This video demonstrates that solving complex puzzles requires careful attention to details and logical deduction, as the answers often depend on spotting subtle inconsistencies or hidden clues that are not immediately obvious. The key skills include identifying visual anomalies, recognizing logical contradictions, and thinking laterally to find solutions that are not immediately apparent.

Can You Figure These Out Before the Twist Reveals Itself?Added:
Okay, get ready for the ultimate attention test. Every smallest detail might turn out to be crucial. Let's find out how sharp your eyes really are. Look at these glasses. They're filled with water and each of them has some object inside. Can you tell me which glass has the largest amount of water?
If we compare the weight of these objects, we'll find out that the paperclip is the lightest. That's why the glass holding it has the largest amount of water.
Among all these cute babies, try to find a sleeping one.
All right, here it is. Wow, that was tricky.
Bunnies, bunnies, bunnies. But I know for sure there must be an egg hiding among these cute creatures.
Exactly. It's not another ear. It's indeed an egg.
Look at these unusual equations. Can you figure out the values of the bee, wasp, and rabbit?
The wasp is worth 10, the bee is 12, and the rabbit is worth six.
Now, to crack this riddle, you need to use all your attention skills. Mike was going to take his corgi to the vet, but the pooch has run away and hidden in the garden. Can you find it?
Wow, that was a tricky task. Here it is.
Poor scared pup.
A lot is happening in this picture, but you just need to spot one thing. A banana. A little hint, it might be hiding in a very unexpected place.
This girl is wearing it as a hairband.
Did you manage to spot it?
Peter needs to take his dog for a walk, but it's raining outside and the pooch doesn't seem eager to leave this cozy living room. Can you help the guy find his pup?
Here it is near the sofa.
It looks like a regular living room, but happiness is hiding here. How fast can you spot it?
Here it is. Bingo.
Liz followed her mom's order and went to bed without objections. But her mom suspects that her daughter hasn't brushed her teeth. Mm-m. If you manage to find a toothbrush in the girl's bedroom, her mother's suspicions are correct.
The toothbrush is hidden on that shelf.
Uh-oh. Someone is going to be in trouble tomorrow.
Despite cold winter weather, Mark set off on a photo trip. His main goal was to capture a bear on film.
Unfortunately, Mark isn't very attentive. A bear is watching him, but he doesn't notice the animal. Let's see if you'll be able to help the guy and find a bear in this image.
Right here it is. Hm. What a curious creature.
Look at this image. How many triangles can you see?
There are 44 triangles here. Have you got it right?
H. What seems to be odd in this picture?
It's definitely the McDonald's sign, but isn't it too early for it?
How good are you at math? We'll see in a moment. If a + a= b, b + bals d, a + d= e, then how much is b + d + e.
It's the letter k which equals 11. All these letters represent their positions in the alphabet. A1 B2 C3 D4 and E5. 2 + 4 + 5 equal 11. And that's the letter K.
Now look attentively. Can you find a car in this black and white image?
There it is. hiding in the corner.
Now, this one is probably the trickiest riddle out there. I've spent ages trying to figure out the answer. Can you find a ring in this image?
Here it is placed on top of a carrot.
Can you find the answer to this equation?
The answer is three. See for yourself. A cat equals 4, a mouse is three, and cheese is worth two. Then 4 - 3 + 2 is 3.
Take a look at these creatures. They all seem to be zombies, but in reality, just one of them is the real monster. Can you figure out which one?
It's the girl on the right. She has an eye floating in her drink.
Can you spot a werewolf among these men?
Be very attentive to every detail.
I hope you've noticed that large beautiful full moon shining through the window. Then you must have deduced that none of these men is a werewolf.
Otherwise, he would have already transformed.
Your friend has invited you for a walk in the park. She offered you three places to choose from. Which one should you pick?
A wolf is hiding in the bushes in the first park. In park number three, there is a snake in the grass. Only the second park is safe for a nice long walk.
Can you find five hearts in this image?
Here they all are. How many of them have you managed to spot?
There are four mistakes in this image.
Can you find them all?
One, the dolphin seems to be missing its flippers. Two, this thing on the girl's back doesn't look like an oxygen tank.
Three, a butterfly at the bottom of the sea. Four, someone has written SOS on the sandy bottom. I guess it's pretty much useless. No one is going to see this cry for help anyway.
Larry's mother asked the guy to do some grocery shopping. She gave him a shopping list and her bank card, but the woman knew her son was very absent- minded. That's why she gave Larry a small note in case he forgot the card's pin number. When the guy was at the register, he realized he had indeed forgotten the pin. Larry pulled the note out of his pocket and immediately remembered the pin. Can you figure out what it was if the note had a fly, a cat, a person, and a snake drawn on it?
The pin was 6420.
Larry just had to count the number of legs on each creature.
Thomas loved asking his friends to solve all kinds of funny riddles. If they answered correctly, he helped them with whatever they had problems with. One day, Daniel came to Thomas and asked for help with his math exam. He knew the rules, though. He had to solve one riddle first. "What kind of running leads to walking?" Thomas asked. "Do you know the correct answer?"
Daniel said, "Running out of gas." And he was right. But helping your friend with exam preparation is a difficult task. That's why Thomas asked Daniel to solve one more riddle. A woman drove from Seattle to Los Angeles. It took her 2 days to get to her destination. That's when she discovered one of her tires was punctured. Then how did she manage to get to Los Angeles? Daniel cracked this riddle. Can you do the same?
The punctured tire was the spare one.
Oo, that was lucky.
Detective Oliver Smith was leaving for work in the morning when he saw a man running out of his neighbor's house. He stopped the guy who said his name was Paul. He came to visit his colleague about 30 minutes ago and saw him fighting with a man. The door was locked and Paul couldn't get inside to help.
While he was trying to find the way to enter the house, the criminal left. Paul entered and saw his colleague lying on the kitchen floor unconscious. Oliver and Paul came into the house. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary, but after looking around the kitchen, the detective arrested the man. Why?
Paul was the one to attack Oliver's neighbor. If his words were true, fried eggs would have already been burned after 30 minutes of cooking.
Detective Parkson was working on a tricky case. One day, he vanished. His colleagues found an encrypted node on his desk. It looked like this.
The officers knew Parkson had three suspects, Milana, Susan, and Emily. Who had some information about the detectives disappearance?
After some time, one of the police officers cracked the code. D + 1= E, L + 1= M, and so on. It was Emily who knew where the detective was. Well, aren't you the smarty pants? Good work.
>> Yeah.
Two best friends, Emily and Luna, came to a popular and expensive hair salon.
At first, the administrator told the girls they had just one available hair stylist.
But after making a phone call, she happily announced she had found another hairdresser. Emily and Luna could have their hair done at the same time. But in the process, it dawned on the girls that one of the hair stylists was fake. Which one?
Hair stylists are using regular scissors, but instead of hairspray, the one on the left is holding a can of bug spray. Yeah, that's a big clue right there.
Mary and her younger brother, Alex, were mushroom hunting in the forest. They started to quarrel, so Alex got angry and ran away. After several minutes, Mary rushed after him.
She was still fuming but also worried.
Soon the girl reached a small river. A man was sitting on the shore. "Did you see a teenager here?" Mary asked. "Yep, he's just taken a boat and made it to the other side." But Mary didn't believe the man. Why?
The boat is indeed on the other side, but the paddles are lying next to the man. How could the boy cross the river without them?
Three prisoners are sitting at a table having dinner, but one of them is wealthy. Can you guess who it is?
It's not the guy with the steak and shrimps. The little tag on his shirt reveals he's a chef and he likes to prepare a special treat for himself. The guy with the jewels shows that he's well off, but in prison, jewelry is basically worthless. It's the third guy. Wealthy people try to keep a low profile in prison, not to be targeted by others.
That's why he doesn't flash any valuable possessions or his status.
It's Friday and all the students have gathered in a big lecture hall to take the end of term exam. The teacher has been informed that one student is going to cheat. Can you tell which one? Pay attention to every detail.
It's student C. It looks as if he's trying to remember what he's read, but he has all the answers written on his hand.
Marta was walking through the park near her home in the evening. It was dark and there was nobody around. Suddenly, someone grabbed her from behind and they bolted away. Marta took off after them.
She was pretty sure this person was a woman, but she couldn't make out her appearance or clothes. When Marta ran inside, she saw three teachers. The girl looked at them attentively and soon figured out which one of them had taken her bag. Can you do the same?
The woman in the middle wouldn't be able to run away with a cast on her leg. The one on the right doesn't have anything in her hands. Where would she hide Marta's bag so quickly? But the woman on the left has a big shopper bag on her shoulder. A real teacher wouldn't need to carry it in the classroom, so she was definitely the one who took the bag.
