Day 10 Finale: Telescope Painting Complete | 900 Megapixel Scan, Stars, Fireflies & Constellations

[00:00:00]Day Ten: The telescope painting project has come to an  end. Stars, flowers, fireflies, all are finally complete. Tonight I’m in the process of capturing  the large digital image – over 900 gigapixels of data that will be used to create accurate prints.  I am happy with the results. I love way the sky interacts with the trees, the garden flowers, the  brass telescope that matches the reference, and the glow of the lantern. The hidden elements like  the display of the constellations for this exact date, time, place and direction were unexpected  gems that were unearthed in the past 10 sessions.

[00:00:38]I have been painting so much – every single day  without missing a session. I could keep going, but the motivation to start my next  piece now outweighs the desire to continue pushing forward on this one.
