Argentina's official government policy of 'blanqueamiento' (whitening) from the mid-19th century actively promoted European immigration to dilute the country's black and indigenous populations, creating a national identity built on the false premise that Argentina is a white European nation; genetic studies consistently show that the average Argentine has mixed heritage (approximately 9% African and 31% indigenous), explaining why some fans genuinely believe they are white despite scientific evidence to the contrary.

RACIST Argentina Fans Cause CHAOS in Atlanta │ Why Argentinians Think They’re White…
Added:Racist Argentinian fans caused absolute chaos in Atlanta after the semi-finals against England. They were out there attacking random people, throwing glass bottles, tables, benches, [music] chanting racist slogans, making monkey noises. There's even a video going viral of Atlanta police putting their hands on an Argentinian fan after he used racial slurs against a black officer. But if you know anything about Argentina football fans, you know this is nothing new. This has been going on for years and no one wants to address it. And the craziest part is these people really think they're white. They're even out here making AI videos to make people on the [music] internet think they all look like blonde, blue-eyed Europeans. But let's first talk about what actually went down in Atlanta because it was genuinely mental. The FBI had already flagged this match as the highest security risk of the entire World Cup and they weren't wrong. The history between Argentina and England is toxic and that's putting it mildly. From Falklands War in 1982, Maradona's Hand of God in '86, Beckham getting sent off in '98. This was never going to be just a normal match and the tensions actually started days before the semi-finals.
Argentina's Vice President, Victoria Villarruel, was out there calling the English usurping pirates and invaders.
Then, Argentina's Foreign Minister, Pablo Kiernan, described Falkland Islanders as an [music] artificially implanted population and the fans showed up and all hell broke loose. Rival Argentina fan groups just started going for each other in downtown Atlanta.
Footage caught Argentinian supporters throwing glass bottles, benches, bins, and even tables at each other and this all happened before the match even started. And then the match actually happened. Argentina pulled off a dramatic 2-1 win with two late goals, but that's when the chaos really exploded. Argentina fans and players held a banner with the words, "The Malvinas are Argentinian." referring to the Falkland Islands. England and Argentina supporters clashed outside Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Police made multiple arrests with photos showing both England and Argentina fans in handcuffs. And it wasn't just in Atlanta, either. There were reports of clashes in New York, London, and Birmingham. So, you've got violence before the match, violence after the match, politicians stirring the pot, and players waving nationalist banners. And that was already bad enough. But then you add the racism on top, and that's where this whole thing went from football rivalry to [music] something genuinely disgusting. Let's talk about what happened to IShowSpeed. Speed was at pretty much every big game of this World Cup live streaming from the stands, and the Argentina fans have absolutely lost their minds over it. The first incident happened during Argentina's match against Cape Verde in Miami. Speed was wearing a Cape Verde shirt, and a female Argentina fan started screaming slurs at him in Spanish. She told him, "Go cry to the zoo." And she also dropped the N-word.
>> What are you saying?
>> Then it happened again during the Egypt match. Argentina pulled off a comeback, and after they scored the winner, an Argentina fan in the stands [music] started making monkey gestures directly at Speed.
>> What's wrong with that guy?
>> But it didn't stop there. During the England semi-final, Speed was back again. This [music] time wearing an England shirt, and the Argentina fans started throwing objects at him. FIFA eventually got involved and said they were launching an investigation, and they put out this PR statement talking about how these actions have no place in football and so on. But here's the thing, investigations like this never lead to anything. Maybe a few fines, a slap on the wrist, and then everyone forgets about it until the next tournament. And I'm not saying every single person in Argentina is racist, but also, we're not going to [music] sit here and pretend like it's just a tiny minority of them, either. Now, let's talk about the elephant in the room. Why do these fans act like they're white?
So, you have to understand this isn't just ignorance. [music] It's actually a national myth that goes back over a century. Here's the thing. Argentina today officially has one of the smallest black populations in the Americas, just under 1%. But, it wasn't always like that. [music] Back in 1778, around 30 to 60% of the population in Buenos Aires was black [music] or African descent.
And by 1869, that number was still over 26%. So, what happened? How [music] did a country with a huge black population suddenly become white? The answer is something called blanqueamiento. It's [music] Spanish for whitening, and it was an official government policy. In the mid-19th century, Argentine politicians and intellectuals started pushing this idea that Argentina needed to civilize itself by bringing in European immigrants. They [music] genuinely believed in this pseudo-scientific racist nonsense that white Europeans [music] were biologically superior. So, they actively encouraged European immigration to dilute the black [music] and indigenous populations, and it worked. The constitution actually had a section encouraging European immigration. And by 1905, an Argentine journalist wrote this absolutely wild line in a magazine, "An African tree is producing white flowers."
>> [music] >> That's the mentality. They saw black Argentinians as something to be erased, like they were just a phase the country was going through before it reached its true European destiny. But, this [music] isn't ancient history. In 2018, Argentine President Mauricio Macri [music] went to the World Economic Forum in Davos and said, and I'm quoting him here, "In South America, we are all descendants of Europeans." They really prefer to live in [music] this delusion than to acknowledge the existence of black and indigenous people in their own country.
>> [music] >> So, these fans in the World Cup didn't just wake up racist. They were raised in a country that has spent over 150 years teaching them that Argentina is a white European nation, and they genuinely believe that. But, here's what the science says. Genetic studies consistently show that the majority of Argentina's population has a mixed heritage, including indigenous American and African. The exact percentages vary from study to study depending on the samples and genetic markers they use, but the result is always the same.
Almost every Argentine has a mixed tricontinental genetic background. In 2008, a DNA study found that the average Argentine is about 9% African and 31% indigenous. So, scientifically, they're not white. The entire national identity is built on a lie. And until Argentina actually confronts that, what we just witnessed at the World Cup will keep happening. But, let me know what you think. Will Argentina ever face its delusions, or are they too far gone at this point? Drop your thoughts in the comments, and I'll see you in the next one.