Jonathan sneaked out of the house late in the evening to meet his girlfriend.
The teenager thought he was extremely careful and quiet, but his whole family knew about his plan. They were aware the guy would return at midnight, so they decided to make a bet. The one who would see Nathan first when the guy started climbing the fence would be the winner.
The prize would be no chores for them for one week. So as to not fall asleep, Nathan's dad switched on the TV. The teen's grandfather settled in the living room to read a book. The grandmother went to the kitchen to make a pizza. And Nathan's mom went to her room, sat down on the floor, and started to meditate.
Who's going to be the first to spot Nathan when the time comes?
Nathan's mom. Her eyes will be used to the darkness and she will see better than the others.
>> Look at this picture closely and try to figure out who's from the future.
>> Well, I'm pretty sure there was no flashlights in the Stone Age, so it has to be this guy here.
Down in the Sea Kingdom, Stacy met Neptune. He was sitting on his throne surrounded by three mermaids. Neptune asked Stacy to return the pearl necklace to his wife who had recently lost it.
Luke happened to have found the necklace on the shore. Can you guess which mermaid is Neptune's wife so Luke can give it back to her?
It's the third one. She's the only one who's wearing an engagement ring.
Lisa was a famous top model. She was found unconscious in her dressing room during a photo shoot and taken to a hospital. Doctors said she had a severe allergic reaction. But when Lisa came to her senses, she insisted she hadn't eaten anything all day. The model's manager was very concerned and interrogated everyone who'd been around.
Lisa's stylist said that she had applied Lisa's makeup and indeed hadn't seen her eat anything. The cleaning lady said she had cleaned the dressing room with organic, non-allergenic products. Lisa's main rival, Norah, said that she'd been watching the shooting all day long. She hadn't noticed anything suspicious.
Who's the culprit?
It was the stylist. Lipstick was the only thing Lisa could have swallowed that day.
In the middle of the night, Dennis woke up because of a loud crash. One of the kids must have been out, but they know they aren't allowed to leave at night.
The man went to check on the children.
All three of them, Catherine, Ruth, and Larry, seem to be sleeping peacefully.
Look at the kids and try to figure out who sneaked out of the house.
It was Ruth. There's a dirty sneaker hidden behind the curtain and several pieces of French fries under her bed.
Brenda was traveling by train. It was scorching hot in the carriage. The girl took off her gold bracelet decorated with diamonds and put it on the table in front of her. Several minutes later, the train entered a tunnel and it got pitch dark. When the tunnel was left behind, there was no bracelet on the table.
Brenda was shocked. Someone's taken my bracelet. There were just three other people in the compartment. Helen said she'd been sleeping. Rachel was reading a book on her phone. And Gregory had gone to the bathroom even before the train entered the tunnel. Who took the bracelet?
It was Helen. At first, she had her sleeves rolled up, but now they're covering her arms down to the wrists, hiding the bracelet.
Sarah bought some ice cream on Saturday, but kept the flavors in secret. When she woke up on Sunday, all the ice cream was gone. She asked everyone in the house if they knew anything about it. James answered he had gone to work early that morning and hadn't seen anything. Mary said she wanted to have the new caramel ice cream in the afternoon. She felt bad she was going to miss it. John didn't even know there was ice cream in the house, but he was looking forward to trying it. Can you figure out who knows something?
It's Mary. The ice cream flavors were a secret. She couldn't be sure there was a caramel taste among them.
Can you tell who's a real mermaid here?
The second one is a guy, so he definitely isn't a mermaid. The girl on the right is chilling in the sun and she's out of the water. Mermaids wouldn't do that because they dry out in the sun. So, the real mermaid must be the one on the left.
There were some thefts at the supermarket. There were three cases in total in January, April, and June. The security camera recorded these videos.
The security officer tried to have a closer look and suddenly noticed one detail. After that, the identity of the thief became clear. What did he notice?
It was the pregnant woman. The attentive security officer noticed that in January, she looked about 6 to 7 months pregnant. In June, she looked the same.
H seems like it's the mysterious case of the baby bump that was really a canned ham.
One day, a thief decided to rob the local bank. He came up with a brilliant plan to dress up as one of the bank tellers and try to sneak into the vault.
As he was approaching the vault, he saw a security guard standing right in front of the door. The robber hadn't anticipated this, so he hid and watched the guard carefully when one of the actual bank tellers walked up to the door. The security guard said 12. The worker answered six and got in. Then another teller came up to the vault.
When the security guard said six, the person answered three and was granted access. The thief nonchalantly walked up to the security guard when the guard said 10. The robber confidently answered five. He was arrested immediately. So, why was the thief's answer wrong? And what could he have answered instead?
The response has to do with the number of letters in the word. 12 has six letters, so the answer is six. Six in turn has three letters, so the answer is three. Well, you can see by now that the robber should have said three. Looks like he wasn't as brilliant as he thought.
The safe's open. Justin sees a folder with the case he needs to solve next.
Mr. White, a rich businessman, disappeared from his bedroom, but he managed to leave a note. It read, "The 1st of July, the 4th of January, the 1st of December, the 8th of February." The police questioned the people who were in the house at that time. Judy, Mr. White's wife, said, "I'm shocked. My husband was always so careful. Sadly, I don't know anything. I was away staying at my parents. Logan, Mr. White's secretary, told the police he had been working on the report for his boss and hadn't left his study. And Rose, Mr. White's daughter, answered, "I was having guests. We didn't leave my room.
The case is still unsolved. Can Justin crack it?
The one behind Mr. White's disappearance is his wife. The 1st of July means the letter J. The 4th of January, U. The 1st of December, D. And the 8th of February, Y. Altogether, it's Judy.
The next day, Justin was questioning Mary, a suspect in a tricky smuggling case. The girl refused to talk. At some moment, she shouted, "Right now, I'd drown my phone in this cup filled with coffee, and you'll never find out the truth." But Justin was totally unbothered by her threat. Why?
The cup was filled with coffee beans.
They would do no harm to the gadget.
A shoe shiner was arrested and taken to the police station where Justin worked.
The man was shouting he was an honest person. He cleaned people's shoes for free. His clients paid him of their own will. But Justin soon realized which trick the shoe shiner used.
The man clean one shoe for free. Nobody wanted to look untidy in just one clean shoe and paid him for shining the other one.
Once Justin's boss called his wife and told her he'd come back home at 8:00.
They had no plans for the evening whatsoever. The man was at home almost on time at 5 minutes 8, but his wife was furious. The boss was confused. When he came to work the next day, he asked Justin to explain to him why his wife had been so angry.
Justin told his boss, "Well, your wife expected you to come home at 8:00 p.m., but you came at 8:00 in the morning."
Justin was sent to patrol the streets.
While walking, he saw a weird picture. A man went out of a house with a bucket of water, shouted, and poured this water on the sidewalk. It took Justin some time to figure out why he had done it.
The man had been planning to wash his car, but while he was away, it got stolen.
Once a bank was robbed. The police suspected that one of the bank security guards had helped the criminals and Justin had to question three of them.
The first security guard told him he had heard some shouting and rushed there, but by the time he arrived, the criminals had already been gone. The second security guard explained he had been drinking a cup of coffee at that moment and hadn't even heard anything.
And the third guard said that he had run after the thieves, but he had to lace his boot. Without a second thought, he crouched near an emergency exit. At that very moment, the door opened and hit him on the head. When he came back, the criminals had been gone. Justin immediately understood which guard was guilty. Who was it?
It was the third security guard. All emergency doors open outwards for safety reasons.
Justin's next suspect was a young woman.
The guy hadn't seen her yet, but he had her photo. When he was looking at this picture, he felt something was wrong, but couldn't figure out what exactly.
Then all of a sudden, it dawned on him.
What did Justin realize?
The girl was inside the house, but the door was blocked from the outside. How did she get in and out of the house?
Through the second floor window?
Unlikely.
A notorious criminal escaped from a 150 ft tower. Someone had managed to get him a pair of scissors and a rope. Justin found out that the rope was just 75 ft long and the criminal had cut it in the middle. Now the future detective needs to understand how it helped the man get away.
The criminal indeed cut the rope in the middle, but not across. He made the cut along the rope, tied its two parts together, and got down to the ground without any problems.
A peasant boy was caught in the king's palace. The king was very mad and didn't want to let him go just like that. He loved all kinds of riddles, so he gave the boy a chance to escape. He said the boy could walk out of any of the three doors, and if he stayed safe, he was free. Behind the first door, there were lions that hadn't eaten in 3 years.
Behind the second door, there were three trained assassins. Behind the third door, there was poisonous gas. The boy made his choice and managed to leave.
Which door did he walk out of?
