The principle of 'no taxation without representation,' originating from the Magna Carta signed between King John and barons in 1215, established that governments cannot tax citizens without their consent. This principle became foundational to the American Revolution and continues to underpin democratic parliamentary systems, where elected representatives must fight to keep taxes low and hold governments accountable. The video illustrates how modern political accountability requires citizens to actively engage with their representatives, as passive voting can lead to policies that may not reflect public interests, such as government surveillance legislation or misleading claims about affordability.

Liberal MP's Get CAUGHT LYING In Social Media Post In HUMILIATING FashionAdded:
Pierre Polyv is about to explain why he fights back against taxes. I have a couple more clips, too. Two Liberal MPs just got caught lying again. What else is new, right? And I have another clip, a bonus clip, which I know will make you guys laugh. You'll be very entertained by it. So, please make sure to stay along until the end. So, Pierf says, "Why I Why do I fight for taxes? That's the job." And it has been for 800 years.
Okay, so we're going to have a look at this. Now, before we do, please don't forget to like and subscribe. Really helps grow the channel and I appreciate you guys so much for that. So, let's have a look and then we'll talk about it.
>> Paul Evv again ranting and raving in the House of Commons about excessive government taxation. Why is he always rattling on about that? Well, here's one of the reasons why. Over here is the American Bar Association's monument to the Magna Carta, the great charter. But I'm not in America. I'm in England. were in the fields of runny me. Magna Carta was an English document that was signed here between King John and the baronss hundreds of years of half a millennia before the creation of the United States. So why did these lawyers come and put this monument here? Why do they think it was so important? Because that document was the legal foundation that led ultimately to American freedom, Canadian freedom, Australian, New Zealand and other countries have taken their freedoms. And one of the most important freedoms of all that was written down in the Magna Carta was what became known as no taxation without representation. In other words, the crown can't tax what the people have not approved. And herein lies the history of what became known as the American Revolution. At the Boston Tea Party, um the people re rebelled because across the pond in London, the authorities were raising taxes without the ability of those in what became America to vote on it. That was no taxation without representation. And they said we as Englishmen and they were still Englishmen have the right to say if the government wishes to take our money.
This is the core principle of public finance that separates our parliamentary system from some other so many other places in the world and at so many times in history. For countless generations, centuries really kings, emperors, dictators have plundered the people's pockets and keen them in squalor by excessively taxing them. The only protection against that is for members of parliament, parliamentarians who speak for the common people to fight back and restrain government's otherwise insatiable appetite for what the people have earned. And as I always like to say, the House of Commons is green because it represents the common people who worked in the fields of England. The common people bring home the harvest.
They should be able to keep that harvest for themselves, their families, and their communities. Uh but uh the only way for that to happen is for me and for other members of parliament to rattle on relentlessly every day in every way about the excesses of government taxation to keep those taxes low and allow more abundance, more opportunity and more prosperity for the people in the fields who do the work to provide for themselves and their families. That is an ancient PR principle that it is worth fighting for and preserving.
>> Yeah, I mean I I agree. The problem is it seems like the people don't really mind being taxed out of their mind. I mean they keep voting for it, right? I wish they wouldn't, but uh that's kind of the situation we're in right now where it's like, hey, you know, no taxation without representation. Uh they don't ever even ask us what we're okay with. And I think a lot of us would have a problem with all the foreign aid they've been spending. But then again, I know a lot of people uh and there are a lot of people in Canada who don't really care. Oh, go ahead and send what $9 million to Vietnam for just gendered rights, whatever that is. I've never even heard of that before, but you know that they're wasting all this money. But the problem is a lot of people, at least for right now, don't seem to give a And that's what really has to change. We have to start holding our government accountable because they act like they're our bosses. But in the in in the reality, it's the other way around. We just let him off the hook, and that's what needs to change. I got this video here from Mario again going after the bill C20 uh bill C22.
Liberals were hit by community notes on X. That's interesting. Not once, but twice. First, they lied about affordability. Then, they lied about Bill C22 not being a big deal. Who would ever trust the same party that illeg illegally invoked the Emergencies Act?
then fought the courts over the ruling and shut people's bank accounts down.
Either way, it's very interesting. I'm going to enjoy seeing this and I'm sure you guys are as well. So, let's have a look. Our government got caught lying to us not once but twice in less than 48 hours. You see, they want to create a surveillance state with Bill C22. You see, the CEO of one of the biggest companies in Canada, Shopify, spoke out against it, and so did other entrepreneurs, including myself. and they tried to say that bill C-22 won't create new authorities for police and ceases. It just ensures that electronic providers have to provide the information that they need when the court asks them to. And this is what's known as a fact check on X where you have community notes and they're told that part two of Bill C22 imposes a new lawful access and technical capability obligations including metadata retention. That means they know who you called, who you talked to, where you were. The only countries that have something like this are Russia and China. Then the Liberal Party of Canada posted saying, "Rent prices are down, salaries are up. We're delivering on our plan to make life more affordable." And they got fact checked yet again. Actual rents have actually increased a total of 22% since 2021 during co actually.
