The Odisha Government, led by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, has announced a significant increase in reservation quotas for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Scheduled Backward Class (SEBC) students in professional and technical education institutions. This revised reservation policy will be implemented from the current academic session and will apply to engineering, medical, universities, affiliated colleges, ITIs, and polytechnic institutions across the state.
