Working on new labels to make it look a little bit better, more professional for for it. So, those who got Dad Bod and Beard stuff. It was like a deer in the a deer in the headlights, you know, like where they just stop and just stare. That was me. And I for a straight minute, I'm like, I don't know what I'm supposed to say. Like, I forgot everything.

Um I think it was for Vinnie's friend co-worker's son who was going through heart transplant or something like that. But Philip made this and see he goes to the Renaissance Fairs. And Vinnie bid this uh he he bid it over bid it over me.

[00:20:59]Um and now what it's June 2026 and so um I've been stuck at 280 for the past 5 months.

[00:21:07]And I just broke 270 for the first time since I can remember. When I got married I was 240. I was in shape. I was playing football, all that stuff. And uh I just broke 270. So, with that being said, I actually think after I do Hyrox, I'm going to do um the Spartan in July and Hyrox in Salt Lake in September. And I think I'm around there, I'm going to hit 250 where I can go skydiving in Moab.

[00:21:31]Cuz uh we were just talking about Miles, not saying his name. He was in Moab. And I'm like, "Dude, I think I could do it."

[00:21:37]I That's 2 years. It'll be a little over 2 years to lose 100 and something pounds, but um I think I can do it. I really do.

[00:21:46]Um I got an email earlier this week to work as a security at Metallica concert, which is dude, that's really cool. I love Metallica. Um that's a bucket list concert. I've never been able to go to their concerts, but they're never here. Um I was the bodyguard for um Carrie Underwood at the E Center, or it's now it's called the Maverick Center. I was for um Rob Zombie.

[00:22:09]Um back in my days when I was huge. Um but yeah, those they're It's fun to go to those concerts.

[00:22:15]Uh going to Durango, going to camp a few days, and over to Cañon City for a few days, and ride train to Colorado Springs. That'll be fun. That'll be fun.

[00:22:23]Yeah, I uh we're going camping for Father's Day. So, I um I told Candace Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, uh let's go camping. And then so that we can spend the days of Sunday with our families for Father's Day with our dads.

[00:24:57]Always wanted to go skydiving. And then I went actually went to see if I could and I couldn't cuz I was too big. My whole life I just I'm always too big to do what I want. If that makes sense. I can't get the right clothes because I'm too big. Um I can't get on the rides at the amusement park because I'm too big. There's always a weight limit. There's always something and I'm just like I'm so tired of it.

[00:25:18]And so to be able to go do this in a couple of months, like I'm it's just I'm about 18 lb away.

[00:25:25]Um I think I can do it. I do. I I really do and so I just uh Hopefully we can do it.

I have 238 lb of lean mass and so I'll never I mean I'd have to lose 18 lb of muscle mass plus 18 more pounds of whatever I have. And uh So it's it's uh I I I will never be able to do the 220.

[00:26:36]And so there's only a few places in America that do 250. And one's in California, one's in Moab, Utah which is luckily right by me. And so Good for you, man.

Um you can just be there if you're You don't feel like there's any issues. You just want to hang out. You can come there if you're suffering from addictions. You can go there if you're lonely. You can go there if you just want friends, stuff like that.

[00:28:35]And and all of us have gone through hard times this week. It's just It's the truth. We all have had gone through Depending on on what we're going through, there's always something hard that we're doing.

[00:28:46]And so, some of these guys that you go to I love you bro with um they don't they they need a turn the script, meaning all they see is the negative. And so I make them look at some of the positive.

[00:28:59]And as we have done that you start seeing the light in their eyes come back. Week after week they're like, I knew I had to do a winner of the week.

[00:32:09]Um but my win of the week is something that we've been working on really long. Um so back in last year a year and five minutes a five months ago ish we went to Hollywood. I don't know if you guys remember that Logan and I and we we presented an award for Promise to Live. It's it's mental health. It's just suicide prevention uh group. And so we went there and we met uh a guy named Kevin.

[00:32:40]Now Kevin, you guys know him as Iron Sanctuary. Uh he has become a very close friend of mine and he is a genuinely good person. Um so we have been working uh tirelessly on a scent profile where we are going to be making and bringing out Sanctuary beard oil, beard balm, and cologne. And this is what we're going to be bringing out.

[00:33:13]And uh it is probably one of the coolest scents that I've ever made.

[00:33:20]Like I said, we've been working on it.

[00:33:21]Um we're going to be probably coming out with three scent or a scent every 3 months.

[00:33:26]And uh it's we're making it just like Dad Bods where uh he has a little bit of the ownership of that brand of that of that product.

[00:33:35]And uh it's going to be really, really cool. So uh been working with him and talking with him today and we're going to be sometime at the end of this month uh early next month uh we are going to be uh introducing it. Uh this is the cologne that we've been testing.

