Leaked documents reveal that the United States, through diplomatic channels, played a role in the 2022 removal of Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, who was ousted via a no-confidence vote after refusing to meet CIA Director William Burns about using Pakistani territory as a base against Afghanistan and maintaining neutral stance on the Russia-Ukraine conflict; in exchange for this compliance, Pakistan received a $3 billion IMF bailout in July 2023 and continued US support despite subsequent military conflicts with India.

Imran Khan Ousted By US Conspiracy Confirmed? Ex-Pakistan PM Feared This & Now Documents Reveal...Added:
On April 9th, 2022, former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was forcefully ousted of his office through a no confidence vote.
Four years since PTI leader was thrown out, secret documents accessed by a US-based investigative outlet has brought back focus on one of the dark chapters of Islamic country and unmasked the nefarious plot that was at play in Islamabad.
The documents in question, also known as cypher, alleges a foreign hand in removal of cricketer turned politician.
They also reveal shocking conversations that took place between the then Pakistani ambassador and US diplomat.
Pakistan has been great. The field marshal and the prime minister of Pakistan have been absolutely great.
What can you tell us about the >> what is your message to President Xi as it relates to the Iran war? Well, I think number one, we're going to have a long talk about it.
Over the past one year, wheels of Pakistan's fortunes have turned in its favor.
Every now and then, IMF and some friendly countries bail it out. It is signing mutual defense agreements.
World's most powerful man finds people of Pakistan amazing. And now, it has emerged as a mediator between the US and Iran through which its top leaders claim country's global image has significantly transformed. Pakistan was reeling under tremendous economic pressure, faced deadly floods, visuals of a common Pakistani snatching food packets were going viral. And now, suddenly, it is one of the favorite countries of Donald Trump.
One might ask, how did Pakistan get here? Well, it would be amateurish to believe that it is because of Shahbaz Sharif government's diplomatic efficiency. The real story lies deep inside these documents.
At the heart of this episode, if this sensational document is to be believed, is an engineered ouster of an elected prime minister, a rigged election that followed, and a military takeover of a country.
The story dates back to an era which was completely different from what it is today.
United States was still in Afghanistan.
Russia was yet to invade Ukraine, and Imran Khan was ruling Pakistan. All this has been documented by the Drop Site news portal. Biden was elected as the US president in 2020, and took office in 2021. Khan, who shared a warm relation with Biden's predecessor Donald Trump, sought to forge a similar tie with Democrat leader. However, his repeated requests of a direct call with the US president were rejected. Weeks before Taliban officially took over in 2021, CIA Director William J. Burns went to Pakistan to meet Imran Khan.
The classified documents reveal that Burns wanted to secure a Pakistani territory to use as a base against Afghanistan. Khan simply refused to meet. Afghanistan fell to the Taliban, and we all saw the chaotic evacuation of the US.
While Khan was creating diplomatic Lakshman Rekha for the US, he was reportedly backstabbed by his own.
Pakistan's military thought Imran was isolating the country. Situation turned worse when Khan's Russia visit coincided with invasion of Ukraine. Days before Biden's NSA, Jake Sullivan, reached out to his Pakistani counterparts asking them to urge Khan to cancel this visit.
Once again, Khan denied.
Days later, Pakistan, in an attempt to emulate India and China, abstained from UNGA resolution that condemned the Russian invasion.
Imran Khan's neutral stance and repeated defiance rubbed the United States wrong way.
Leaked documents reveal that on March 7, 2022, Pakistan's ambassador to US, Asad Majeed Khan, met US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Donald Lu. Offer on table was very simple. Remove Imran Khan from Prime Minister's office through a no-confidence motion and all grievances would be set aside and all will be forgiven. Eventually, Khan was thrown out of power on April 9, 2022. His party was outlawed. It was stripped off its electoral symbol, barred from fielding candidates in the elections in 2024.
Khan was framed in several cases of corruption and national security.
He and his wife continue to remain incarcerated.
Pakistan happily complied. Pakistan was rewarded. In July 2023, IMF bailed it out with a loan of $3 billion.
Its massively rigged 2024 elections were ignored by the West. This was just one chapter of Pakistan's obedience to the United States. From reining in its military to curtailing its nuclear program to maintaining distance from China, US demanded, Pakistan conceded.
Now, connect the dots with present-day scenario.
How have Trump's favorite field marshal, Asim Munir, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif been rolling red carpet for the United States?
Ever since it was brutally battered in the four-day military conflict with India in May 2025, Pakistan has won the sympathy of Washington.
From rare earth minerals to cryptocurrency to committing troops to Gaza to joining board of peace, Pakistan has found a way to warm up to Washington.
And hence, given the sequence of these events, we can corroborate that it is reaping the benefits of its bootlicking.
