The Voting Rights Act of 1965 was a landmark federal law that protected voting access and fair representation for minority communities, particularly Black Americans. When the Supreme Court weakened protections under this act, it made it easier for states to implement discriminatory voting practices like gerrymandering, which dilutes minority voting power. This affects not only Black voters but also Latino, Asian-American, and Native communities. The speaker emphasizes that voting is crucial because minority votes have historically been powerful enough to influence elections, and those who claim 'my vote doesn't count' are often the ones whose votes are most targeted for suppression.

Native American Man RAISED Alarm As B๐ค Pe0ple Are Being Abandoned By Others To FIGHT For Them & ๐๐พ๐๐พAdded:
Hi, sweeties. How are you doing? Welcome to my channel. Hope you are great.
Disclaimer, this video reflects my personal opinions and commentary. This is not intended to harass, harm, or defend any individual. Content is for discussions and educational purposes.
So, I came across this video of um Native American man asking why is it that it is only black people that he is seeing speak on the voting right that has been tampered with.
And uh I noticed that, too.
Why is it that it's only black people?
I do not see them.
Especially other people speaking on it.
And in the end, you are still going to be a bad person as a black person. Now, I want you all to know, for those that do not know, that anything that affects black people automatically affects you.
Black people are your head.
And you cannot take this away. For those that do not think it is none of their business, or maybe I don't have to worry, you have every you have to worry because this is very serious. And for those that will say my vote doesn't count, I want you to know that your vote counts. If your vote does not count, why is it that they are working so hard to make sure that you do not you do not vote, or your vote doesn't count. Your vote absolutely counts.
That's why they do not want you to come out, even.
If your vote doesn't count, why are they trying to stop you, also, from voting?
Let's get into this Why does it feel like only black people are consistently talking about what's happening with the Voting Rights Act? The Supreme Court of the United States just weakened protections under the Voting Rights Act of 1965. And I don't think enough people understand how serious that is. This law was one of the major safeguards protecting fair representation and voting access in this country. And now the standard to challenge discrimination is harder because once protections are weakened, it becomes easier for maps to be drawn in ways that dilute communities. It becomes harder to challenge systems that create unequal access. It becomes easier for people in power to shape the rules in their favor.
And this doesn't stop in one community.
Obviously, this affects black voters, but it also affects Latino voters. This affects Asian-American communities. This affects Native communities. This affects anyone whose representation depends on protections being enforced fairly.
That's why I keep looking around wondering why more people aren't sounding the alarm. And to be fair, I've seen some non-black creators using their platforms to talk about this. But overall, the silence is noticeable. This is not niche political news. This is structural. This is about who gets represented, whose voices count, and how difficult it becomes to challenge unfair systems once protections are stripped away piece by piece. People only notice these things once the consequences become obvious. By then, the damage is already done. That's why more people need to be talking about this. And that's the read. If you like your tea hot, share it, save your seat, and follow for more. This is the Notorious JTB, notoriously opinionated, signing out.
Do y'all know that until the Trump administration came along, nothing in federal government has moved backwards this quickly for black Americans in over 100 years? We barely just got free. He's trying to undo everything that black Americans has accomplished. Even removing black history artifacts from museums, calling it improper ideology.
The Fair Housing Act is not being enforced. Black unemployment is at the highest in all racial groups, but under Joe Biden it was a record low. His first day in office, he got rid of DEI, affirmative action. Nearly immediately after getting into office, he got rid of high-level black officials in Congress.
With no real or reason other than that they were black. And this ain't being some conspiracy theories, this is factual information. Not to mention ending the Voting Rights Act. They don't even want you [ย __ย ] to vote. So, for y'all to be out here defending these dumbass rappers, matter of fact, I'm starting not to even like rappers. Cuz they out here seem to be moving with the least bit of sense, but seem to have the most influence on the black community.
People like Sexy Red, this big Donald Trump supporter, and y'all keep featuring her on y'all album. Now, I'm side-eyeing you. So, for all you black people who be out here defending Donald Trump like you ain't got a lick of sense. That man don't take a picture with you, but he don't want you in a place of power unless you're going to be a black Donald Trump puppet. And he'll look at you as being nothing more than a black n- Everyone needs to be clear that MAGA is working hard to unravel our democracy and to disenfranchise black people.
Today, they took a big step in taking things back to the Jim Crow era.
