My beloved sons and daughters, have you ever prayed until your voice [music] cracked, until your tears soaked the pillow, until you felt there was nothing left to say, and still nothing happened?

[00:29:03]You fasted. You waited. You believed.

[00:29:07]And yet, the door stayed shut. The healing didn't come. The breakthrough never arrived.

[00:29:15]You began to wonder if heaven was ignoring you.

[00:29:18]If God had denied your request. If perhaps you were unworthy of what [music] you asked. But hear this today, God is not denying you.

[00:29:28]God is preparing you. Too often we mistake [music] divine preparation for divine rejection.

[00:29:35]When it feels like [music] nothing is moving, God is often moving the most. When it seems like you're going backward, God is actually [music] pulling you back like an arrow, cuz you're about to be launched forward. What you call delay, God calls development. [music] What you perceive as silence, God calls setup.

[00:29:54]You see denial, [music] he sees a foundation being laid for something greater than what you even imagine. The enemy wants you to believe that God's not yet [music] means no. He whispers lies that twist your faith, that drain your endurance, that make you question if God is even listening.

[00:30:11]But I came [music] to tell you, the waiting is not punishment.

[00:30:16]It's preparation.

[00:30:18]God is sharpening your character, strengthening your endurance, stretching your faith, because what he's preparing you for requires more than what you currently carry. You asked for a blessing, God's preparing you to be the kind of person who can hold it, protect it, and not lose it. And before we go any further, I want you to look into the depths of your own soul and ask, do I trust God even when he doesn't give me what I asked for when I asked for it?" That answer right there will reveal the difference between those who follow God for comfort and those who follow him through fire.

[00:31:02]That's the message.

[00:31:04]That's the revelation.

[00:31:06]And if you don't understand this, you'll misinterpret your entire season.

[00:31:12]You'll see closed doors as rejection.

[00:31:15]You'll see unanswered prayers as abandonment.

[00:31:18]You'll start believing that God favors others more than you. You'll stop praying. You'll stop believing.

[00:31:25]And you'll start walking in spiritual frustration instead of spiritual formation.

[00:31:31]But the truth is this, God loves you too much to give you something that will crush you.

[00:31:37]He knows what you're not ready for.

[00:31:41]He knows what will break you before it blesses you.

[00:31:45]He knows what will tempt you before it transforms you.

[00:31:50]And he knows how to hold back the thing you want so he can build up the person you need to become.

[00:31:58]At number three, think of Joseph. He saw the dream at 17, but he didn't step into the palace [music] until years of betrayal, prison, and silence passed.

[00:32:08]Was God denying Joseph? No, God was preparing Joseph because the palace required a man who knew how to forgive.

[00:32:17]A man who knew how to interpret dreams with humility. A man who had been through crushing enough to carry the weight of national destiny. Had God given Joseph the throne without the prison, he would have been too arrogant to handle it. Too fragile to hold it.

[00:32:33]Too immature to sustain it.

[00:32:36]But the delay was the lesson.

[00:32:39]The prison was the preparation.

[00:32:42]The silence >> [music] >> was the sanctification.

[00:32:45]And the promotion came right on time.

[00:32:49]>> [music] >> God's time.

[00:32:52]Some of you are asking God for things your character hasn't caught up with.

[00:32:55]You want influence, but can your ego handle the applause? You want marriage, but are you willing to love when it's hard, when it's lonely, when it costs you your pride? You want ministry, but can [music] you preach with power when nobody collabs, when nobody sees you, when the spirit convicts you before you open your mouth? You say you're ready, but God sees what's in [music] you that still needs breaking.

[00:33:18]So, the delay is not denial, [music] it's mercy. It's molding. It's the hand of God taking his time to shape you in the secret place, so you don't [music] crumble in the spotlight. Everyone wants elevation, but few are willing to embrace the isolation that [music] comes before it.

[00:33:35]God doesn't microwave purpose. He bakes [music] it slow. And some of you are in the oven right now. Hot, uncomfortable, confused.

[00:33:45]But if you come out [music] too soon, you won't be fully formed. Stay in the fire.

[00:33:52]Let it refine you.

[00:33:54]Because what God is preparing you for requires durability.

[00:34:01]It requires depth.

[00:34:03]It requires a foundation that shallow faith can't support.

[00:34:09]You've been asking for the blessing. God has been answering with becoming.

[00:34:14]You've been asking for the next level.

[00:34:15]God has been digging your roots deeper.

[00:34:18]You've been asking to go forward. God has been pulling you aside to build the muscles you'll need for the weight of what's coming. [music] Don't mistake stillness for abandonment.

[00:34:29]Don't confuse discipline with distance.

[00:34:32]God is not far from you.

