[00:12:48]>> Let's now take a look uh at the decisions that have been taken uh by Vijay right after he assumed charge and became the chief minister of Tamil Nadu.

[00:12:58]These are the orders. Order number one 200 units free electricity for all households. Number two, special task force to be formed against drug menace.

[00:13:09]Similarly, he's also uh ensured that there's a special task force that's dedicated to work for women's safety, dedicated women safety force in the state of Tamil Nadu. These are the first three orders that Vijay as the chief minister has given to his administration.

[00:13:27]Rahul Gandhi's presence on stage during the oath ceremony was not ceremonial. It was political. The Congress with its five MLAs played a crucial role in Vijay's government formation. Without Congress support, without the left, without VCK and IUML, Vijay could not have comfortably crossed the majority mark. So the image of Vijay and Rahul Gandhi together is a message to uh the audience there to Tamil Nadu that is a secular coalition to the DMK that its allies are no longer fully locked in and to national politics that Vijay may now become a major southern axis in the anti-BJP space. But there is a twist.

[00:14:03]DMK says Vijay became chief minister because its allies helped him. Congress says it is a it is supporting a secular progressive government. VCK and IML are backing Vijay without completely burning bridges with the DMK. This is a delicate coalition tango. Vijay has won the chair has taken oath as CM but now he has to manage the strings. On the sidelines, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has attacked Congress for dumping its old ally DMK for political gains and selfishness.
