[00:00:00]President Trump has wrapped up his high-stakes summit in China, calling it {quote} "very good." But it's hard to tell exactly what the takeaway is. CBS News senior White House and political correspondent Ed O'Keefe joins me now.

[00:00:11]Ed, what did the president's meeting with Xi Jinping accomplish? Major, at least one significant economic announcement. Boeing tonight says China has committed to buying 200 of its aircraft and likely more. A major reboot for the aviation giant's business in China. Beyond that, the president said he and China's Xi Jinping made {quote} "fantastic trade deals." But neither side has shared more details. On Iran, the president says Xi told him China isn't going to give military equipment to that country, but the Chinese have not yet signaled their intent. China, remember, is Iran's biggest oil customer. And Ed, the president also said on his way back to Washington that there might be some potential changes regarding the US relationship with Taiwan.

[00:00:54]Yeah, Taiwan has received tens of billions of dollars in American weapons since the late 1970s, but the president today wouldn't say if he'll approve another $14 billion in weapons to that country. And he said he might break almost 50 years of diplomatic norms and directly call Taiwan's leader to discuss the issue. American presidents don't usually do so so as to not upset the Chinese.
