Black Voters: Freedom of Choice or Political Ownership? #shorts

[00:00:00]Now, one of the first things I want to do in terms of starting off with just ground rules is I want us to agree and tell me if you can agree in the chat, is it okay for black people to be Democrats or Republicans? Do black people Should black people have a freedom of choice or should black people be owned by any political party? What do y'all think? Give me a yes or no. Do you all think that black people that there's a party that should own the black vote, own black people, not have to earn the black vote, not have to do anything for black people and still get the black vote just because you're black? Tell me if you agree with that. Because if you agree with this, if you feel this way, then I want to tell you you're going to be offended. You're going to get mad because I don't believe black people should be owned. I don't believe that we should be anybody's property. I don't believe that there's anybody who owes a who gets a goddamn thing from us who hasn't earned it. That's how I feel. And again, I know this is controversial because there's so many people who believe that black people don't have a right to vote for who they want to, right? They say black people can have voting rights as long as you vote the way we tell you to vote, right? You have freedom as long as we tell you what to do. If people are telling you what to do, then that's not freedom. I hope y'all understand that. Do y'all get what I'm saying? Let me know if you get what I'm saying. If somebody's telling you what to do, that is not freedom. So, you can you got to jump out of the hypocrisy. The hypocrisy that says that black people we want black people to be free. We freedom for black people as long as you do what I tell you to do, [ __ ] That ain't freedom, man. What's wrong with you? They say Like, how the hell you going to tell me you want me to be free and and then you turn right around and tell me what to do? I'm a grown ass man. I'm a human being. I'm an American.

[00:01:42]Right? We always talk about things like sexual assault and and violating people's rights and and violating people's territory and violating boundaries. When you're violating my boundary, when you assault my right to vote, when you take something from me that belongs to me. Tell me if you agree with this. Let's let's start there.
