The GOP is dying. Here's how I think it goes down.

[00:00:00]Okay, I've had a little bit more time to sit with my thoughts following the primary elections yesterday, particularly when it comes to Republican losses and wins for Trump endorsed MAGA candidates. And yes, also Thomas Massiey's loss in Kentucky. I've just I I think I've I've got a better outlook on it than I did right after the election. Right after the election, I was really pissed at Kentucky Republican voters and I was like, "Did you not [ __ ] understand the assignment? your job was to vote for the candidate who wasn't a PDF file protector. Like that's that's all that you had to do was vote for the guy who's trying to get the Epstein files released and you you failed. And I understand that Thomas Massiey's race was the most expensive primary in US history because Apac poured millions and millions and millions of dollars into that race. That race, I think, highlights for all of the American people why we need Citizens United overturned, why we need corporate money, dark money, foreign money, Epstein class money out of our politics.

[00:01:04]And I think it really highlighted it for Republican voters because Massiey's loss I I really the more I think about it, the more I think that that is going to widen the fracture in MAGA. all of the anti-Appac, anti-Israel, um, you know, portions of the Republican party are flaming pissed at what happened. Also, have you taken a moment and looked on the libertarian pages and seen how they are freaking out over Massiey's loss? Right? These are libertarians who voted for Donald Trump.

[00:01:39]These are libertarians who vote for Republican candidates. So Massiey's race just highlighted so so strongly how bad the foreign interference is in our elections and there are an awful lot of Republicans who don't want Israel running our politics. I just saw that I was like, "Oh, that's just pouring some water in that fracture and just turning the temperature down to a hard freeze, right? That's just going to pop it right open." I'm going to read here from my notes because it's 12:30 in the morning and I want to make sure that I'm accurate this late at night. I have a tendency to pop off more than I should.

[00:02:16]So, let me let me refer to my notes here. By the way, I don't know if you follow June Cho. I follow him on Patreon and on Facebook. Um, he doesn't have as many followers as he should. I really like a lot of his very detailed total like nerding out analyses of things. And he's been talking about the results from the primary. He also talked about how Donald Trump endorsed Ken Paxton in Texas and that's not going to that's not going to go well for any Republican in Texas. His comment was, "Guys, don't worry too much about the primaries because it shows that only the cult is showing up to vote. It shows that Republicans who are not in the cult of MAGA are not like really they're not really motivated. They're not really motivated to show up. And so you see MAGA candidates win in primaries. Oh gosh, sorry. I had to sneeze. Okay. Um, while you see MAGA candidates win in primaries, it means that overall the kind of independent voters who swing Republican and the moderate Republicans, the establishment Republicans, like they either don't like what the Republican party is doing, so they're not bothering to vote in primaries, or they're like they're they're just not particularly motivated. They're either indifferent, apathetic, or they're they're pissed off. And so who you see showing up to vote in primaries are the hardcore cult of MAGA who worship Donald Trump like a golden calf who are desperate for a chance to lick his boots. And when we look at Massie in particular, they voted out the guy who was trying to get justice for the victims of Jeffrey Epstein, the guy who was trying to have investigations and prosecutions for PDF files. voted that guy out in favor of the guy who is endorsed by Donald Trump, who is engaging in an active cover up of the Epstein files and protecting PDF files. I said in my notes here that the Republican party has decided to make itself a white Christian nationalist PDF file protector party, a party that is nothing more than corruption and hate.