He used the first door. If lions hadn't eaten in 3 years, they couldn't have survived. They were just skin and bones.
A young woman, Julia, drank a spiked tea and left a note. The note was saying, "I just can't live like this anymore, and so I won't. Nobody's guilty." However, the officer didn't think she drank the tea willingly. He suggested that someone had staged everything and made her do it. After a careful analysis, it was confirmed that the note was really written by Julia. Still, the police officer arrested the one who was guilty.
There were only three people in the house. Julia's boyfriend Ian, her older sister Kate, and her lab partner Mia.
Can you guess who's guilty?
The first letters of each sentence come together as Ian, her boyfriend's name.
He must have made her write a note to make it look like it was her choice. But Julia left a hint for the police.
A man fell off the third floor of the building. He was fine, but he lost his memory and couldn't tell what happened.
Someone had seen him a while ago washing the windows and everybody agreed it must have been an accident. However, a detective decided to check if it was true. He walked up to the third floor, opened the window, and threw down a coin. When he returned, he stated that the man didn't fall himself, but somebody pushed him out. How did the detective know?
The detective opened the window. It means it had been closed before. If the man had fallen by accident, the window would have remained open.
You're locked in a dungeon. There are three ways out, but none of them seem safe. Behind the first door, there's a huge and strong guard. Behind the second, there's three big and hungry dogs. Behind the third door, there's two sharp spinning cog wheels. Which way should you follow to get out and stay safe?
The third one, the cog wheels are quite high above the ground so you can crawl beneath them.
You and your friend come back home very late when everyone is already asleep.
Nobody knew that you were outside and nobody should. There's a code on the door that asked to type in the rest of it. Your friend completely forgot it, but if you don't type it in 10 seconds, it'll start the security alarm. Can you guess what the missing numbers are?
The combination is just a set of twodigit numbers 10 11 12 13 14 and 15.
So the other six digits are 1 6 1 78 that make the remaining 16 17 and 18.
James is a single father of triplet daughters. He stayed late at work and got a call from a friend who just saw one of his daughters at a party in a different neighborhood. However, the friend couldn't tell which of the daughters it was. When James came home, he asked his daughters who had been at the party. Autumn said she had been doing her homework all evening. Serena said she'd spent the day outside reading. Emily said she'd been playing Uno. James could tell immediately who was lying. Can you Emily. She couldn't play Uno alone. She would need a partner for that.
You're lost in a deep forest. It's getting dark and you have to get out immediately, unless you want to spend the night in the woods. Luckily, you come across a little shack where a witch lives. She promises to show you a way out if you solve her riddle. So, here it is. Ava's mom has three daughters. The oldest daughter's name is April. The second daughter's name is May. Can you guess what's the name of the youngest daughter?
It's Ava's mom. So, the last daughter's name is Ava. Look at these people lounging near a swimming pool. They all seem to be wealthy, but in fact, only one of them is a millionaire.
The girl sitting under the palm tree is wearing a lot of gold jewelry, but all this gold is fake. It leaves greenish marks on her body. The girl walking past the swimming pool is wearing sandals with a large logo on them. But the name of this brand is written wrong, so it's fake. The guy who's lying on the floating mattress is playing a game on his phone, but instead of an apple, there's a strawberry on his gadget. The man who's watering the plant is the millionaire we're looking for. There's a Mercedes keychain hanging out of his pocket. He also left a $100 tip for the waiter.
Ethan and his girlfriend Anne went to explore a cave and got lost. After some time, they came across two people, a man and a woman. The man, bearded and rough looking, had a shovel in his hands. I've been stuck here for a week. I know how to get to the surface, but I need your help. Come with me." The young woman exclaimed, "Don't trust him. He's a criminal. Follow me. I've been here longer than him. I know where the exit is." Who should the guys believe?
Ethan and Anne decided to follow the man. If the girl had been in the cave for more than a week, why does she look so tidy and has fresh flowers in her hair?
Several gold bullion bars were stolen from a bank. The police figured out where they could be and who could take them. Without wasting time, they arrived at the main suspect's house. But since they were in a hurry, they forgot to bring a warrant. The man told them he wouldn't allow them to search his house.
Come back with a warrant and we'll talk.
An hour later, the police officers came back with a needed document. They thoroughly searched the house and garden, but didn't find the gold.
Suddenly, one of the officers exclaimed, "I know where he hid the gold. Have you figured it out?
The gold is in the swimming pool. When the police visited the man for the first time, the level of water in it was lower. A man shaves every day but still has a long and thick beard. How is it possible?
The man is a barber and he shaves his clients. One day, a famous soccer coach went missing right from the locker room.
The detective has three suspects and all of them are from the coach's team.
Brandon says that after training, he stayed on the pitch to practice a bit more. He hasn't been to the locker room yet. Andrew swears that straight after the training, he went outside to meet with his girlfriend. And James claims that when he was leaving the locker room, the trainer was still there. Who is the criminal?
It's Andrew. He said he hadn't been to the locker room yet, but he's wearing not the uniform, but his street clothes.
Five people were asked to step over a pencil that was lying on the floor, but for some reason, none of them managed to do it. Have you figured out why the pencil was placed near the wall? How tricky.
King Victor wants to find a perfect husband for his daughter, Princess Jessica. That's why he offered Arthur, who wants to propose to Jessica this simple game. He gave the guy 50 gold coins, 50 silver coins, and two empty bowls. Then the king said, "Put these 100 coins into these two bowls. You can divide them any way you like as long as you use all the coins. Then I will blindfold you and move the bowls around.
After that, you can choose one bowl and pull one coin out of it. If the coin is gold, you will marry my daughter. But if the coin is silver, you'll spend the rest of your life in jail.
Can you help Arthur raise his chances to marry Jessica?
He should place one gold coin in one bowl and the rest of the coins in the other bowl. This way, he'll begin with a 50/50 chance of choosing the bowl with the gold coin. But even if he chooses the other bowl, he'll still have almost a 50/50 chance of picking one of the 49 gold coins. So, this strategy will give him a two and three chance of getting engaged with Jessica.
Josh is at his first job interview. The interviewer, Nancy, decided to check his logical thinking and offered him this task. You have a large tank of water and three buckets with a capacity of 4, 8, and 10 gall respectively. You have to measure 3 gall of water precisely using these buckets. How will you do it? Can you help Josh pass this test?
It's impossible. The interviewer asked Josh to measure three gallons, which is an odd number. But she offered Josh the buckets that only fit an even number of gallons, 4, 8, and 10. So, he can't be precise in his measurements.
There was a doctor with curly hair who lived on Fifth Avenue. One day, the doctor's brother got married. What's the family relationship between the doctor and the groom? Keep in mind that brother is not the answer you need.

A kind-looking elderly woman came up to Mia in a restaurant. The woman said, >> "You look exactly like my younger daughter. We argued and haven't been speaking for many years. Could you do me a favor and say goodbye mother with a smile on your face when I leave?" Mia felt very sorry for the poor woman and agreed. So she said, "Goodbye, mother."
when the old woman left. Soon after that, Mia got the biggest shock of her life.

>> Nancy took Josh to the office kitchen.
Can you see anything weird on the table?
Take a look at the electric kettle. Min and max are on the opposite sides.
Look at this cute little rabbit rotating the gear. Can you predict which mark the arrow will point at? Number one or number two.
The second the gears in direct contact will always rotate in opposite directions.
There are 40 elephants and they have 44 heads. How can this be possible?
It's a play on words. The 40 elephants have 44 heads. Get it? Kate and Pam are liars. They both lie on specific days.
Pam lies on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. She speaks the truth the rest of the time. And Kate lies on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. As for all other days, she speaks only the truth. Can you figure out that one day of the week when both Kate and Pam can say, "Tomorrow I'll lie.
It's Thursday. Let's suppose that any girl is telling the truth when she says, "Tomorrow I'll lie." She will have to keep her promise and lie the next day.
But if her statement was false, then she'd have to speak the truth the next day. Anyway, in each case, the girls will have to change their behavior the next day. Now, it's pretty clear that Kate can only say that on Thursday or Sunday, and Pam can say that on Monday or Thursday. So, the only day which fits the conditions of the riddle is Thursday.
I'm huge on Sunday and Saturday. I'm small from Tuesday to Thursday. I don't exist on Monday and Friday. What am I?
The letter S.
Mike is a famous treasure hunter. He is stuck in a cave with four doors.
Unfortunately, each door hides some serious danger. The room behind the first one is filled with ice. Anyone who enters it gets frozen in seconds. There are two hungry sharks waiting behind the second door. The third door opens to a room filled with the world's most poisonous gas. And the fourth door leads to a room filled with giant magnifying lenses that increase the heat from the sun. Anyone and anything that enters gets burned in no time.