>> Yeah. And by the way, just for record, I've been checking this whole rents going down stuff I keep hearing. Uh because even Ron Butler has been saying it, but in Hamilton it's still 1,600 bucks or 1,500 bucks depending if you can find a deal on a one-bedroom apartment in Hamilton.
Now, a lot of times, sure, you might say, "Well, look on this website or this website. I found some for 1300." Okay, but there's also ones for 18,900. So, the average has not really come down at all. Not at least not here in Hamilton.
maybe a little bit in Toronto and Vancouver, but I mean, let's be honest, the the market had nowhere to go but down.
Prices literally since March of this year have already gone up nearly 1%.
That's literally during his term, not even two months ago. If you can't trust on our government to tell you the truth, then what the heck can you trust them with? And this is what the Liberal Party does. It's an absolute embarrassment.
They try gaslighting you. They try telling you something that is actually not true. They operate off of press releases. All words, no action. And just just look at the way they put it, too, right? Like Bill C22, an act to keep Canadians safe. So most Canadians are going to see that and go, "Oh, the government's trying to help us." But in reality, part two would impose new lawful access and technical capability obligations, including metadata retention, which again, they want your information.
They want to know what you're doing.
They want to know who you're talking to, what you're saying. If they could, if they had a way, if there was a piece of technology where they could know what you're thinking, they would probably try to impose that as well. But thank god that technology does not exist. and hopefully it doesn't ever exist.
My god, it's just it's just absolutely crazy and most Canadians again just asleep at the wheel. Lastly, you guys are going to like this. This is uh from Carla Treadways podcast. Mark Carney has been named the inconsistent boyfriend, but I think deadbeat dad is more accurate at this point. It's very interesting. I'm not sure who this lady is, but we'll have a look and see what she says.
I think the problem in Canada too, one of the biggest ones honestly I think is the uh geography of Canada. When you have a prime minister 4,000 kilometers away that pops in for an hour or two and you can't look them in the eyes and say, "What the heck are you doing?" Whereas Danielle Smith, as you heard, she feels the heat from people when they're in proximity to her. She'll see. I've had the opportunity to be in rooms with her at town halls, take photos with her, have a little chitchat. That's never going to happen with a prime minister that's 4,000 kilometers away. No, he does. Seems like he doesn't even live here. His family doesn't. That's a whole other thing. Even in Ontario, he >> That's right. By the way, his family lives in the big bad United States.
All these elbows up Canadians. I I just don't know how people could even live in the United States. Well, just ask Mark Carney. His family's there. And along with his company or his old company, Brookkefield, which he voted to move down there, and basically all of his investments are in the United States, the evil United States that he's fighting against, right, dummies.
>> Doesn't seem much of a resident of Ontario, but let alone Alberta.
>> Yeah.
So that would be the reason like I just for I'm a very practical person I think and very rational.
>> Does it make sense to have somebody 4,000 kilometers away that pops in once in a while kind of but not with the citizen just with a couple elected officials. Does that make sense for governing? And I wonder if maybe from a practical sense it just doesn't make sense anymore and maybe that's been the a huge challenge.
>> What was his nickname? The like inconsistent boyfriend. He's kind of more like a deadbeat dad. He just keeps taking off.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. It's the It's the political I'm going for a pack of cigarettes and then he never comes back or he decides to come back, you know, when things are good, when the time is right, but he'll disappear for a decade.
>> Actually, and that's that's interesting because Danielle Smith, I I heard her say that this is uh like a a broken marriage, but I'm prepared to go through counseling. But hey, what about if it's a deadbeat dad?
>> Yeah.
>> How much of counseling is going to work on him?
>> Is he even going to be willing to to take the counseling? But, you know, it's just it's so crazy how people think that, you know, Mark Carney's this patriotic guy and he cares about us. He cares about Canada. He his family's not here. He himself has not lived here most of his life. He doesn't want to invest here. He doesn't want his company here.
Like like what is it about Mark Carney and here's what it is and I've heard this from so many people. Well, he's calm and he he's talks nice like this. It's ridiculous how well he's nice so I like him. That whole like voting along those lines has to stop.
And again, this is why not everyone should be able to vote cuz we keep getting stupid crap like that and those people get to cancel out our votes.
Like if you really don't care that much and that's your only reason, just stay home. Which by the way, unlike during CO, this would actually save lives. And let me explain.
So we all know that violent criminals get out on bail, right? Because of liberal policies, right? Why do these liberal policies exist? Because liberals keep winning elections.
So if liberals didn't win elections, you would actually have less people harmed.
Therefore, literally saving lives because criminals would be put in jail after one offense instead of getting out on bail repeating the same crimes over and over again. So, if you just stayed home, liberals, you actually would have saved lives, you dumb But of course, they don't want to do that.
Voting's my right. It's important. It's important to destroy the country, and then you're going to pretend to be a patriot.
Get out of here.
