The video sharply illustrates how new data can instantly flip our cosmic narrative from infinite growth to an ultimate collapse. It’s a humbling reminder that our most fundamental scientific "certainties" are always subject to revision.

The Universe Might Stop Expanding…本站添加:
Look at this. Every single point you're seeing isn't just a star. It's an entire galaxy. And inside each one are hundreds of billions of stars, planets, black holes, and maybe even worlds we'll never discover.
Not long ago, scientists released the most detailed 3D map of the universe ever made. Over 5 years, more than 900 researchers from around the globe worked to gather this data. Using a telescope in Arizona fitted with 5,000 robotic eyes, they scanned tens of thousands of galaxies every night, capturing light that has been traveling for billions of years, just to reach us. In total, they mapped 47 million galaxies, six times more than all previous surveys combined.
And what they saw is incredible.
Galaxies aren't randomly spread out.
They form a massive cosmic web with filaments, clusters, and vast empty voids between them.
Somewhere inside this endless structure is our galaxy. One star and one tiny planet where we're trying to figure it all out. But here's the real reason scientists built this map. Dark energy.
It makes up about 70% of the universe and is responsible for its expansion.
Yet, we still don't know what it actually is. And now there are hints that dark energy might be weakening. If that turns out to be true, the expansion of the universe could eventually stop and reverse, leading to something called the big crunch.