>> Uh-oh.
>> Can you help Mike escape?
He can get away through the fourth door at night when the sun goes down.
Bobby needs to crack a secret code using the following clues. One of the numbers is correct and is placed in the right place. Nothing is correct. Two numbers are correct, but not in the needed position. One number is what we need, but it's not in the correct position.
One number is okay, but not put in its right place.
>> Uh-oh.
>> Have you figured it out?
Let's begin with statement two. We can exclude 0, 3, and two from the final code. Now, according to statement three, we can conclude that numbers 1 and 8 are correct. Statements 1 and four help us to learn that nine is in the final code and it comes third. Now it's time to identify the right places for 1 and 8.
Let's take a look at statements three and five. 8 can't go third because this place is already occupied by 9 and it can't go first because it contradicts the third condition. So the correct code is 819.
Take a look at these matchicks. There are five identical squares. Can you form six identical squares by moving just three matchixs? Keep in mind that you're not allowed to let them overlap or break the matchixs.
Here's the way. Take these three matchicks at the bottom and place them vertically in the center of the squares in the middle row. Voila. Now you have six identical squares.
Several robbers locked Fred in a room.
The room is almost empty. There's a piano with notes, a calendar, and a water bed. The room is locked from the outside. Can you guess what Fred ate and drank and how he escaped from the room?
To crack this riddle, you definitely need to think outside the box.
Fred ate the dates on the calendar, got water from the water bed, and used a piano key to escape.
Fiona can eat 27 chocolates in an hour.
Alex can eat two chocolates in 10 minutes, and Kitty can eat seven chocolates in 20 minutes. How long will it take them all to eat a large box of 120 chocolates?
2 hours. In 1 hour, Fiona eats 27 chocolates, Alex eats 12, and Kitty eats 21. The total is 60 chocolates.
Therefore, it would take them all 2 hours to eat all 120 chocolates.
I'm soft and cuddly, which soothes your heart. But if you pick my last name, I'm going to tear you apart.
>> What am I?
I'm a teddy bear.
There are two sand hourglasses. The small one can measure 5 hours and the large one can measure 7 hours. How can we measure 16 hours with the help of two hourglasses running together?
First of all, start both hourglasses at the same time. 5 hours later, flip over the small hourglass. Then wait for 2 hours and flip over the large hourglass as soon as it finishes its first 7-hour cycle. When the small hourglass finishes the second cycle, this will mean that 10 hours have passed. At this point, the large hourglass will have been running for 3 hours. So now you should flip over both the small and large hourglasses.
This way you'll make the large hourglass run for 3 hours. When the large hourglass finishes its 3-hour cycle, this will mean that 13 hours have passed. Now, flip both the small and large hourglasses over again. When the small hourglass runs out of sand, it will mark another 3 hours. You've just measured 16 hours, and the mission is accomplished.
Can you guess which color should be added to the top of this tree?
The number of letters in the names of these colors gets reduced by one in every next row. Scarlet is made up of seven letters. Orange and yellow have six letters. Green, brown, and black contain five letters. Gray and blue have just four. So, the missing color should be made up of three letters. For example, red.
Amy entered her favorite fast food place to get some fries. She saw these four people inside. Can you tell who's not poor?
The first lady has a fake Gucci bag.
This gentleman has a patch on his jacket. The third woman has threads sticking out of her suit. And the fourth guy has a bunch of expensive gadgets.
So, he's definitely not poor.
Take a look at these matchicks. Can you find a way to make three squares by moving just four matchicks?
Here's the right way.
The accountant says, "The attorney is my brother, but the attorney claims he doesn't have a brother. Who's lying?
Neither. The accountant is his sister.
Oliver was attacked in his flat and taken to the hospital. There are four suspects, all of them Oliver's neighbors. Wow, I'd find another apartment. Amelia said she'd been walking in the park since early morning.
Henry explained he had been painting in his studio and had heard nothing. Jacob said he had been repairing his car.
Sophia answered she'd been taking a bath for the past 3 hours. Look at these people's hands and tried to figure out who's lying.
It's a bit strange that Jacob, who was repairing his car, and Henry, who was painting, both have such clean hands, but they could be wearing gloves. On the other hand, Sophia's hands and fingers don't have wrinkles, but it would be a natural skin reaction after 3 hours in a bathtub. Sophia, you've been caught red, I mean smoothhanded.
The police found out there was a new smuggler in town. Three people were under suspicion. Luna, a school bus driver, Jackson, a firetruck driver, and Daniel, an ambulance driver. All of them claim to have been busy with their work since the very morning. Can you figure out who's the smuggler?
Look at the car Daniel drives. On such vehicles, the word ambulance is normally written backward. It's done so that other drivers can instantly read the inverted word in their rear view mirrors. Well, it seems Daniel has given himself away.
It was the day when Jacob was supposed to be discharged from the hospital. He had spent a couple of months there and underwent several surgeries. His doctor told him he was going to be fine. It was safe for Jacob to leave the hospital.
But the guy didn't believe these promises. In low spirits, he walked home. On the way, he accidentally bumps into an elderly lady. She gets furious and started to shout at Jacob. But instead of arguing back, he hugged the woman and ran home. Why?
Jacob had hearing loss. He didn't believe his problem could be helped. But when he heard the woman shouting at him, he realized the doctor had told him the truth. Maybe the doctor should have shouted.
Chloe stayed late at the office that day. When she was driving home, the woman was worn out. At one moment, she even started to doze off. That's when it happened. She spun off the road and crashed through the fence that was on her way. She couldn't control the car anymore. It slipped down a steep hill and ended up in a lake. Chloe couldn't move her arms. They were stuck. She couldn't undo her seat belt or open the door. The car sank to the bottom of the lake. Was Chloe doomed? Rescuers arrived 3 hours later. The woman was still in the car, but she was alive. How did she survive?
After the car hit the bottom of the lake, the water only came up to Khloe's throat. It was a very shallow lake. Good thing, huh? It was Jack's birthday, and the fellow got a present he had been dreaming about for ages, a motorbike.
The next morning, he rode his bike to college and left it at the parking lot.
During lunchtime, Jack decided to check on his motorbike. Imagine his horror when he found out someone had broken the mirrors. The security guard told Jack only three other people had left his building in the afternoon. They were Owen and Sam, two best friends, and Leila, the girl who once liked Jack but got turned down by him. Owen said he and Sam had gone to the campus cafe to get sandwiches for lunch. Sam confirmed this. He then added the bike could have been damaged by Leila out of her bench, but Ila told Jack her mother had visited her and they had spent 2 hours together.
So, who's lying?
Owen has a paper bag with food delivery written on it. It means the guys ordered their lunch, not bought it in the cafe.
They broke Jack's mirrors and tried to frame Ila. Not a good reflection on them, huh?
Detective Taylor was chasing a dangerous criminal. Suddenly, the man entered a hospital. Oh no, there are hundreds of rooms there. Luckily, it was raining and the criminal left footprints on the hospital floor. The detective followed them and got into a small room. There were three people there, all covered in bandages from head to toe. But one of them was a fake patient. Who?
It was the dude in the middle. He didn't even have a medical chart next to his bed. Very quick job on the bandages, though.
The CEO of a large company called the police. He was sure that one of his employees, Victoria, had stolen a memory card with secret information. She was going to sell it to their competitors.
The police arrived at Victoria's house, but the woman didn't let them in without a warrant. The officers had to leave to get all the necessary papers. By the time they were back, Victoria had already been sitting in her car, ready to drive off. The police officers arrested the woman. They searched her car and clothes, but found nothing. And then when they were about to give up, one of the detectives realized where Victoria kept the memory card. Can you figure it out?
When the police first came to her, the woman had her hair down, but after that, Victoria changed her hairstyle. The memory card is in her bun. Yep. Victoria and her sticky bun.
Michael was going home from the gym when everything went black. When he regained consciousness, he found out he was in a locked room. Next to the door, there was a computer with a keyboard. On the screen, there was a riddle. Michael had to write the correct answer, and the door would open. The riddle went like this. It makes two people out of one.
What is it? Michael typed the needed word and the door opened. He was free to go. What was the answer?
It's a mirror. Oh, I was guessing a buzzsaw, but this one is better and not as messy. Two best friends, Emily and Luna, came to a popular and expensive hair salon. At first, the administrator told the girls they had just one available hair stylist, but after making a phone call, she happily announced she had found another hairdresser. Emily and Luna could have their hair done at the same time. But in the process, it dawned on the girls that one of the hair stylists was fake. Which one?
Both hair stylists are using regular scissors, but instead of hairspray, the one on the left is holding a can of bug spray. Yeah, that's a big clue right there.
