This is a very important sample in this repository. The sample name is Khala Nimgaon meteorite. The fall took place in the year of 2025 on 3rd March.
The sample weight is around 280 g. It has a elliptical shape and in the uppermost layer some dark patchy fusion crust is visible and some small rounded chondrules are also present. So, this is the most recently discovered meteorite present in this national meteorite repository.