[00:04:18]As June Cho, I think that's a nom dlume by the way, said that moving MAGA more and more extreme as Donald Trump is endorsing more and more extreme candidates and only the most loyal members of MAGA can stomach voting for those guys in supporting Donald Trump anymore. Moving the Republican party more and more extreme to make it an openly proed party is going to kill the Republican party. I think that's true. I think that's true. I think we're watching the Republican party start to eat themselves alive, start to slowly cannibalize themselves and they're going to become a party that is so incredibly fringe and extreme and radical that most people won't want to support them. I know there is that diehard cult. I get people in my comments all the time, by the way, who say, "How is it that like 30% of Americans, 25% of Americans can support this vile thing or that vile thing or Donald Trump?" In any any population, it's really common to get a big chunk of people who are just crazy, who are just indoctrinated in far-right ideology. That's that's pretty normal, right? We're never going to get I mean, maybe maybe Donald Trump will become so unpopular that, you know, like 10 or 14% of the American populace is like okay with him. But I think it's much more realistic to see that number not really dip below 25% at all because there's always going to be there's always going to be that group of people. But that's not enough to win elections. That's not enough to gain power. If we all turn out and vote, we can easily overpower all of them, especially because statistically most of them are old white people, right? Um older Gen X and boomers and mostly men, retirees who just sit and spew hate on Facebook all day long. They get in my comments and be like, "Nose ring theory. Oh, you must smell like boxed wine and cat piss." Like, this is what these men do all day long.

[00:06:12]Unfortunately, they also do show up and vote. So, it's really important for us to get out and vote in much larger numbers. We have to have the election be too big to rig and we have to actually overpower all of the proto party folks who will turn out and vote. And this actually has me thinking about the long-term consequences for American politics. to kind of have still an entrenched two-party system. So, what happens when the Republican party becomes so fringe, so radical that most Americans cannot stomach them, don't want to vote for them, and they're looking for somewhere else to go, but they have conservative values or maybe they're, you know, they have all of their big business valoates Americans to believe, pro-f family values and also like pro- capitalism. It is really laughable to think that the Republican party 15 years ago was the party of small government and no national debt because look look at what they've done now. So if the Republican party is pushing itself or letting Donald Trump push it to a point where it is so extreme, so fringe that it cannot garner the votes. It doesn't have the influence. They start to lose national elections at a significant clip. Right.

[00:07:25]Yeah. They're trying they're trying to disenfranchise millions of black voters through destroying the Voting Rights Act. The Roberts Court is tr trying to cement white Christian nationalism in this country. But there is a point at which the Republican party becomes like just impossible for people to support.

[00:07:43]They become so vile and so untenable.

[00:07:46]And with this election, they're clearly saying like we we are pro we are the pro pedo party. We are the party that protects the Epstein class. We are the pro-corruption party. So what does that mean for our politics? I I kind of think I don't know. I was looking at this race in Pennsylvania. Like I kind of think with Corey Booker endorsing the pro-APAC Democrat and then the DSA candidate actually winning. I kind of think if the Democratic Party might become the two new major part, maybe I'm totally off base, but like I think the Democratic Party could see a real schism, a real split and become the two new major parties. The Democratic Party is like the new Republican party and then the progressives become the new Democratic party, but without without all of the crypto money and Apac money and big oil money and big pharma money and Epstein class billionaire without without all of the neoliberalism, right? like there becomes a neoliberal party and a progressive party, right? Do Cy Booker and Ruben Ggo and all of those established Democrats become the new neoliberal party and the Democratic Party becomes a progressive party or do the progressives launch themselves off and become like the DSA or like right they morph into a national level DSA party or something like that because it's clear to me that the schism is there in the Democratic party as much as there is a fracturing of the Republican party into like five different factions there's a real strong schism as the old establishment Democrats are desperate to hold on to power and their corporate do donors and foreign donors are desperate to keep them in power. But the people want progressives. They want a workers over billionaires. They want a labor party. I mean, tell me if you think I'm off base here, but Republicans are differentiating themselves from traditional American politics to make themselves so extreme. They are an apocalyptic death cult that supports PDF files and open corruption. That's not sustainable. That's so radical and fringe and extreme that they're going to drive themselves to extinction. So, what comes in and fills that power vacuum?

[00:09:49]What are the two new power players in American politics? I kind of think neoliberal Democrats and progressives.