A man on a bike grabbed Sarah's bag with all her documents, money, and smartphone and sped off. The only way the girl can get her bag back is by taking someone's car and driving after the criminal.
There are three vehicles parked nearby.
Which one can Sarah break into and drive off? Whoops, I mean borrow.
A man is sitting in the blue car. That's no good. If she decides to take the red car, CCTV will spot her. Her only option is the brown vehicle. Oh, and Sarah, don't forget to return the wheels when you get your bag back. Otherwise, you'll be Grand Theft Sarah.
Mary and her younger brother, Alex, were mushroom hunting in the forest. Wait, mushroom hunting? What do you do? Sneak up on them so they don't escape? Anyway, they started to quarrel. Alex got angry and ran away. After several minutes, Mary rushed after him. She was still fuming, but also worried. Soon the girl reached a small river. A man was sitting on the shore. "Um, did you see a teenager here?" Mary asked. "Yep, he's just taken a boat and made it to the other side." But Mary didn't believe the man. Why?
The boat is indeed on the other side, but the paddles are lying next to the man. How could the boy cross the river without them? So, where's Alex?
Kidnapped by the escape mushrooms. We may never know.
Ella came to a party that took place in her best friend's house. It was a riddle party. All the guests had to crack mysteries and participate in different challenges. Ella's task was to get out of a locked room in the basement. The girl was blindfolded, taken downstairs, and left alone. After pulling the piece of cloth off her eyes, Ella noticed the door had a code lock. She also spotted a sheet of paper lying on the floor next to the door. There were four flowers drawn there. Ella looked at them for a while and entered the correct code. The door opened and the girl joined the party. So, what was the code?
Ella counted the petals on each flower.
The code was 5748.
Carter was visiting his friend Matteo, who lived in another city. Matteo loved riddles. In the evening, he challenged Carter to get the key to the guest room where the guy was supposed to be sleeping. Matteo dropped the key in the bucket filled with cold water and told Carter to get it, but he couldn't touch the water or use anything to pull the key out. That night, Carter slept in the guest room. How did he get the key?
He put the bucket over a fire. The water started to boil and soon evaporated.
After that, Carter picked the key up.
Matteo was steamed.
Nora was an insurance agent. Once her client called her early in the morning, the woman was in tears. At night, someone had broken into her house. By the time the woman had enough courage to go downstairs, the thief had already taken all the valuables. When she looked out of the window, the man was running away. "Do you remember what he looked like?" Norah asked. The client answered, "It was still dark outside. I understood it was a man, tall and thin. He had dark hair and was wearing a V-neck t-shirt."
Norah immediately realized her client has staged the burglary. How did she figure it out?
It was dark and the man was running away from the client's house. Then how could the woman see he was wearing a V-neck t-shirt? Beats me.
>> You're at Aaron and Cleo's wedding.
Here's Aaron standing alone. Which of these ladies is his wife to be?
It's this one. Look, there's her name, Cleo, on her bracelet.
Three girls are fighting over a doll. It belongs to one of them, but each of the three says it's hers. Who do you think the real owner of the doll is?
It must be this girl. Look, she and the doll have matching outfits. It's Halloween and some people got dressed as ghosts, but there's one real ghost among them. Who do you think it is?
Look, this person doesn't cast a shadow.
Three friends went camping. Two of them are real people and one is a robot. Take a closer look at the photo of them and tell me who you think the robot is.
It must be this guy. Take a look at the footprints each of them left. This guy's footprints are actually wheelprints, which is not very common for a real human. Amanda and her mom are participating in a game show. It's the final round, and Amanda's task is to figure out which of these two women is her mom. Both women are wearing masks, so Amanda cannot see their faces. Can you help her?
Pay attention to the woman's hair color.
Amanda is redheaded. This woman has red hair, too, so I'd bet it's her mom. In any case, Amanda must know what color her mom's hair is, so she's safe here.
Local police got information that their little town had been invaded. Officers started walking around asking for people's ID cards. I'll show them to you one by one, and you must decide who looks suspicious. For example, this one.
What's your verdict?
Look at this guy's birth year. No, it's definitely not a real ID.
Here's another one. What can you say about this lady?
Look at her place of residence. It's just the name of some place. There's no mention of a state or country. Nope.
This person is suspicious, too.
The next person is this young lady. And here's her ID card. Do you see anything suspicious?
She seems fine to me. I'd let her go.
Another one. What about this person?
This time, pay attention to this photo.
All document photos should have a white background. This one isn't an officially issued ID card, so I'd say he's suspicious. I have the last suspect for you. What do you say? Is there anything we should be concerned about?
No, he's okay. Let him go. A rich lady, Mrs. Reed was looking for a person to clean her house every week. She invited three candidates and asked them why they wanted the job. Amelia said she wanted to earn some money during the summer to travel to another state with her friends. Colton said his mother forced him to do something in the summer so that he didn't play video games all day long.
Danica said she was totally broke and needed money to survive. When they left, Mrs. Reed saw that her diamond necklace was missing. She guessed that one of the candidates had stolen it, so she invited them again. Take a look at them and figure out who the thief is.
It's Danica. She said she was broke. The last time she was there, she was wearing old clothes. But look at her now. She has new clothes, gold earrings, and an iPhone. She must have stolen the necklace and sold it. On a snowy winter day, police got a call that one of the houses in the neighborhood had been robbed. A detective visited people living there, but everyone said that they'd been staying at home because of the weather. Still, the detective understood who was lying. This person became the main suspect. Who is it?
It must be the person living in this house. He said he'd been staying at home, but he obviously parked his car after the snow had already built up on the driveway. So, the car was away for a while. Why would he lie? Another day, another crime. Mr. Spencer, a businessman, was robbed. He said he'd had a heavy safe full of cash in his bedroom. Now, it was gone. and he was worried that he didn't have any proof that he'd ever possessed it. Still, a detective said that he believed the man and asked for details. How did the detective know the businessman wasn't a liar?
Look, there's dents on the floor.
Something really heavy was indeed standing there for a long time.
There was another robbery in a small town. And the main suspect was Damon, the victim's old friend turned enemy and ex- business partner. The next day, on August 7th, the police paid Damon a visit. He wasn't at home. When they reached him by phone, Damon said he was on vacation in Greece and that he left a week before. The police examined his apartment. When the detective looked around, he realized Damon had left recently. How did he understand it?
Look at the calendar on the wall. It says August 6th, which is the day of the crime. If Damon had really left the week before, his calendar would date back to the day when he departed instead of yesterday. In a small town, someone had stolen all the chicken nuggets from a local store. The store owner called the police and they started the investigation. There were three suspects. Mr. Jones said that he'd already been at work at that time. Mr. Collins said that his family was vegan, so he wouldn't be interested in chicken nuggets. Mr. Martin said the police had just woken him up. Who's a liar?
The thief is Mr. Collins. He said his family was vegan, but look, they keep chickens. That's suspicious.
Someone stole a bike in a small town, and the police were working hard to find it. There were three main suspects, all of them teenagers. Ava said that she'd been out with her friends and had just returned home. Brian said that his mom had made him paint a fence, and that's what he'd been doing. Caleb said he'd been playing with his brother in the garden. Who lied?
Brian, look. The fence is red, but the grass next to it doesn't have any stains, so the fence isn't likely to be freshly painted. Ako and Dela were sisters. Ako was broke. She asked Dela to lend her some money, but Dela refused. Several minutes later, Dela went downstairs and Ako noticed there was a $20 bill on Dela's desk, so she took it with an intention to return it one week later. When Dela came back and asked where the bill was, Ako said that a gust of wind had suddenly blown inside and the bill had flown out the window.
Dela didn't believe her and asked her to give the money back. How did Dela realize it was a lie?
If a gust of wind had blown into the room, nothing would have flown out of the window. It would have been swept from the table to the floor, but not the other way around.
Dustin is a widowed man living alone in his house. One day, the doorbell rang.
Dustin went up to open his door, and right there, there she was, his wife.
How's it possible?
I hope you kept your eyes wide open for this one. Look, there's a photo of Dustin and his wife on the wall. His wife has a birth mark on her cheek. The woman that just appeared doesn't have it, so it must be Dustin's wife's twin sister.
Dylan was grounded and he wasn't allowed to meet even his girlfriend for a week.
One evening when Dylan's mom returned home from work, she found Dylan in his room and asked him if he'd met anyone that day. Dylan said that he'd been at home studying all day. His mom didn't believe him. Why?
Look, there's a lipstick stain on his neck. I'm pretty sure his girlfriend came over for a short visit.
Another grounded teenager, Elyn, wasn't allowed to see any of her friends for 2 weeks after failing her history test.
