Waymo issues recall over ability to handle flooded streets

The company says it launched its own safety review after an incident in San Antonio when a Whimo detected potentially untraversible flood water and proceeded at reduced speed. No one was hurt. About 3,800 vehicles impacted.

The company publishing safety data on its website that says its robot drivers have 82% fewer injury-causing crashes than human drivers.

Like how can you possibly map out all the million different scenarios that could happen on the road? The data is the data, but you know when it encounters something, can it is it smart enough to fix it? We we can only see when when they actually roll out on the roads.
