This video documents an experimental orchard setup where 14 different apple tree varieties (Ann, Ein Shemer, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Honey Crisp, Lucy Rose, Granny Smith, Dorsett Golden, Gala, Fuji, Jonagold, Lucy Glo, Pink Lady, and Arkansas Black) are planted in Royse City, Texas using 3x3x1 foot raised beds with open bottoms to allow root penetration into native clay soil, testing whether apple trees can thrive in challenging Texas clay conditions.
