Stars are born in nebulae when gravity collapses gas clouds, forming protostars that ignite nuclear fusion at nearly 10 million degrees; they spend most of their lives in the main sequence phase, then evolve into red giants before dying as either white dwarfs (for small stars) or through supernova explosions (for massive stars), which can leave behind neutron stars or black holes.

How the Universe Creates Stars ✨#Space #Stars #Universe #BlackHole #Supernova #Astronomy #starsAñadido:
Billions of years ago, deep inside giant clouds of gas and dust, stars were born.
These glowing clouds, called nebulae, are the cosmic nurseries of the universe.
As gravity pulls the gas together, the cloud begins to collapse and heat up, forming a young glowing object called a protostar.
Slowly, the temperature rises higher and higher until something incredible happens.
At nearly 10 million degrees, nuclear fusion ignites inside the core.
Hydrogen atoms begin smashing together to create helium, releasing enormous energy.
And just like that, a star is born.
For millions or even billions of years, the star enters its main sequence phase, the longest stage of its life.
During this time, it shines brightly, producing the light and heat that can power [clears throat] entire solar systems.
But stars don't live forever.
As the hydrogen fuel starts running out, the star begins to expand into a gigantic red giant.
Its outer layers grow massive while the core becomes hotter and denser.
For small stars like our sun, the ending is calm.
They shed their outer layers into space, creating beautiful glowing planetary nebulae, while the remaining core becomes a white dwarf.
But massive stars die in a completely different way.
They explode in a gigantic supernova, one of the most powerful explosions in the universe.
After the explosion, what remains can become a neutron star, or even a terrifying black hole.
Every star in the night sky is living through this incredible cosmic journey, from birth to death, shaping the universe itself.