Today, the Tennessee legislator voted to further gerrymander its nine congressional districts to eliminate the one with a majority of black voters.
Tennessee is 17% black, nearly 1/5 of the population.
But that 1/5 now has no representation and no voice in Congress.
The US was founded on the concept of equal representation, except for us, black people.
We were originally deemed only 3/5 of a person under the Constitution.
Well, for voting purposes in Tennessee, that has dropped to zero.
And the blatant nature of this being done on racial lines could not be more clear.
MAGA wants to erase us, erase our voice, and erase our vote.
They should be ashamed of themselves if they could logically feel shame.
We need to keep our eyes open, unify, and activate. Because what is starting in Tennessee will continue to spread and infect our democracy as a whole.
And once that is gone, there will be no getting it back.
It is not lost on me how many of these white creators and quote unquote political commentators are not speaking on the Voting Rights Act, and just how little they have spoken on it if they even have.
And that that that is not lost on me, and I hope that it is not lost on any of the black people who see this video, because those people do not give a [ย __ย ] about you or your vote. I want us to keep that in mind. The people who get on here and talk every day about rights and Trump and all these other things, they do not give a [ย __ย ] about black voters or black people or any other negative outcomes that we experience because of any type of racial discrimination in any part of our lives. They use black people for talking points. That is just what the [ย __ย ] it is. Because if you are not taking the time to discuss this matter specifically in it of itself, and discuss the ins and out, and inform people about what the losing the Voting Rights Act, Section 2, um essentially means then you are wasting everybody's [ย __ย ] time, quite frankly. The excessive restrictions that have now been placed on this act dramatically impact the black community, and it can impact plenty of other racial groups as well. And to not be informing people about this is showcasing such a lack of concern.
I I I don't know I I guess, you know, not everybody gives a [ย __ย ] about black people, and even there's even some black people as well who are in this realm that don't care about other black people, either. But, for me, it is something I haven't been able to to stop thinking about for like the past week because it is so [ย __ย ] important. Had to have living grandparents and uncles and aunts who were adults at the time when they were not able to vote, and then got the right to vote, and saw the changes and the differences in in being able to vote, and to have that act be beat to the ground again, and see how this is impacting them and all these other things, it's just so crazy um for people to not care about this as if it's something that is just like we're so far far removed from, and our society has just moved past, and that there's not that same need of urgency that um that there was 60 years ago when the act was put in place.
But, this is why I don't care what white people say about anything. This is why I don't care what they say in regards to black people, in regards to racism, in regards to politics, in regards to anything that has to do with anything.
This is why I don't care about what they have to say because they do not care about what we have to do. They don't care about what we have to fight with.
They don't care about anything to do with us in the grand scheme of things.
So, why should I care about what the [ย __ย ] they have to say?
Like, what's the point?
Do my my overarching point here is uh to one complain, um two just to tell y'all that do not like do not be swindled and swayed by these people who do not ultimately care about black people.
Um you see what they care about cuz they talk about it every [ย __ย ] day and they make it their backgrounds and their prompts. You see what they care about.
What they do not care about is black people. Cuz if they did, things would look a lot different right now. The political realm would look a lot different currently. Um since since that ruling, things would be very different and they're not. So, keep BB, how many times have you heard somebody say, "My vote don't count. My vote don't count. Man, I don't vote because your vote don't really count. It doesn't matter, right?" Like, I've heard that ignorant [ย __ย ] so many times. Like, my vote don't count. Well, BB, wake up.
Wake up. You've been hearing it all If you're If you're anywhere on social media and if you're looking at this video, you've strolling. Listen. Your vote count is so much and they were so intimidated by your vote. Minorities, okay? Let's say no to the WIC. Minority, okay? If you're a minority, your vote count is so much and impacted the elections and your your local elections and all that so much so they went to courts.
They went to court and actually diluted your vote.
Yeah, they added water to your vote.
They diluted it. They made it weak, okay? Because it was so powerful. When you were saying it didn't count, "I don't vote, BB. I don't to there and worry about it. I ain't doing all of it.
All right? But you will get up and go to a second line, baby. You going to get that outfit together for a parade, honey. Baby, you going to get out there and you going to come together. Y'all going to do what y'all do on those things. Y'all going to get up the family up, get buses together to go to the casino, but you can't get together and go vote. Huh?
Baby, I'm at it because one thing about it, you said your vote didn't count.
