[00:00:20]today. The oath will of office will be administered by Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya at 11:40 a.m. marking the official continuation of the state government leadership. My colleague Nibir Deka joins us on the broadcast to give us the latest. Nibir, uh of course, the swearing-in ceremony expected today. We know for a fact that it's going to start at 11:00 a.m. Who exactly uh are we expecting to be there?

[00:00:49]Yeah, the the swearing-in ceremony will begin. The Prime Minister is already here in Guwahati along with the Union Home Minister as well as uh the senior leaders such as Ramnath Singh and also the party president of the Bharatiya Janata Party uh Nitin Naveen along with Chief Ministers of different different states including Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, um and uh all the northeastern states as well. And today we are also expecting Yogi Adityanath from Uttar Pradesh and other senior leaders to be arriving at the swearing-in ceremony of the Himanta Biswa Sarma government. This is the second time that Himanta Biswa Sarma will become the Chief Minister of Assam and third time continuously the BJP will form its government in the state. It's a big mandate given by the public, 102 seats. And the already five names have been announced who will take the swearing-in. Four cabinet ministers and one speaker. One from each of the alliance partners. So, a big mandate by the BJP given to the BJP and a big day for Himanta Biswa Sarma as he stakes claim and uh for the second time coming as the Chief Minister of the state of Assam.

[00:01:58]We're tracking more breaking news. Assam is set for a high profile swearing-in ceremony as Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma takes oath for a second term. The event in Khanapara is expected to witness a strong show of strength from the National Democratic Alliance with several top leaders in attendance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with senior ministers including Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and Nirmala Sitharaman are expected to be present. The ceremony marks a major political movement for the state leadership and the NDA alliance.

[00:02:28]So, of course we were talking about that and like I said, a big show of strength uh on a day when Himanta Biswa Sarma will be taking oath as the Chief Minister of Assam for his second time.

[00:02:50]Well, absolutely. Uh if you see that uh the names which who are coming to attend the swearing-in ceremony include the Prime Minister as well as the Union Home Minister. Along with that, the party president Nitin Naveen and Chief Ministers such as Bhajanlal Sharma already present along with the other northeastern Chief Ministers such as Manik Shah and Manik Shah and uh and uh the Prime Minister uh the Chief Minister of Manipur. Along with that, Yogi Adityanath is also expected to come and all the other Chief Ministers are going going to be present here before the swearing-in from 11:15 a.m. The swearing-in will be done in front of the Prime Minister as well as the other dignitaries and also uh the industrialists are also expected to come.

[00:03:33]Uh as per sources that uh industrialists such as from people from the Adani Group and the Ambani Group are also going to come. So, this is going to be a mixed bag of uh senior-level politicians and also industrialists which also tells you how Assam is heading towards uh in in in the in the second term of Himanta Biswa Sarma led government and also the third term of the BJP government in the continuously in the state. So, a historic mandate has been given 102 seats which has never been given to any party and this is an unprecedented mandate and as such the senior leadership has also shown confidence rallying behind Himanta Biswa Sarma and that is the reason you see the Prime Minister, the party president as well as all the senior leaders present at this very in ceremony.

[00:05:18]Well, yesterday night we were in the hotel where the dignitaries are were coming in and at the both the Radisson and the Vivanta Hotel we have seen Chief Ministers including the the Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Rajasthan Chief Minister, Chief Ministers from all the northeastern states including Manik Saha and other Chief Minister all coming in.

[00:05:39]Manik Saha has already given an exclusive interview to NewsX and all the Chief Minister, major Chief Ministers are there in the eastern belt. Today, we are warning Suvendu Adhikari from West Bengal new chief minister is going to be arriving along with him Yogi Adityanath is also expected along with that all the other 19 chief ministers are expected from the BJP or DND rule state. Along with that we have we are also expecting the the same of the industrialists from the Adani group as well as from the others industrialists group because of the advantage of some we have seen that the industrialists have already come to Assam so that relationship with Himanta Biswa Sarma is already there. Further, we are also expecting we are have the prime minister to be there and along with the the whole union home minister and defense minister as well as the party president Nitin Naveen. So the BJP has ensured that all its top guns are there in Assam today in front of Himanta Biswa Sarma's swearing in ceremony to show them show show a strength of the party in the eastern belt. If you see just before just on the May 4th, the West Bengal was also a seat won by the BJP along with that Assam. So they have made sure that they prioritize the eastern belt and as a result of that you see all the senior leaders present today and um and present in front of the people as well to show to give Himanta Biswa Sarma the necessary backing and support for his tenure for the next 5 years.
