The video mistakes cherry-picked optics for a definitive political shift, offering partisan comfort rather than a serious analysis of voter behavior. It is a typical example of intellectual overconfidence ignoring the messy reality of populist movements.

Trump Posts Collapse As Empty Rally Crowd Photos Leak OutAdded:
It is not that Donald Trump is just the most unpopular president in American history. It is that he is growing increasingly unpopular with his own base. Now, I'm not just saying that some Republicans are waking up to the fact that Donald Trump is a pedto protector who's destroying this country on behalf of the top 0.01% and Israel. I'm not just talking about those Republicans.
I'm talking about the dieh hard cultist, the wear the hats, wave the flags, go to the boat parade, storm the capital.
Those people are leaving Donald Trump, which means that Donald Trump's events aren't as full with those people because they are the ones who show up. This is why Donald Trump canled on CPAC. This is why Donald Trump does fewer public events. And this is why Donald Trump is melting down and posting a freakout over photos that leaked of his empty crowd.
We are going to get into it all. But unfortunately for Donald Trump, it starts with a conversation I have been waiting since the 2024 election to have.
Young people are fleeing the Republican party. Young voters my generation shun Trump plan to vote blue in the midterms.
poll says the 2026 midterm elections are less than 7 months away and a newly released national poll indicates the youngest contingent of eligible voters could lean toward shunning the president and embracing the Democratic party. For Donald Trump, the results of Yale's youth poll show young voters in particular overwhelmingly disapprove of the president's performance. More than twothirds of voters between 18 and 34 expressed disapproval of the 47th president in the poll, eclipsing the president's overall approval rating.
Large majorities of voters aged 18 to 22, 68%, 23 to 29, 72%, and 30 to 34.
75% expressed disapproval of Trump's performance. in each of these age brackets. That represents a doubledigit difference from the president's 57% disapproval rating among all voters aged 18 and up, according to the poll's results. But the decrease in approval is especially notable among young voters within the roughly 5 month span. Among 18 to 22 year olds, the percentage of voters who are unhappy with the president's performance has risen by four percentage points. among voters aged 23 to 29 and those aged 30 to 34.
The jump is even higher with 7% and 11% increases in disapproval, respectively.
So that polling doesn't just tell you that Donald Trump is seeing his support with young voters collapse. Support that was key to him winning the presidency in 2024. But what's also interesting about those breakdowns is that you see a greater shift against Trump with older people in the younger demo, right? Older young people, if you know what I'm saying, like if you catch my like the framing there, people who are 18 to 22 aren't as susceptible to how painful this economy is. They're not feeling the pain like someone who is 28 to 33. So that's not just telling us that young voters hate Trump, but young voters who are feeling the economic pressure that Donald Trump has created especially hate him. Which is why my advice to politicians who ever ask me about oh what should I appeal to young people.
It's not it's not just like you don't just like wear sneakers and say like 67 like this stupid that that's not how you appeal to young people. You talk about economic economic issues. That is what matters to a generation, my generation facing like the worst job opportunities, the worst job market maybe in American history. Well, I maybe since the depression, but you know, Donald Trump loves to cause his own. But it's not just with young people. It is also at the other core contingency that Donald Trump needs. It is the reason that his rally was so empty that we're going to get into. Megan Kelly broke it down.
Actually, >> I don't know what he's doing, but the the president is spiraling downward in his poll numbers. He is on a downward spiral now. And we'll talk about in a minute what's happening with the white working class. That's Trump's base. And he's now underwater with them. We saw one poll about 7 to 10 days ago showing it. And now there's another. There's no question he's collapsed now with the white working class. My friends, that's it. Other than Fox News boomers, there's no one left.
There's no one left in the original MAGA coalition. White working class.
I really look forward to the people who purport to speak for the white working class. People who have written whole books about the working class and what's important to them. People who have been ripping on the so-called podcast class for being critical of this war and how they're completely irrelevant and no one listens to them. I really look forward to those people updating their reporting to tell us what's actually happening among the Trump base. Now, >> Donald Trump is seeing his support collapse with young men and and the nonfox news viewing workingclass, non-educated white voter. That was like the big base of support for Donald Trump. Those are the people coming out to the rallies.
Those are the people waving the flags and no more. And that is why when Donald Trump showed up to Turning Point USA yesterday to uh beg for praise and grab at Erica Kirk, the crowd was empty.
Trump came to Arizona to rally young voters. An older crowd greeted him.
Despite empty seats, Trump projected confidence. This is ridiculous. And as a party's ability to win the midterms, some of the crowd focused on GOP divisions. Phoenix. The megaurch in Phoenix was supposed to be a venue for Donald Trump to drum up support among the young voters who helped deliver him to the Oval Office. Instead, he found an audience whose members skewed older and were focused on divisions within their own party. "I want to thank all the young people," Trump said as he opened up his speech in the sanctuary at Dream City Church, where the president has given several addresses historically to a packed room Friday. While several thousand voters of all ages whooped and cheered for the president, there were notably empty seats. Ooh, empty seats.
