Which team are you on: Team Pipeline or Team Environment?

[00:00:00]What do you think of the job Prime Minister Mark Carney has done? I think the majority of Canadians like him. He's intelligent, articulate, and he gives Canada hope, but he does have some critics who believe he is leading Canada down the wrong path.

[00:00:17]And I wrote an article about this.

[00:00:20]Carney is trying to sell his build big and build fast economic agenda to Canadians. His government aims to secure Canada's sovereignty by accelerating major infrastructure projects and forging landmark agreements like the recent pipeline deal with Alberta.

[00:00:42]But this vision of rapid development is facing push back from British Columbia, the NDP, the Green Party, First Nation communities, and environmentalists. He's even facing push back from members of his own caucus.

[00:00:58]What do you think? Do you think Canada should be doubling down on fossil fuel as the world transitions to clean energy? Or do you think Canada should lead the way into a cleaner, more sustainable future?

[00:01:12]And don't listen to people like the former premere of Alberta, Jason Kenny, who says that anyone opposing pipelines wants to take us back to living in mud huts.

[00:01:23]The problem with his logic is that if we don't wean ourselves off fossil fuels fast and start developing clean energy infrastructure, we will all be living in mud huts because we will have destroyed the environment.