[00:34:35]He's nearer than he's ever been, whispering, working, weaving every moment together for your good and his glory.

[00:34:44]But you must trust the process.

[00:34:47]You must believe that his delay is love in disguise. Because when the day comes, and it will come, when he opens the floodgates and pours out what you waited for, you'll look back and say, "If he had given it to me then I would have ruined it."

[00:35:02]But now, I'm ready.

[00:35:06]So, hear this again. God is not denying you. God is preparing you. And if you can receive that, not just in your mind, but in your spirit, you'll walk through this season not with frustration, but with expectation.

[00:35:28]Because you'll know, this is not the end. This is the becoming.

[00:35:35]"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a future and a hope."

[00:35:50]That's the eternal voice of God speaking through generations. When God said those words to Israel, they were in exile.

[00:35:59]Not comfort, not celebration, captivity.

[00:36:05]Their cities were destroyed, their temple in ruins, their hearts were crushed. And in the middle of that chaos, God says, "I still have plans for you. Not to destroy you, not to abandon you, but to prosper you."

[00:36:18]Do you see it now? God's plan often unfolds in places that feel like punishment, but it's not punishment, it's positioning.

[00:36:28]God said to his people, "You'll be here for 70 years.

[00:36:33]But after that, I will bring you back and fulfill every word I spoke over you."

[00:36:38]They wanted escape.

[00:36:40]God was working endurance. They prayed for rescue.

[00:36:43]God was building roots.

[00:36:45]Because the promise still stood, but it had a schedule.

[00:36:49]And you cannot rush the timing of a perfect God.

[00:36:56]Look at Joseph again.

[00:36:58]Genesis 50:20.

[00:37:01]"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."

[00:37:10]He said this to the very brothers who betrayed him.

[00:37:14]That's not a bitter man talking. That's a prepared man speaking.

[00:37:19]A man who had been shaped, not just saved.

[00:37:22]A man who understood that what looked like destruction was actually divine orchestration.

[00:37:28]You want New Testament proof? Let's talk about Jesus.

[00:37:32]Even Christ, the son of God, waited 30 years before [music] beginning his ministry.

[00:37:37]Was he not ready at 12 when he was in the temple astonishing teachers?

[00:37:42]He was ready, but timing wasn't.

[00:37:45]The Father had an appointed hour.

[00:37:48]And until then, Jesus stayed hidden, growing in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and men. If the son of God submitted to preparation, why do we despise the process?

[00:38:03]Galatians 4:4 [music] says, "But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his son."

[00:38:08]Not before, not late, but at the fullness.

[00:38:13]Because God doesn't [music] bless partial readiness.

[00:38:16]He waits for fullness, completion, wholeness.

[00:38:21]And for some of you, that's what he's doing right now.

[00:38:25]You're not being overlooked.

[00:38:27]You're being filled.

[00:38:29]You're not being denied. You're being developed.

[00:38:32]So, the [music] next time you're tempted to believe God has forgotten you, open the word.

[00:38:38]Read his pattern.

[00:38:40]He never rushes greatness.

[00:38:43]He never shortcuts maturity.

[00:38:45]Every promise he made came to pass, [music] but only after the preparation was complete. Waiting is one of the hardest [music] things a believer will ever do.

[00:38:56]Not because God isn't faithful, but because we don't see what [music] he's doing.

[00:39:03]We are a generation that hates silence.

[00:39:06]We measure progress [music] by movement.

[00:39:10]We equate absence with abandonment.

[00:39:12][music] And when God doesn't move on our timeline, we assume he's not moving at all.

[00:39:21]It's [music] a process. And that process reveals your heart more than the promise ever will. Some of you are angry at God because you think he said no, but the truth is, he's still writing the yes.

[00:39:38]You're doubting the author before the climax. And what you call delay is actually [music] divine patience.

[00:39:46]Waiting for you to be ready for what you asked for.

[00:40:06]Seeds don't grow in sunlight alone.

[00:40:24]She cried in the temple so desperately that the priest thought she was drunk.

[00:40:30]She had prayed for a child year after year watching others be blessed while her womb remained closed.

[00:40:38]But what she didn't know was that God wasn't just giving her a child. He was preparing her to birth a prophet.

[00:40:47]Samuel would anoint kings.

[00:40:50]He would shift nations.

[00:40:52]And that kind of calling requires a mother who knows what it means to weep before the Lord. The delay wasn't denial.

[00:41:04]Some of you're asking, "Why is it taking so long?" Because what God is birthing through you isn't normal. It's not casual. It's not common. It's kingdom.

[00:41:16]And kingdom assignments require kingdom endurance.

[00:41:20]So don't curse the delay.

[00:41:23]Don't abort the process.

[00:41:26]Don't let your feelings lie to your faith.

