A film's effectiveness depends on its narrative structure, including clear storytelling, engaging dialogue, and resolution; when a movie lacks a definitive conclusion and relies too heavily on flashbacks over real-time scenes, it can frustrate audiences and reduce entertainment value despite having interesting concepts.

One Of The Most Overrated French Movies Ever MadeAñadido:
The two most overrated French movies may always be irreversible and a profit, but a movie I will be talking about today from 2005 called Kesh and hidden in the English title is also a movie that is indeed pretty overrated. I think the concept itself is interesting when you see this videotapes being delivered anonymously to this cattle by the doorstep. But I do not think it is well done because firstly a lot of what is filmed is the house and the sad house for several minutes at a time on the screen. instead of filming the capital and the reactions as they watch the videotapes, then the movie could have been more exciting because the way it is done here doesn't make it less engaging and I do not think this movie would have been done the same way if it was filmed today. Secondly, the movie could have benefited from a second opinion because when the main character accuses this immigrant looking character that was adapted into his family when it was child of delivering the videotapes, the drawings and terrorizing his family and he also accuses his son. That strong convincing feeling of the main character seems to hinder us from getting a fan conclusion because near the end when this accused man kills himself, we never know if he actually sent those video tips or not. We could in this case get a second candidate that could have done it as opposed to the son and a father. An open ending is in this case though a fan and mad makes sense as they have chosen this from the movie that make it more psychological but at the same time it is very frustrating that we do not know who did it. Additionally, I feel a lot of the stuff in the movie is pretty trivial and you see a lot of the everyday life, a big dinner party with guests. The conversations between the son and the family and generally a lot of the conversations between the characters are not that interesting, which of course hinders the movie from being that entertaining. Generally, there's some tension and dramatic scenes as the Juliet Bino character goes insane when the main character tells the truth when their son goes missing and they suspect that he is kidnapped. Here, the movie makes a less bold choice because it could have been a way darker and powerful movie if he actually came back from a kidnapping and you could see who the suspect was. Instead of that, he just randomly comes back and is driven home by this woman of a friend. And also, of course, when the main character threatens Mashid in this house, convinced that he is the one that did it. But bouts, these moments are few and far between and it is hard to be gripped and immersed. But what is happening for most part of the movie? I feel a movie also has that classic deeper meaning problem where you in this case try to create powerful scenes through flashbacks and vivid dreams of the main character but what happens in real time is pretty weak compared to what you create in the dreams. So either you would need to build a backstory better or you would need to make the real time scenes more interesting. But anyways, the real problem is, like I said, a lack of a final conclusion. And maybe this is a deeper movie about dealing with guilt, but it is not an entertaining movie about dealing with guilt. It is rather an average movie. I will give a five out of