Empty seats. Empty seats for Donald Trump. Quite frankly, I've never seen so many young people, he insisted, telling a lie. Friday's rally was Trump's first in-person appearance at a Turning Point USA event since late 2024. The intervening time was marked by the killing of the group's leader, Charlie Kirk. Trump traveled here to the spiritual heartland of Turning Point Movement to address a slice of his base that polling warns is drifting away from him. A CBS Yuggov poll last week found that 70% of adults under the age of 30 disapprove of Donald Trump's leadership.
More than 60% said they disapproved of his handling of the economy and Iran. A spokesperson for Turning Point USA said that more than 3,000 people attended the event. Although that doesn't sound like a packed crowd to me considering the church holds approximately 45,000 people. So, as you can see, couple of empty seats. Not everyone fired up. Not the crowd that Donald Trump usually wants. It's a little sparse. You know, they got the lights going and the pyrochnics and everything, but there's just a lot of empty seats. And it's not all young people. We're seeing a lot of older people in the crowd. Donald Trump is losing his support. And because Donald Trump feels himself losing that support, we saw him post this last night after looking out into a relatively empty crowd. Anyone sick of winning yet?
Donald Trump asked, "Anyone sick of winning? Um, clearly MAGA doesn't feel that they're winning and they are abandoning you and you are losing." So Donald Trump looks out on his crowd and it is filled with older people at a Turning Point USA event which is supposed to be for younger people. And not only that, not only is the crowd not young enough for Donald Trump, but the crowd is not crowd enough for Donald Trump. People are not showing up for him. Young people are not showing up for him. Whether it be the economy, whether it be Iran, whether it be Israel, which I want to talk about in a second, as we as we oft do on this show, young people are abandoning Donald Trump and Democrats. Again, this is an opportunity not to try to appeal to young people by doing Tik Tok trends. Zoran Mandani ran a campaign that people who are out of touch refer to as a social media savvy one. Yes, Zoron Mandani because his mom was a, you know, fantastic, prolific director. You know, he had all the shots in him, right? And the clips were cut together well. The way that they packaged their video was very strong, but he wasn't doing dances, right? He wasn't like doing trends. Goron was delivering a message that landed about affordability, about an aspirational vision, about government's ability to work for you, for young people. He told me that he didn't want the greatest city in the world to become a relic that people could visit and see but couldn't actually live in, something of the past.
He wanted it to be something now for young people. That is how you should communicate, right? It it is not about, you know, again, doing trends. It's stupid. That is a a myopic view of young people and what we need especially when you want to know the issue that's on a silver platter for any Democrat who wants to take it when it comes to young people opposing the genocidal ethnostate that is Israel. How about among younger men? Younger men who were a key part of Donald John Trump's coalition back in 2024. They have very much shifted away from Israel. Look at this. net favorability of Israel among men under the age of 50 in 2022. Not too bad, but not too hot to trot either at minus three points. By 2025, again, down we go. Minus 22 points. That is just that is a 19 point shift in just 3 years time. But it gets even worse. Look at this for Israel. Minus 47 points. That's a 44 point shift away from Israel on the net favorability amongst young men who of course shifted massively into the Republican column back in 2024. And they have been shifting away from Israel over the last four years. Young men hate the state of Israel. They do. Young men hate the Netanyahu government. Young men hate the Greater Israel Project. Young men hate the young men who have died for Israel in the past two months in Donald Trump's war. They hate that that has happened. So if you are a Democrat racking your brain and they pretend to in public or how are we going to get young men? Who's the Joe Rogan of the left? Maybe break with Israel. Maybe put down the Apac money and start calling out the genocide. Don't be afraid to say the word genocide. Hey Andy Basher, it's not a limpness test, okay? Oh, it's not a, oh, they're forcing this upon us. No, this is what we actually care about. My generation sees this as the as the human rights issue of our time. And so if you want to appeal to us, do what is morally and politically right. This is a layup. It is a layup. And so is being oppositional to this war, which is why I'm glad that Chris Murphy was holding this press conference.
>> Um, so listen, we're going to have a debate and a vote every week in the United States Senate until either this war comes to an end or our Republican colleagues decide to do their constitutional duty. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has still not had a single open hearing on a war that has cost more than a dozen American lives, that is devastating the American economy, that has led to the outbreak of crippling regional conflict, and is costing tens of billions of dollars.
That is absolutely extraordinary. We have six new colleagues who are announcing this week that they are also filing uh resolutions of disapproval, which means we have lots of resolutions teed up to continue to make sure that we have this debate and this vote on the Senate floor. I think Senator Kaine is right. As this war grows more and more unpopular, as the cost to regular Americans gets higher and higher, as this president's incompetence grows clearer and clearer, it is going to be harder for our colleagues to continue to unquestionably support this war. It is unreal that we are sitting here talking about addressing a closure of the straight of Hormuz by closing the straight of Hormuz. Every single day should be about opposing Donald Trump's war, not just on the lack of constitutionality of it. No, you need to oppose it on its on its moral failure and the fact that we're doing it on behalf of Israel and to make people money on insider trading. That is what you should oppose. That is what we are going to talk about. And if you want to support that on this show, as always, you can hit that subscribe button, leave a like on this video. If you stuck around to the end, drop a blue heart in the comments. Keep on fighting, y'all.
Don't let them silence you. And until next time, I'll see you
