At the end of the day, and that is at the core of this whole exercise here, we've been writing software for many years in a specific way. It has a lot of smells and a lot of bad problems, but one thing that I think generally speaking software does right is when you want to automate something and have it do the exact same thing over and over again, software is excellent for that.