One night, her mother had a night shift and only returned home next afternoon.
She came to check on her daughter, and she knew immediately that Elyn had a friend over for a sleepover. How did she figure it out?
Examine Elyn's room carefully. Two plates, two cups, two forks. She wasn't the only one eating dinner in her room last night. And she wasn't smart enough to clean up after. Smells like two more weeks to me. Miss Virginia Dell is a rich young lady who had a beautiful and expensive jewelry collection behind a glass in her dressing room. One morning, she found that someone broke the glass and stole her jewelry.
Miss Dell's cleaning lady claimed that she had cleaned the room at around 5:00 a.m. and the jewelry was still there.
Virginia's best friend, who was staying in her house that week, said that she had never even walked in the dressing room. Virginia's cousin, who was also staying with her for the holiday, said that she'd walked in the dressing room in the morning, but hadn't paid any attention to the jewelry, and for sure hadn't stolen anything. Who is the liar?
It's the cleaning lady. Seems like right after she broke the glass and stole the jewelry, she wiped off the pieces of glass while cleaning as well because there's no shattered glass on the floor.
Okay, here's another task for you to test your observation skills. I'll show you two people and some items. Your task is to guess which person the item belongs to. Let's start off easy. What about this stethoscope?
Well, it should definitely belong to this doctor on the right. Two more people. Any guesses who the owner of this bracelet is?
The bracelet has a name engraved on it, Sophia. This girl on the left has a name tag with the same name, so it must be her bracelet.
Next up, this lipstick. There are two girls who are possible owners, but what's your best guess? Who does it belong to?
It must be this girl. Both of them are wearing lipstick, but this girl has the exact same shade as the lipstick itself.
Earring and two girls again to choose from. Any guesses?
It must be this girl. Her ears are pierced and the other girls aren't.
The next item is the haird dryer. Who do you think it belongs to?
It must be this girl's dryer. She has long hair and the other guy is bald.
Okay, this one is more fun. The next one we have to place is this cute little cat. Who do you think is its owner?
See that this girl's legs are a bit scratched? They give her away completely. It's her cat.
One last item for you to place. This time it's a photograph of the owner in her teenage years with her parents. Who do you think it belongs to?
The teen in the photo is a red head with green eyes. There's just one red-head girl with green eyes, and here she is.
It must be her photo.
Esme was having a walk in the forest and got lost. She came across a witch's house and asked her to take her home.
Five doors appeared. Only one of them will take you home, and you only have one chance. The right door is black.
It's not next to the leftmost or the rightmost door. It's not the door in the middle either. Which door should Esme choose?
There are just three black doors and it's one of them. It's not the door next to the leftmost or the rightmost one.
So, the fourth door is eliminated. It's not the middle door, so it's out too.
Esme should walk out the door on the left.
O woke up in a dark dungeon without remembering what happened. She looked around and saw a metal door.
Unfortunately, it was locked and it required not just one password, but four. Ako had only one attempt to make it right. Gladly, next to the door, there was a sign with four words: apple, bread, chair, and dress. Which word belongs here?
Pay attention to the shapes of each password. Some letters are bigger than others, and each word should fit right in. So, it should be bread on the top left, apple on the top right, dress on the bottom left, and chair on the bottom right.
In a factory, a worker and a half make a chair and a half in 1 hour and a half.
How many chairs does one worker make in one working day, which is 6 hours?
If 1 and 1/2 workers make 1 and 1/2 chairs in 1 and 1/2 hours, it means that one worker makes one chair in the same time, which is 1 and 1/2 hours. So, in a 6-hour working day, one worker makes four chairs.
It was a lazy day, but as soon as it started raining, a city's police officer got a call. Mr. Jones said that someone had just bumped into his car and drove away. The officer arrived, they found one person nearby fixing his car's tire.
Mr. Jones said that it was the gentleman who had bumped into his car. The gentleman said that it couldn't be true since he had been trying to fix his car for over an hour now and was there the whole time. Who is lying?
It's the guy fixing his car. The rain just recently started. If he'd been fixing his car the whole time, the ground underneath his car would be dry.
But it's wet, which means his car broke down just recently, probably when he was driving away after the accident. A crew of pirates arrived at a deserted island in the Caribbeans at night. In the early morning, the captain went ashore to find his secret stash with all the treasures hidden in it. But when he reached it, the treasures weren't there. Someone from his crew had gone ashore earlier and stolen all of it. There were three suspects, Bill, first mate, Gil, Bosen, and Will Cook. All of them denied stealing anything, but the captain knew who was lying. Who?
There are footprints on the shore from earlier that don't belong to the captain. One is a footprint, but the other one is a hole from a stick. The robber must be Gil, the Bosen, because he is the only one with a wooden leg.
Let's start with training your eyes a bit. Can you find an odd one out here?
Yes, that's the one.
Another one for you. Look carefully. And you only have several seconds to find the impostor.
That's the one. Correct.
Now, the game is getting a bit harder, but I know you've got it. What do you say?
Here it is. Did you find it?
Okay, last one of these. The hardest one. Do you see the odd one out this time?
There it is. Great job.
Time to go to your room and get some rest. But uh-oh, the elevator you entered is a trap. It takes you to the hotel's basement where three doors appear in front of you. The first door takes you to the Amazon rainforest with green andacondas, electric eels, and poison dart frogs. The second takes you to the Antarctic circumpolar current.
the largest and most potent current globally. The third takes you to the top of Monaka in Hawaii. It's the tallest mountain and largest volcano in the world that goes below sea level. Only one of them takes you to a safe place.
Which one? You've got 6 seconds.
Pick the third door. Monaka is a dormant volcano and it stopped erupting hundreds of thousands of years ago, so you're safe.
You've made it out of the shady cave and you need to go to your room. As soon as you enter, the lights go off and you hear bars lowering to the floor and huge chains shaking. You use your arms to navigate around and come across dots on the wooden floor. You run your fingers through them. It's Braille and it reads, "One of the three magic mushrooms on this table will help you leave this place. Pick wisely, otherwise you'll be stuck in this dark room forever." The mushrooms on the left will make you super strong and provides healing powers. The one in the middle will bring the electricity back and you'll be able to see. The one on the right will make you small and invisible. You've got 5 seconds to pick the right mushroom.
Turning the lights on won't free you.
And becoming invisible doesn't mean you won't bump into walls. The best option is the strength and healing mushroom.
You can bang on the walls and bars until you break them.
The next day rolls around. You head into the parking lot to pick up your car, but the car seems to be locked. There's a three-digit PIN code lock on the passenger side door. On the side of the device, you read a clue. ABC equals 1 2 3. On the ground, there's a piece of paper that reads B A D. Use the clue to find pin code numbers. Here are your four seconds.
The code is 214.
B is the second letter, A is the first, and D is the fourth.
Now that you've got your car, time to do some shopping at the mall. You visit a jewelry shop. You discover it has a mysterious extension leading to a room filled with gold coins, diamonds, and other expensive metals. As soon as the owner spots you, he traps you in the room and locks the door. Nice shop. He tells you there's only one way to survive in that dark chamber. You must eat one muffin. If you eat the wrong one, you won't make it. But if you pick the right one, you'll be free to go. The first muffin turns you into moss. The second one turns you into a badger. The third muffin will turn you into a snake.
3 seconds.
Moss can't survive without the sun for long, and snakes need the sun to regulate their body's temperature. The correct answer is the muffin that turns you into a badger. These creatures spend long periods in the dark.
The mayor of the town calls you into his office. He politely ignores the fact that you're now a badger. He says that something mysterious is going on inside one of the town's restaurants. Everyone has turned into a zombie. Only one human is left in the bar and you must save them. But first, you have to identify them. You're shown a photo with three people. Only one of them is human.
You've got 3 seconds.
It's the lady on the right. It looks like the red spot on her shirt came from her hot dog. The lady on the left is missing part of her ear.
Now the mayor takes you to the local school. The principal needs to decide which of the students deserves to go to space camp next summer. She picked all the students that got A's on their report cards and gave each of them a bean. She said, "The person who will return with the tallest bean plant will win the prize, but you can't cheat."
All kids came back with large plant pots and bean plants filled with smaller beans. Only one girl returned with a plant pot filled with soil. As soon as the principal saw her pot, he gave her the prize. Why? Here are your 3 seconds.
The teacher gave them cold cooked beans.
They couldn't have sprouted unless the students cheated. And these guys all got A's. Huh? Makes you wonder. Before they made their wedding vows, Jenny had to say yes to a dress.
So, she went to a coutar store to check their wedding gown collection. She explained to the designer the style of the dress she wanted for her ceremony.
The designer said he had just the perfect gown for her and would bring it to her if she answered his riddle correctly. He asked, "If a gown takes an hour to dry, how many hours will it take six dresses to dry?
