“Shame on Schiff” — Heated Political Clash Erupts Over Tulsi Gabbard Commentary

[00:00:00]Tulsi is a good, and honest, and transparent, and accountable woman. My prayers, I'm sending prayers up tonight for her family, for her husband who is gravely ill. And shame on Adam Schiff who wrote that disgusting tweet tonight. Just going after her after all of this. She needs time with her family. This is a very serious situation which requires, I think, a serious response and one that's heartfelt, one that's prayerful. That's what we do as Christians our country.

[00:00:31]He's just embarrassing and disgusting and just shame on him. And I my prayers are going to be with her and her husband tonight. I just went through cancer with my own father who passed away a few weeks ago.

[00:00:41]This is a very serious, a very the type of thing that is going to take all of her time, all of her heart, all of her effort, all of her prayers, and America is with her.

[00:00:52]What certainly condolences for your loss and Tulsi and her husband Abraham have an incredible marriage. It's awesome to see them together. They're a true partnership and and we join you in those prayers.

[00:01:06]You have made a central part of your service in Congress a disclosure of key information and also holding the deep state accountable. Nobody was fighting against the deep state within the administration harder than Tulsi Gabbard.

[00:01:19]Who do you look at now and say, you know, this is a person who's going to work with Congresswoman Mace to continue the transparency agenda?

[00:01:27]Well, we're going to see who Trump wants to appoint and who he believes would be the best person to lead that agency.

[00:01:34]Trump's been the most transparent president in American history as far as I'm concerned, whether it's the JFK files, the UAP files, everything. He wants everything out to the public. He wants it out right away. He's been very very direct about that and Tulsi has delivered. So, I'm looking to the president to see who he wants to appoint, who he believes will lead the agency like she did.

[00:01:58]Uh right now on Capitol Hill, the big scuttlebutt is about the 1.776 billion-dollar anti-weaponization fund.

[00:02:07]What's your perspective on the Justice Department using the settlement fund this way? And who do you think are are perhaps some deserving recipients?

[00:02:15]Well, when you see the weaponization that's happened in the government against our own citizens, it's really an abomination. And to know that it's been going on for years the way that we have treated some of our American citizens, some of our elected officials who were spied on illegally, um I'm okay with those individuals um having getting some help. I mean, I work with victims all the time here in South Carolina, and it can be really difficult to get justice, to get the truth out there when the deep state and the machine when the government is actually working against you. And I've worked with uh victims all across the state of South Carolina um that haven't had a fair shake. And if this levels the playing field, if this if this helps people who've um been harmed in a real way, then I say more power to you. Um if we didn't waste so much money in Minnesota on fraud in California, they're the fund would probably be a lot bigger.

[00:03:10]Uh I do want to get to the race for governor that's going on right now. Uh there's been a lot of spending in this race. Uh you are uh at or near the top of most of the polls I've seen. What are the issues that are defining the decision that that South Carolinians are making?

[00:03:26]Well, there are a lot of fake polls out there too too, as you know, and in Trump's era, there's just a lot of that.

[00:03:31]Um but in talking to voters, and I've been traveling the state for months now, the cost of living is still very difficult for many people, whether it's the rising cost of gas, the cost of groceries, uh taxes, insurance, you name it. And as a leading candidate for governor, I'm the only one with a detailed plan to eliminate some of those taxes. And Matt, you know this from working with me in Congress, but I'm a pro-prolific lawmaker. Every proposal I put forth as a candidate for governor, I wrote an adjacent bill to show you how I'd implement it. Because it's not enough these days to say, "This is what I want to do." You must show voters how you're going to do it, and that's why we're winning this race. That's why, Matt, they're spending millions and millions of dollars to smear me.

[00:04:13]Um they say I'm a never Trumper and I voted to impeach Trump, which is a lie.

[00:04:17]Um you know, I've been such a good ally of the president. In fact, when the war broke out in Iran, I was overseas in the Middle East uh rescuing South Carolina families who were stranded in Israel, and I called the president. I asked for a plane. I had one in the air with hundreds of American citizens evacuating within 2 days. And so, um yeah, I've got a great relationship with him, and I'm not going to stand for or tolerate any of these any of these lies, and I don't think the voters are either. They're done with politicians uh who say one thing and do another who and who just lie to get elected. And I'm very proud of my record. Um we have a lot of issues with roads and bridges and infrastructure and growth. We're the fastest-growing state in the nation right now. Uh right behind me is Myrtle Beach. Uh everyone from New York is moving down there.