[00:41:29]The ache you feel, the loneliness, the frustration, the silence, it's valid, but it's not the truth. The truth is this, God is with you.

[00:41:43]How to listen. How to last. You're learning how to worship without rewards.

[00:41:49]How to trust without evidence. How to wait without compromise.

[00:41:55]And that kind of waiting turns ordinary believers into unshakable warriors.

[00:42:03]Hold on when nothing makes sense.

[00:42:05]Hold on when every prayer seems unanswered. Hold on when your faith is hanging by a thread because in the waiting you're not being weakened.

[00:42:19]Knit together by the hands of the potter, stretched, shaped, smoothed.

[00:42:25]And when he's done you'll be ready for the very thing you thought he denied. Preparation doesn't feel holy, it feels hard. It's not poetic, it's painful. It's the part of your story nobody claps for.

[00:42:38]The secret tears, [music] the silent trials, the hidden disappointments, the dreams that seem to rot in darkness.

[00:42:47]But this is how God works. He builds people in obscurity before he reveals them in glory.

[00:42:53]You're praying for the platform.

[00:42:55]God is hammering away at your foundation because what's built too fast will fall just as quickly.

[00:43:02]Look at David.

[00:43:03]Anointed king as a teenager. But what did God do next? Did [music] he rush him to the throne? No. He sent him back to the pasture, back to feeding sheep, back to fighting lions and bears in the dark while no one was watching.

[00:43:17]Why?

[00:43:18]Because thrones require more than oil, they require character.

[00:43:23]You can't lead armies if you can't endure [music] isolation.

[00:43:27]You can't wear a crown if you collapse under criticism. And God will never promote [music] what your character can't support. So he sends you into the wilderness not to punish you but to prepare you. You're crying over the job that didn't come through, but God saw the pride in you that would have been fleeting.

[00:43:47]You're weeping over the relationship that ended, but God saw the broken [music] places in you that would have bled on them.

[00:43:54]You're frustrated that ministry doors haven't opened, but God sees the insecurity you hide behind sermons.

[00:44:00]He knows what the spotlight can expose and what it can destroy.

[00:44:05]So before he shows you off he strips you down. Before he gives you power, he teaches you purity. Before he gives you visibility, he instills a vision. Oh, God's process is flow on purpose, because he's not interested in building someone that's just impressive to people.

[00:44:24]He's building someone that's useful to him. And usefulness doesn't [music] come from talent, it comes from trust, from testing, from trial, from falling down and getting [music] back up, from learning obedience not through blessings, but through suffering.

[00:44:41]That's the word. [music] Though he were a son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered. Hebrews 5:8. So if it feels like God [music] is crushing you, know this. He crushes grapes to make wine. He refines gold through fire. He strengthens muscle by resistance, and he builds leaders through loss. Not to destroy them, but to develop them.

[00:45:04]You're not being broken without purpose.

[00:45:07]You're being broken so you can be poured out.

[00:45:10]Because empty vessels don't leak, they overflow.

[00:45:14]And God is making sure you just carry a blessing, but that you become a blessing. Don't fight the fire.

[00:45:23]Don't resent the pressure. This is God's holy workshop, the sacred forge of your future. What you learn here, patience, humility, endurance, will be the very things that sustain you when the promise is fulfilled. He's not withholding, he's equipping. You're not being overlooked, you're being overhauled.

[00:45:43]And when it's time, when you're ready, not when you say you're ready, but when he says it, you won't have to knock the door down. The door will open on its own.

[00:45:55]You've been asking God, why hasn't it happened yet? But today I challenge you to change the question. Stop asking why it hasn't come and start asking what is God doing in me while I wait.

[00:46:10]That one question will transform your entire season.

[00:46:15]Because most people want relief.

[00:46:18]But God wants refinement. You want arrival, but God wants alignment. You want fruit, but God is still digging at the roots.

[00:46:26]And if you don't shift your perspective, you will misread the season and abort the process. You'll call it punishment.

[00:46:32]God calls it pruning. You'll call it stuck. God calls it stillness. And let me tell you something, some of the greatest moves of God in your life will begin not with motion, but with stillness.

[00:46:46]God said, "Be still and know that I am God." Not run around, panic, post about it, call everybody, scroll for distraction. No. Be still. Why?

[00:46:55]Because stillness reveals your source.

[00:46:59]It strips away your control.

[00:47:01]It forces you to face what you actually believe.

[00:47:05]When you can't manipulate the outcome, when you can't make it happen, when you've done everything you know how to do, and nothing shifts, do you still trust him? This is a season where God confronts your motives.

[00:47:19]Did you want the blessing more than the blesser?

[00:47:22]Did you want the breakthrough or the intimacy that only the waiting can bring?

