During political transitions, new leadership must establish clear authority over existing administrative structures, including oversight of financial commitments and official documentation, to ensure proper governance and prevent potential conflicts of interest or political theater.

“Don’t Pose With Ministers,” Says Peter Magyar Mocking Hungary’s President | APTAdded:
Good evening, Hungary. I warmly and respectfully greet you all from Budapest, outside the Carmelite Palace.
With me are members of the future TISZA government, or at least some of them.
Dávid Vitézy, Minister for Transport and Investment, Balint Ruff, who will head the Prime Minister's Office, and Gábor Pósfai, the future Interior Minister. And I should really have started with Anita Orbán, who will serve as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister. György Böjte is also here with us, my former Chief of Staff and now Deputy Leader of the Parliamentary Group. We have come here to the symbol of the politics of hatred, division, and theft.
The Carmelite Palace, or as they modestly call it, the Carmelite Monastery.
We are here for several reasons. First, I received information today that, despite previous warnings and instructions, documents are still being destroyed in ministries, and caretaker ministers are continuing to make financial commitments. This creates a rather strange legal situation. The country already has a new Prime Minister, yet it is still operating with Viktor Orbán's ministers.
In this situation, the Prime Minister must, of course, be informed of any financial commitments and any important decisions that go beyond routine day-to-day administration. I have received no such information, but these reports have reached me. That is why, about an hour ago, I issued an official notice and instruction to the caretaker ministers, Gergely Gulyás and the others.
You still know them?
Perhaps you still remember their names.
I have ordered them to inform me immediately of what financial commitments have been made in each ministry since my election and inauguration as Prime Minister, and what decisions have been taken by state officials without my knowledge. They have not been given much time. I expect written reports from every minister by 10:00 p.m. tonight. We also came here to see whether such activities are taking place in this building. Although, if I understood the guards correctly, the building is now empty. A state secretary left not long ago, and we also came here to show the building from which this country was governed.
So, T Peter Magyar, Hungarian Prime Minister, Hungarian.
Tomorrow at 1:00 p.m., if I remember correctly, we will come here to the president of the republic, who will appoint the 16 ministers of the Tisa government.
We strongly requested that the president not try to take joint photographs with the ministers of the Tisa government.
I hope he respects this request. What would be the point?
We do not want to have to retouch him out of the picture after 1 week.
After the ministers receive their appointments here at 1:00 p.m., we will go down to parliament, where the ministers of the Tisa government will take their oath.
From midnight tomorrow, the Tisa government will officially be formed.
There will not only be a prime minister, but the Tisa government itself will officially come into existence.
According to our plans, we will hold a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, probably not in Budapest, but I will provide further details about that tomorrow.