[00:39:52]So um Yeah let's do this. I want to talk a little about let's let's actually talk a little bit about uh this. What are ionic elements minerals? Because some of you guys are so so um None of you guys are really that new here but I would say some of you guys aren't familiar with what ionic elements minerals are and why copper johns uses them why I use them Um, because um the reason why I did it is I used to teach teach this. I used to travel and and and teach wellness stores, wellness centers the importance of minerals. And and when I was creating a product for me and for all of us, it was primarily for me at first, obviously, is because 90% of us or more are magnesium deficient. And a lot of us what will happen is if you have anything acidic or anything and your body has to compensate for that. And so it pulls these minerals into your bloodstream so that your body can stay the same pH cuz if it goes anything below 0.01, like if it if it changes by 0.01, you're dead.

[00:41:03]And so it always has to remain a constant pH in your bloodstream so you don't die. And so what will happen is is as you eat this acidic stuff or as you eat this this very alkaline stuff, your body has to substitute something so that it can remain the same. And so that's where these minerals come. So magnesium, potassium, selenium, zinc, sodium, calcium, bromelain, like all these minerals are so vital. But what happens is usually as you see people who who uh who have done drugs or or or alcohol or things like that. I I I hate to say that, but you'll notice that their skin starts to kind of break down a little bit and they kind of look like their age.

[00:41:47]It's what will happen is some of that is because they pull all those minerals out because your organ your largest organ in your body is your skin and it's going to pull those minerals and those nutrients out of your skin in order for it to save its life, so to speak. And it happens to us all. Like I drink soda like this, that's what it does for me.

[00:42:06]It makes your body acidic and so it has to do that.

[00:42:08]Point being, point being, that's why I introduced these minerals because why would I if if all if if uh if a byproduct of uh these uh minerals is going into your skin, why wouldn't I want to add minerals to it to help your skin remineralize and help your skin look younger and safer and all that kind of stuff. Does that make sense? And so I'm going to go get into a little bit I missed it all. Oh, no.

[00:43:01]So ionic magnesium is is basically it's an anti-stress mineral, right? Magnesium helps reduce calcium buildup. So if you guys have patchiness if this isn't all patchiness, but if you have patchiness in your beard, what will happen is uh and and you use mine water or like uh well water or or uh hard water or something like that, that calcium can build up into your pores and actually limit your hair to grow. That magnesium ionic magnesium will bind with that calcium and strip it.

[00:43:30]>> [snorts] >> And then it'll actually put it into your body where it needs to go.

[00:43:33]But it'll help it'll help reduce calcium buildup and it can that will block hair follicles. It helps better circulation to the hair and skin. Also uh magnesium plays a it's a huge role in in protein synthesis as you guys know and your hair is protein.

[00:43:49]Um so uh it helps prevent graying. So like I don't know how gray I would be >> [laughter] >> but but uh I'm a little bit gray but dude, uh it prevents graying and additionally magnesium is going to reduce your inflammation. So if you're ever just really stressed or retaining a lot of water, it's going to help reduce that inflammation wherever you put it.

[00:44:09]And then also improves your skin elasticity.

[00:44:14]So it's like when you pinch it, it's going to go back very quickly compared to what it would normally without it.

[00:44:19]And then also it helps fight oxidative stress, which is a big deal. That's just magnesium. Nothing that's just magnesium.

[00:44:40]Potassium is essential for you to be able to hydrate yourself. So it's it's amazing for hydration.

[00:44:48]It helps prevent your skin from being dry at all.

[00:44:51]And again, it's going to help your skin and your hair to prevent it from being dry. Potassium is really good for hydration. Selenium. Selenium is going to make your beard so it's not so brittle. It's going to strengthen your hair. It's going to help it so it doesn't break as easy. Like you know, like sometimes you're combing and like you'll be combing your beard and it'll break off like halfway through. If it's a dry beard or something like that.

[00:45:19]Selenium Selenium makes it so that that doesn't happen.

[00:45:22]And it really really helps your scalp, the skin of your scalp. It really helps that as well. Zinc. Okay, so there's a lot of things cool about zinc but if you know zinc, let's say you cut yourself and you start seeing white stuff like on it like the scabby part of it starts to solidify and you see white, that's all zinc. So zinc is critical for regulating your oil production like your sebum oil. It helps maintain healthy skin. It prevents acne.

[00:45:51]It helps reduce hair loss and it also aids in like I said the wound healing but also inflammation as well. So zinc is freaking phenomenal.

[00:46:02]So that's one of those things that I'm like, "Yeah, of course I'm going to put this in Beardbrand oil. Of course I'm going to do this because why wouldn't you?" Cuz all all this is helping your beard and it's helping your skin.

[00:46:11]Then you have calcium and sodium. Um So, this does not have sodium, but there's um I mean calcium. Uh these minerals contribute to improve skin elasticity and antimicrobial properties that help maintain skin balance in the micro dome. So, basically calcium is going to make it so uh like like a lot of those like uh cedar like um tea tree like uh a couple of those other essential oils. I'm trying to rosemary uh are really going to make it so it's anti-fungal, antimicrobial so that uh kind of what's found in the ball wash.

[00:46:49]So, that uh you know, you don't grow any of that fungus and stuff.

[00:46:55]So, anyway, that's I'm just going to go into those oils, but I figured I would let you guys I'll talk to you about it, all that fun stuff, and see what you guys had to think. But, hopefully you learned something a little bit today on that.

And it it cooks really really really really fast.