It'll still take 1 hour because they'll all dry at the same time. Ben had one last item to buy on his wedding shopping list, and it was what fastens two people yet touches only one. Can you figure out what it is?
It's a wedding ring. Of course, Ben headed to a jewelry store to get something blue for his bride. The store owner showed him three different wedding rings with blue gemstones. Which one should he buy?
The second ring has an engraving inside, so it must have belonged to someone else before. The gemstone on the third ring has a tiny crack in it. That can only mean it's made of glass or even plastic.
So, Ben should buy the first ring with a sapphire.
Next, Ben and Jenny were going to send out invitations. One print shop offered them three different versions of invitations. Which one should they choose?
Do you remember the name of the hotel they booked? It was Sunrise Lodge, but the first invitation says Sunset Lodge, so this one won't do. And on the third invitation, their names are printed as Benny and Jen. That's not our couple, so they should choose the second invitation.
Before the wedding, three of their friends paid them a visit. One of them brought a painting as a wedding gift, but all three claimed that they were the artist who had created it. Two of them must be lying. Can you figure out who the actual artist is?
Take a look at the signature on the painting. It says Denise. Now look at the third friend's necklace. It has the letter D. So she must be Denise, the artist who painted the painting. It was finally the day of the wedding and Ben and Jenny's guest started to arrive.
However, the hotel security spotted three suspiciousl looking people who could be uninvited. Take a look at these three guys. Can you tell which one is not supposed to be at the wedding?
Do you see the hotel wristbands that say Ben and Jenny that the second and the third guys are wearing? That can only mean they are actually invited. So, it's the first guy who's crushing the wedding. Sorry, dude. No free drinks for you. After the vows were exchanged, it was time to party. As Ben and Jenny were dancing, someone spilled their drink on Jenny's dress, but no one saw who it was. Jenny spotted three people who could have done it. Take a look at them.
Can you tell who ruined her dress?
The first guy has spots on his shirt that resemble stains from the spilled drink, but they are actually part of the pattern, so it can't be him. The third lady looks clean, but the hem of the second lady's skirt looks dirty, so it must be her who did it. After the ceremony ended, Ben and Jenny wanted to take a photo to capture the moment forever. But take a look at it. There's something strange about it. Can you spot what it is?
Can you see a woman hiding behind the trees watching them? She is wearing a witch hat, but it's a wedding ceremony and not a costume party. Creepy. When you take the hole from me, there's still some left. What am I?
Both you and your sister answer, "Wholesome." The man smiles again and lets you go.
Now you have to find the exit, and you have no idea where to go. You randomly take turns, and in the end, you get lost in the building's labyrinth. After half an hour of wandering around, you realize that you've been going around in circles. You admit that you're lost and can't find a way out. Suddenly, from each of the three directions before you, a man appears. Each man says he was kidnapped, too, but escaped and will show you the exit, while the other two men are guardians and will lead you back to your kidnappers. Who should you trust?
You notice that the second man has bruises from the handcuffs on his arms.
So you decide to believe him. You look at your sister and realize that she noticed it too. You nod and each of you walks towards one of the other two and unexpectedly for them knock them out.
The man gives you thumbs up and tells you to follow him.
You're back in the labyrinth again, taking turns over and over. Does he really know where to go? How much time did he spend here? You even start worrying if you made the right choice.
But then you bump into a massive metal door. To open it, you need to enter the password. But lucky you, there's a hint again. The note is saying 5th of March, 1st of October, 2nd of April, 4th of November. That's why the man was wandering around looking for someone. He couldn't crack the code. Can you The 5th of March means the fifth letter of the word March which is H. Similarly, the first letter of October is O. The 2nd of April is P and the 4th of November is E. The password is hope. You type it and yes, it works. Great job.
The lock clicks and you pull the heavy door open.
You did it. You are outside once more.
It's early morning, so you spent the whole night inside. But wait, can you hear it? Footsteps. They're after you, and you have to run to a safe place immediately. There are three ways. On the left, there's a dark forest.
Straight, there's a city, and on the right, a lake. Which way will you choose?
You should definitely run straight to the city where there are people around.
So, what are you waiting for? Run.
Carol was invited to a Halloween party in an abandoned house. Her friends asked if she was up for a challenge and she said yes. Soon enough, she was locked inside a room. In this room, there was one door and three light switches next to it. Behind the door, there was an empty closet with nothing but a light bulb. Her task was to figure out which switch controlled the light bulb inside the closet. She could flip the switches however she wanted, but once she opened the door, she couldn't touch the switches anymore.
Sometime later, she managed to get it right. How did Carol do it?
Okay, let's go step by step. She flipped switch number one, then waited for a few minutes. Then she flipped it back to off and immediately flipped switch number two. Then she opened the door and checked the light. It was turned off. So she realized it wasn't switch number two that controlled the light. She decided to touch the bulb to test if it was hot or cold. If the bulb was cold, it would mean that switch number three controlled it. But the bulb was hot, so that meant that switch number one controlled it.
Way to go, Carol.
To get back to the party, Carol had to solve another riddle. There were two hourglasses in front of her. One hourglass measured 7 minutes and the other measured 4 minutes. She needed to time 9 minutes using both hourglasses.
How could she do it?
First, she turned over both hourglasses at the same time. By the time the 4-minute hourglass was done, the other one still had 3 minutes left. Carol flipped the 4-minute hourglass over again. By the time the 7-minute hourglass was empty, there was 1 minute left on the other hourglass. And by the time the 4-minute hourglass emptied again, there was 1 minute's worth of sand in the bottom half of the 7-minute timer. She flipped it over again, so there was 1 minute's worth of sand in the top part of the hourglass. And when the 7-minute timer finally emptied again, 9 minutes had passed in total.
Phew, that took some work.
Someone stole a rare diamond from Mrs. Monica Fraser's house. Mrs. Fraser claimed she'd walked into her bedroom one morning and found that the glass box in her dressing room had been broken and the diamond had been gone. She called a detective who soon arrived at her place and asked some questions. Based on his inquiries, he gathered three suspects.
Mrs. Fraser's gardener, Steve, had the key to the house. Her cousin Sophia was staying with her for the week, and the cleaning lady, Adeline, cleaned the house every day. Steve said he was on holiday that week, so he wasn't anywhere near the house when it had happened.
Sophia said she didn't even know her cousin had a diamond hidden in her house. And Adeline said that she'd been cleaning the house at around 1000 p.m.
the previous night. Everything had seemed all right. Who stole the jewelry?
It was the cleaning lady. It seems that right after she broke the glass and stole the diamond, she also wiped off the pieces of glass left on the floor.
On a cold winter day, Jason woke up after a medical procedure. He was lying in bed when the doctor walked into his room, saying there were three women outside claiming to be his wife. All three of them wanted to see Jason, but only his wife was allowed to do so. Look at the women. Which one do you think is telling the truth?
The woman wearing a white shirt is the only one that has a ring on her left finger. She's the wife.
It was a lazy Sunday morning and John was having breakfast in the kitchen.
Suddenly, he heard glass shattering. He walked into the living room and saw that someone had just broken one of his windows. He was mad and decided to go outside to see if he could find the culprit.
There were only three people in the street, so he talked to each of them.
The first was one of his neighbors children. He was coming back from his football practice, holding a ball in his hands. He said he'd been going home at the time of the incident. The second person was Steven, John's neighbor and longtime friend. He was carrying a toolbox. The man said he decided to come home to fix John's window. The last person was Julio, a mailman. He was riding his bike, throwing newspapers on people's front lawns. He said it had been hours since he passed John's house.
Soon enough, John figured out who had done it. How it was the mailman. If you look at the lawn, the newspaper is lying on the grass beneath the window. He threw the newspaper towards the mailbox but missed it and it hit Jon's window. Whoops.
It was a stormy night. Kate and her boyfriend stayed up late watching a soap opera. In the middle of it, there was a weather forecast. The weather lady said it would keep raining for two more days, but in 72 hours it'd be bright and sunny. Kate turned to her boyfriend and said that the weather lady was wrong, and the girl was right. Why?
Because in 72 hours it will also be nighttime, so it can't possibly be bright and sunny.
It was Amelia's dream to go skydiving, but she was afraid of heights. One day, her friend took her to fulfill her dream. Amelia jumped from an airplane without a parachute and didn't get hurt.
How is that possible?
The plane wasn't flying. It was still on the ground. Duh.
Dave, an archaeologist, traveled to Egypt on a very special mission. He spent days excavating ruins hidden under the sand. And the only thing he found was a coin marked 10 B.CE. When he showed it to his colleagues, they told him the coin was a fake.