[00:47:28]See, God isn't just trying to answer your prayer. He's trying to transform your posture.

[00:47:34]That's why he'll delay the answer until your pride has bowed, your will has bent, and your heart has yielded.

[00:47:42]Because what good is the promise if you lose your soul in the process?

[00:47:46]What good is promotion [music] if you forget the one who promoted you?

[00:47:51]And what good is purpose if it drives you away from the very presence that sustains it.

[00:47:58]That's why he'll keep you in the wilderness, not to torture you, but to teach you.

[00:48:05]He's not just trying to get something to you.

[00:48:07]He's trying to build something in you.

[00:48:10]But here's the shift.

[00:48:12]Stop measuring God's love by the speed of [music] your answered prayers.

[00:48:17]Start measuring it by the depth of your transformation.

[00:48:21]If he hasn't moved yet, it's not because he's late.

[00:48:27]It's because [music] he's not finished.

[00:48:29]And when you come out of this, you won't just receive what you prayed for.

[00:48:34]You'll be the kind of person who can protect it, sustain it, and multiply it.

[00:48:41]You thought God was holding you back, but he's actually [music] holding you up, strengthening your legs, stabilizing your heart, anchoring your soul, because where you're going isn't for the faint [music] of heart. You asked for more.

[00:48:55]More influence, more anointing, more favor, and God heard you.

[00:49:00]But more requires [music] maturity.

[00:49:03]And maturity doesn't come from speed. It comes from surrender.

[00:49:08]So, today, let go of the timeline, lay down your expectations, [music] and pick up your cross.

[00:49:15]Because when you finally stop chasing the blessing, and start chasing [music] the blesser, you'll realize the waiting wasn't a waste.

[00:49:54]For the believer who gave everything and yet the door didn't open. This is for you. You are not [music] forgotten.

[00:50:01]You are not left behind. You are not denied. You are being prepared.

[00:50:06]You prayed for the job and it didn't come and now you're wondering if you [music] missed God. You didn't it.

[00:50:14]God is refining you in this season not to embarrass you, but to expand you.

[00:50:20]You cried over the relationship that ended and you thought wasn't that the one?

[00:50:25]But God saw what you couldn't see.

[00:50:28]What it would become 5 years from now.

[00:50:30]He cut it now to protect your future.

[00:50:33]That closed door saved you from a lifetime of compromise. That no was really mercy in disguise.

[00:50:43]Some of you have been serving in silence. You give, you help, you pour out but nobody sees you.

[00:50:50]Nobody celebrates you, but let me remind you heaven sees what people overlook.

[00:50:57]The applause of men fades, but the reward of God is eternal. When no one else acknowledges you, he does and he never forgets the seed sown in secret. In fact the word says your father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Matthew 6:6.

[00:51:18]And let's talk about timing cuz that's where the real struggle lives.

[00:51:23]You thought by now >> [music] >> it would have happened. You had a plan, a timeline, a vision board, but things didn't unfold like you imagined. And now you're standing in the middle of an unfinished promise wondering if it was all a mistake.

[00:51:42]God's plans are not bound by your calendar.

[00:51:46]Just because it didn't happen when you thought doesn't mean it won't happen at all.

[00:51:51]God's delays are not his denials. They are [music] divine pauses with purpose.

[00:51:56]That delay might have protected your peace. That wait might have spared you from spiritual warfare you weren't ready to handle. That prolonged process might be the very thing strengthening [music] your roots so your future doesn't collapse under pressure.

[00:53:59]The crushing, the pressing, it's producing an oil in you that can't be faked, an anointing that only comes from fire and faithfulness.

[00:54:12]Now, get ready for the downpour. You've worshipped with tears. Now, prepare to worship with testimony. You've endured the night. Now, morning is on the way.

[00:54:22]Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

[00:54:26]And when your morning breaks, it won't be a drizzle.

[00:54:31]It'll be a flood.

[00:54:34]God will pour out what you couldn't earn, what you couldn't make happen, what you nearly gave up on.

[00:54:41]Hear this in your soul. Your latter days will be greater than your former. You will laugh again. You will dance again.

[00:56:27]Now that you've heard this word, the question is no longer, why is God making me wait? The question is, will I trust him in the middle?

[00:56:35]Because real faith isn't proven on the mountain top, it's proven in the valley.

[00:56:47]He's raising up a generation that will say, "Though he slay me, yet will I trust him."

[00:57:37]Abraham [music] left home without knowing where he was going. Moses stretched a rod over water before it parted. And Jesus carried a cross before the resurrection came. [music] If you're waiting to obey until it's easy, you'll never move. But if you can obey when it's painful, [music] when it costs you, when it looks foolish, that's the kind of obedience that shakes heaven. So, what is God asking you to do in this season of preparation?
