Iowa. We booked most of our fertilizer before the conflict in Iran.
However, some of it we did not because it was too expensive. We're probably going to go without that particular nutrient on our crop this year. A lot of other farmers are doing the same thing. My name is Matt Frostic. Have a crop and livestock operation in Michigan.
January, we were looking You got your rising fertilizer costs. You've got your trade war with soybean and also tariffs. You got your tariffs on your equipment. You got your high gas prices. Did you know we already bailed them out $12 billion and nobody is buying from farmers. Nobody is going to buy from the US farmers until maybe never. Did you know that he screwed over farmers in his first term?
We bailed them out over 60 billion in the first term and mark my words, nobody's buying from them for the next 3 years. We're going to be giving money to farmers handouts because they voted for Trump three times and this is going to come out of our pocket as opposed to selling to other countries. FAFO farmers in Iowa, Texas, Kansas, all over. Bankruptcies are skyrocketing for farmers, suicides.
It It's bad and they voted for this and a lot of them will say they still support Trump and would vote for him again.
>> [snorts] >> Farmers and truck drivers and really anybody reliant on diesel is being forced into making tough decisions. Here in Iowa and across the country as this war continues to drag on. They tell me that they are being pushed in many cases to their very limits.
>> You can't lose money year after year after year and keep the business going.
And that's the that's the scary part right now.
>> Many experts say that even if the war were to end immediately that many of these problems and elevated prices are going to last for weeks and and when it comes to farmers in particular, that might already affect next year's growing season.
>> Well, if farmers break, why then there's less food for everybody in the world.
You see all these farmers on TikTok complaining now about Trump who voted for Trump? It's funny how people don't care about something until it directly affects them. Countless farmers are on the verge of losing their farms. One guy has a wheat farm.
He's already lost $400,000 since Trump's been in office. Another guy has a sweet potato farm, 200 acres. He's already lost half a mil.
Farmers in our country are losing their government contracts. The government is reneging on the contracts they already have with these farmers, and these farmers depend on these contracts.
The agricultural sector relies on billions of dollars of government assistance for loans, grants, disaster relief, and conservation practices.
These programs have been around since FDR.
Now, federal judge already blocked the funding freeze that Trump instilled because it's against the law.
But, farmers around the country, they're telling they're telling us it's all over social media.
They're receiving letters saying the government is just not going to be able to fulfill their contracts.
These people are losing everything.
They're having to sell their cattle to survive and pay bills.
This is only the beginning. We're not even a month in.
Next up on the FAFO tour, Texas farmers.
One day these farms in Texas had hundreds of workers tending the fields and the livestock, and the very next day all of those workers are gone.
That's what is happening in Texas.
And entire fields of crops are being left to rot because there's no one to pick them. Livestock, like dairy cows, that have to be milked twice a day when they're lactating, there's no one to tend to them.
These farms are going to go under.
And it's not going to just affect Texas farmers. This is going to affect the breadbasket of the nation very soon.
Most of these farmers voted for the felon-in-chief.
Yeah. And now they are reaping what they have sown, quite literally.
Is America great yet?
And all of these red-faced conservative MAGA folk who have complained for years about these illegal immigrants are taking our jobs. It's funny, they're not lining up to go work out in these fields for that low pay out in the hot sun. And what's unspoken is many of these farmers and many of these racist thought that we black Americans were going to work out there because they have come to believe their own racist stereotypes and lies about black people.
And they did. They thought we were going to line up to go work in those fields.
Haha, tricks are for kids. Our ancestors already been there and done that and they were not paid at all. They were forced to work in fields, whipped, and tortured.
This is a new day.
And so I suggest everyone who has ever complained about illegal immigrants taking our jobs, you get you some 100 SPF sunscreen and get your ass out there in the fields if you want produce, period, in your grocery stores.
And think about this. This is going to have a ripple effect. Think about all the businesses that are vendors and customers of these farms.
There's no one to buy fertilizer, farm implements, pesticides, many restaurants that are farm-to-table.
Where are they going to get their meat and their produce?
Racism is expensive.
And it is going to be the ruin of this nation.
It's already playing out.
So, again, I ask, Maga, are we great again yet?
And when are y'all going to go out to Texas and all these other areas that need work and start working the fields, since you're a patriotic American?
I'm waiting to see when that's going to happen. But, I'm not going to hold my breath.
We are here at the FAFO stage.
Um this is really bad. Um And if you appreciate my content, please engage with this video.
I'm just going to read this to you.
Multiple Texas farms shut down after almost 100% of workforce vanishes overnight. In a stunningly swift overnight change, some Texas farm operations had to shut down after losing virtually all of their workforce. An exodus triggered by the increase in immigration raids and increased enforcement. The ripple effects of these raids are the gift that keeps on giving and will be felt nationwide.
Unpicked crops are now left unharvested.