Why?
Well, because the designation BCE didn't appear until after the beginning of our era.
It was raining when Mrs. Moore called the police. She said someone had just bumped into her car and driven away.
When the police arrived, the only person next to the place of the incident was a man fixing his tire. Mrs. Moore said that that was the car that had bumped into hers. However, the gentleman said that it couldn't be true because he'd been busy fixing his car the whole time.
Can you tell who's lying?
It's the guy fixing his car. The rain started just recently. If he'd been fixing his car this whole time, the ground underneath it would be dry. But look, it's wet. This means he's just arrived there and is actually the one responsible for the incident.
Four friends decided to meet up for coffee one afternoon. Someone asked which one of them was the oldest, and they answered with a riddle. Mia is three times older than Anna, but 3 years ago, Anna was a year younger than Claudia is now. And Olivia is twice as old as Anna. So, can you put the girls into order by age?
The correct order is Mia, Olivia, Anna, and Claudia.
Here's a quick one. What belongs to you, but others use it more often.
Your name.
Outside a fancy palace, two sentinels were guarding the main gate. They were standing, looking in different directions, one towards the west and the other towards the east. At some point, one of the sentinels asked the other, "What are you smiling about?" How could he know that his colleague was smiling?
Well, despite the fact that they were looking in different directions, they weren't standing back to back. They were facing each other.
Kevin was away on business and had to spend the night in a hotel. After a full day of meetings, he returned to his room to get some rest. He went to bed but couldn't fall asleep. After tossing and turning in bed for hours, he called someone, didn't say a word, and then finally fell asleep.
Who did Kevin call? And how could he finally fall asleep?
He called the room next door as his neighbor was snoring very loudly. The ringing woke the neighbor up. The snoring stopped and Kevin managed to doze off. You've just come back from a long vacation. There you bought a new suitcase to store all the new things you got, but you don't remember the code.
Luckily, you left yourself a note on your cell phone to help you decipher the code to open the lock. 682.
One digit is right and in its place.
614.
One digit is right, but in the wrong place.
206.
Two digits are right, but both are in the wrong place. 768.
All digits are wrong. 380.
One digit is right, but in the wrong place. What's the three-digit code 042?
There was once a magical forest where 32 mermaids, 43 elves, 26 unicorns, and 57 fairies lived. The forest got cursed and life there got disrupted. The mermaids started living on dry land, forcing the elves to move out. The elves had to move to the territories of the unicorns. The unicorns started to lose their magic powers and needed fairy dust to sustain themselves. So fairies had to work overtime and were exhausted.
There are four spells. One will make elves disappear. The second will make mermaids move to the territories of unicorns instead of elves. The third one will heal the species, but only those with an even number of creatures. The fourth will turn unicorns into fairies.
Which one should you use?
You should use the third one. The mermaids and unicorns are the species that need to be healed and both have an even number of creatures.
Mrs. Collins has five daughters, Hannah, L, Eve, Anna, and Ava. What is special about their names?
They all have palendroic names, meaning they're the same when you read them from left to right and from right to left.
Adam was traveling around the world when he found himself in a little kingdom. He didn't have a map or the internet. He was just wandering around. Also, he couldn't read any signs because he didn't know the language. Adam walked into a beautiful castle and ran into two girls. It turned out that it was the castle of the royal family and no one was allowed in there.
>> The girls agreed not to report him, but only if he guessed which one of them was the princess. Can you help him?
Look at the wall. There's a painting of the queen and her daughter. She looks exactly like the girl on the right. I bet she's the princess.
Genevieve is a time traveler and she got to ancient Greece. The girl was so mesmerized by everything that she forgot to be careful and blend in. So, she was captured and taken to the emperor.
>> He could tell that Genevieve wasn't from his land. So, he started to interrogate her but didn't believe a single word.
Still, he was a nice person. So, he gave Genevieve a chance to escape.
>> Yes.
>> There were three young women in front of her. If she guessed which one of them was his daughter, she'd be set free. Ah, >> can you help Genevieve?
Look, this girl has the exact same necklace as the emperor. It must be his daughter.
People invented the time machine, and now there are criminals traveling in time and disrupting time flow. The time police tried to catch the imposters, and they need your help. Look at this picture. Do you see the time traveler?
It's this dude here. Look at his fancy modern haircut. Back in that era, people didn't have barber shops.
>> Yeah.
>> Moving on to the Wild West. Do you see the time traveler here?
It must be this person. the one wearing modern sneakers.
The next stop is ancient Egypt. Take a very close look and find someone who doesn't belong here.
What is this girl wearing? A tank top and shorts. No, she's not from here.
Okay, we have to catch some more. For example, here. Do you see anything suspicious?
I don't think people had cell phones back then. This is the impostor.
Okay, another stone age image for you.
Who doesn't fit in here?
This girl looks like a stone aer, but she's reading a book. There were no books back then.
>> Hello.
>> Great. There's just one last time traveler to catch, and they're in the Middle Ages. Look closely and tell me who you think it is.
This guy is wearing headphones. Yeah, that's him. Oh my god.
>> Mr. Thompson was in his house reading a newspaper when he heard some noise outside. He walked out and saw that someone had crashed into his car. He asked his neighbors what they'd been doing.
Scarlet said that she'd been at home playing video games. Charles said that he'd just come back after a walk with his dog. Tessa said that she'd been gardening behind her house. Who lied?
It must be Tessa. She doesn't have any gardening tools with her and she isn't dressed properly for gardening.
Serena was having a party in her house and she invited all her classmates. In the middle of the party, the lights went off for a couple of minutes. When the light came back on, Serena realized that her parents' expensive vase covered in diamonds had been stolen. Three people seemed suspicious to her. Tatum said, "I was in the bathroom." Quinn said, "I didn't steal anything. I didn't even know the vase was so expansive." Dean said, "When the lights went off, I fell into the pool and I was pretty busy getting out." Who lied?
Dean for sure. If he had fallen into the pool, he'd be all wet, but his clothes are completely dry.
>> In a little town, someone stole a bucket of chicken wings from a local store.
Three customers were the main suspects.
Mr. Cook was interrogated at work.
>> Hello.
>> I was in a rush and just got something for lunch. I didn't steal anything.
>> Mrs. Bailey was at home making breakfast. I only got some fresh vegetables. My family is vegan.
>> What? Dale, a college student, was in the park studying. I got my sandwich and left. I didn't know anything about the theft.
Who lied?
Mrs. Bailey. She said her family was vegan, but she has cheese and cow milk on the table. Vegans don't eat any of that.
In a parallel universe, it's only allowed to have fun and eat candy. No one studies or does anything useful. Mr. Rem came back home after shopping with her friends all day and asked her daughters what they had been doing. I was eating popcorn and binge watching a TV show, said Hannah. I was playing soccer with my friends, said L. I was at the beach with some friends, said Ava.
Who lied?
It must be Hannah. Look, she hasn't even started her popcorn. And there's also a book under her bed. Damn it.
El's soccer team played six matches in the season. They won two, drew two, and lost two. In total, they conceded two goals and scored three. What are the results of all six matches?
Every time they lost, they must have conceded at least one goal. They lost two matches and conceded two goals, which means they conceded one goal each time. The scores of these matches must be 0 to one. We're out of conceded goals. So, the scores of the two drawn matches should be 0 to zero. Now, we're only left with three goals and two winning games. So, in one game, they must have won with a score of 1 to zero and in the other with a score of 2 to 0.
Ava was out partying with her friend all week, so her room is a complete mess now. It's Friday and she's planning to go on a picnic with her best friend. She needs her bag, her sunglasses, and her cell phone. Can you help her find them?
Here they are. Great job.
It's Saturday and Ava still hasn't had time to clean. Now she's heading to her classmate's place for a pool party. She needs her swimsuit, her necklace, and her heels. Can you find them?
Yes, they're all here. Ava is getting ready and realizes that a lot of her stuff isn't in the bathroom. She remembers she lent it to L. Elle says that the stuff is in her room, which is of course also a mess. Can you help Ava find her lipstick, her haird dryer, and her hairbrush?
Here they are. Did you find them all? L is getting ready for her soccer practice. She needs her football, her sneakers, and her lunchbox. Where are they?
They're all right here.
Hannah returned home after a short walk and immediately noticed that her favorite bracelet was gone. She knew that Ava loved it and that she was getting ready for a party, so she was the main suspect. Hannah ran into Ava in the bathroom and demanded her bracelet back. I was taking a shower while you were gone and then getting dressed without leaving the bathroom. I wouldn't have had any time to take your bracelet.
>> Hannah knew that Ava lied. How?
If Ava had really taken a shower, the bathroom mirror would be missed. But look. Oh, >> it's all clear.