When you said it, it counted so much and it was so strong when you was saying it wasn't. They had played you to think it wasn't counting. When it was counting so much to the point they went to court, baby, and diluted it.
Now, your vote is weak.
But, you should still vote. And the reason you should still vote because you can't let them play with you like that.
You can't let them play with you like that. Like I really don't have nothing to say about it because it's already done. The The majority did not show up to stop this, so it's already done. So, what I have to say about this is moving forward, don't let that silly [ย __ย ] come out your mouth no more, bro. This should show you right there.
It It's like somebody playing with you.
And you have to show them.
Like you have to pop out and show them.
Cuz like y'all trying to play with me.
My vote was so powerful that y'all had to go to the Supreme Court to weaken it.
Get your behind out there and vote. Get your party buses together. Y'all get y'all Y'all family together like y'all going to a second line Super Sunday, baby, parade. Get them together. Put on outfits if you have to and go and vote.
Get yourself ready to vote for this election coming up. It is that serious.
Your vote is so serious that they When they cracking and packing didn't work, they said, "Let's just dilute it. Let's just Let's just Let's just make they vote that just make it weak.
Cuz these so they coming out. They showing out.
So believe please I don't want to ever hear that again that your vote don't count. You and some of they them you got them so nervous. So they in the court talking about we don't even want they vote.
Keep voting. Votes.
Voting drove voting If you never voted before it's time to vote now because baby your baby babies and children children and the and the next generation will be affected if you just say my vote don't count. If you let this ride it it it it will be it it will be it will be sorry.
It will be sorry.
You guys be Democrats are mad because Mama wasn't elected as president. No, Democrats are mad because people are going to die.
People are going to starve to death because we're not going to be going to be able to afford gas. Democrats are mad because we have had zero [ย __ย ] job growth. I need for you people to start thinking of the country as a whole and not as a matter of teams. No one gives a [ย __ย ] that your team won. No one gives a [ย __ย ] that your team won.
What they give a [ย __ย ] about is whether or not other people are left out to dry.
Why are you comfortable with that? Why Is that the only thing you have to offer?
Is that the only achievement that Republicans have?
That you won the presidential election?
Really?
Really? Is that it?
Not job growth.
Not not unemployment.
Not even a [ย __ย ] pandemic.
You guys have no other accomplishments other than the fact that you won the presidential election. [ย __ย ] everything else up. Destroyed every other amenity.
Destroyed every other progressive policy, but you won the election so that means it's a good thing. Bro, this is not the Eagles, bro. This is not a [ย __ย ] sports team.
You guys have not done anything significant in the past year. You haven't done anything significant in the past 50 years. Don't cry? You're not? I think you know that you have nothing that is defensible about this administration. I think you know that this administration is not defensible by any means.
What I got from this video, one thing I want you to know is that some people do not care at this point in time.
They don't care what happens to black people.
Majority of them especially women were the ones that actually helped their husband to make sure that they gather enough votes for this administration. Yeah.
Now, let me tell us this. I don't know why like the other man said, why other people of why people of color not black why people of color are not speaking Latin like the why they are not talking about this Voting Right Act.
Because some people actually think, you know, when some certain things happen that it's only black people that it will affect. Some of you or looks like you guys are a little bit ignorant about your own politics. Like, how can you be that ignorant about your own history? Now, let for those that do not know, let me tell you something. Anything that affects eyes somehow might affect the nose.
Some of them are like, "Oh, it's happening to black You are also affected because eventually it will affect you."
And for those that are saying, "Our votes doesn't" your vote count. If your vote doesn't count, why are they trying everything possible to make sure that your vote does not count?
How much do I have to tell you this?
How well do you want me to say this?
Your vote counts so much that is one of the reasons why they do not want you to know accounts.
And make sure See, I don't know how to say this, but you all all better be off and doing.
Because they are doing this. They are coming for every damn person.
A very big shout out to my people.
I love the fact that you have since centuries till this very day, you have refused to keep quiet over the operation, over all the things, systemic racism that has been happening. And this is one of the reasons why they keep Some people will eventually still ask you, "Why is it that it's it is only black people that we get to hear when something happens to them or what is going on with them?" Because they never for real they kept quiet about their history or what they are going through. Their operation is something they do not joke with. They speak on it on daily basis. I will drop the call in here. Bye for now.