Livestock were left unattended and rural economies are on edge. The story isn't just a tale of woe for Texas farms, it's a warning for American agribusiness, food prices, and communities that keep food on our plates.
I need you to share this with every Republican you know.
And you don't even need to wait for their response. They just need to know what's happening. And this is part of my line of work. I deal with commercial farmers, including these small farmers, as clients. And I cannot tell you how this is the beginning of the complete collapse of our economy under this Project 2025 administration that doesn't know what they're doing.
You talk about the immediate shuttering of farms, because this is actually what's happening.
with the food, with the harvest that are lying there completely rotting.
That is a loss of food to local food distributors, local grocery stores, local uh restaurants, hospitals. They sell their harvest, all sorts of vegetables, to businesses within the state of Texas.
This is where you can go into your local grocery store, and now you're going to see hardly any vegetables or fruit, depending on what they're growing, or a shortage of meat.
This is I was just given information that I think everyone needs to hear. I live here in Texas, and there are tons of ranchers that are near me. These ranchers are bringing up livestock, livestock that they sell to the grocery stores. I just finished having a really intense conversation with two ranchers that are based here in Texas. Yesterday, they went to a cattle auction. They were going there to buy some calves, and they paid $1,400 for the calves that they bought, each.
They told me that those same calves used to cost $80.
These ranchers are saying that they need to buy these calves so they can grow them up, and then they can produce more calves. They said that they have never ever purchased calves for this much money the entire time that they've been ranchers, and they've been ranchers for 40 straight years. Now, I didn't get directly into politics with them, but I can promise you, the way that they were talking, they are definitely worried.
Their warning to me was to make sure that my family is prepared for shortages. Now, I just wanted to pass that message on to you.
And I hope you listen.
Get you a deep freezer and go stock up all the food you need now. You can get a small one that fits inside of an apartment. They're less than $200 and just stock it up with beef because you're going to need to have it. Don't need to buy everything at once. Buy a little bit at a time, but the prices of beef are going to continue to rise.
And that is only one portion of our grocery store industry.
Regarding all these farmers that are now crying about possibly losing their farms because they voted for Trump, this is why you absolutely should not feel bad for any of these farmers that voted for Trump. Now, the ones that didn't vote, yes, feel sorry for them, go support them, do whatever you need to do, but the ones that voted for Trump, do not feel sorry for them and let me tell you why. I am a builder and I've been building [Ā __Ā ] in Oklahoma City going on like 20 years now and farmers are not stupid. If you have the ability to manage a farm and understand the weather, the climate, your machinery, the chemistry that goes into your crops, you are not a stupid person. You're just not. And especially when you come from generational farming, you have the ability to look ahead and predict what you need to survive. And so, when you have two candidates, where you have Kamala Harris on one side giving you a whole [Ā __Ā ] list of [Ā __Ā ] that she's going to do for you and make your life better, and then you have Trump on the other side who can't even come out with a normal sounding sentence, and you still vote for that guy and you are a farmer?
You are either racist or sexist or both.
And they're only crying now because now they are being treated exactly how they voted for other people to be treated.
Got that?
They are being treated how they voted for other minorities, people of color, everybody else, poor people, sick people. That's how they voted for other people to be treated.
And now they're the ones being treated that way, by losing their livelihood, their homes, their income, their farms.
So, do not feel sorry for them. This is exactly what they had coming.
Quick follow-up as to why exactly would Trump be doing this to farmers anyways?
And I'm guessing 99% chance it's because he wants to bankrupt farms so his corporate buddies can come in and do a land grab.
Basically, what you have been seeing the last few years, major companies buying up a bunch of rental houses and jacking up the price of rent, and it's all going to corporations. It's probably something similar to let these farms go to foreclosure and his corporate buddies be able to come in, swoop them up, and now you've got bigger companies involved in more of our day-to-day food.
All right, sweet convert.
You can see that uh majority of mega supporters are that our farmers are truly not happy with our President Donald Trump, and they have stated their obvious reasons.
And for me, uh the black actually warned them.
We actually warned them about about this, and yet they still went on to vote for President Donald Trump. Obviously, they have the right to vote, but what we are seeing right now is is is terrible. Yes, absolutely terrible. You know, many people are losing their farm lands in numbers.
Uh prices of gas went up.
Prices of fertilizer gone up. And obviously people are complaining of shortage of labor as a result of the operation by the ISIS. People are scared to work in their farm. Mostly immigrants that are not documented are scared to work in the farm. And these people are the people that labor in those fields. Right now, even the white folks are not ready to labor in those fields.
Obviously right now and the shortage of labor causing shortage of supplies from the farm.
Things are getting bad each day.
Each day and obviously it shows that the current administration of President Donald Trump is not doing anything to improve the agricultural sector.
And obviously and mega supporters are regretting right now. Obviously it's what they wished for and I hope that things will get better as soon as possible.
