Again, the common phrase is, "Don't tell me your priorities, show me your budget and I'll tell you your priorities." We walk through what she calls priority one, and that is public safety, the addition of what she wants to see, five new positions with veteran officers in the Knoxville Police Department. That comes on the heels of something that's quite remarkable, a full staff for the police department, and also zero homicides for the first four months of the year. We talked to the mayor about what she says is working, and also what's to come for this budget that is in the hands of Knoxville City Council right now.
