[00:00:00]I will host the BRICS foreign ministers' meeting in the national capital this week. The ministers will likely discuss issues pertaining to tensions in West Asia and the global energy crisis.

[00:00:11]Abhimanyu, what are you picking up?

[00:00:14]As uncertainty continues in West Asia, the all-important BRICS foreign ministers' meeting is slated to be held on the 14th and 15th of May in New Delhi. India's External Affairs Minister is going to chair the meeting. He's slated to hold bilateral meetings, too, with several visiting ministers, including the foreign ministers from Russia, Iran, Brazil, and South Africa.

[00:00:34]It remains to be seen what are going to be the issues which are going to be discussed as part of the overall event in which three sessions are slated to be held. Also, all foreign ministers who are participating are expected to meet India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, too. Now, three sessions would take place in the entire meet, and it's likely that issues like geopolitics, issues like energy security, and the West Asia crisis may also figure in discussions. China's Foreign Minister is not coming for the event as Donald Trump is in China right now, and instead China would be represented by its ambassador to India. So, all eyes, of course, would remain on the meet and what comes out of it, even as the West Asia crisis is still continuing.
