2027: Gov. Sule Optimistic Of Pres. Tinubu’s Victory, Calls for Unity Among APC Members

[00:00:00]Well, we're getting reactions now to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's emergence as flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress. The governor of uh uh Governor Abdullahi Sule says he is confident that the president will be returned for second term in 2027.

[00:00:15]Governor Sule of Nasarawa State said this on uh news program, Newsweek, earlier today.

[00:00:22]Uh he explained that the 10 million-plus votes is a reflection of the e-registration of party members done recently. He called for unity among party members ahead of the polls.

[00:00:34]All these numbers are coming from the e-registration.

[00:00:37]You know, if you remember, APC had far more than 12 million uh registered members before the e-registration started. So, now with the e-registration, we have a little over 12 million uh members. And it's out of that that almost 11 million actually came out and voted for Mr. President. So, you have to look at it from that angle. So, that is actually a a a conviction, you know, from the part of uh the party that we believe in the president, we endorse the president, and we believe in the line that he is uh going in the right direction. So, so that's one that's So, that's a confirmation, really, of the the party's belief in his policies, in his person, and everything that he is doing. So, that's on one side. You know, on the other part that uh you are talking about the uh general public, if it was an open election, you know, we are hoping that he would get even more than that because there will be people who are not members of the APC that have benefited in one way or the other from the programs that you have.
