Pinealon The Brain Peptide

The same Russian research team that gave us epithalamin the immortality peptide developed a companion peptide specifically targeting the aging brain.

Pylon is a synthetic tripeptide, just three amino acids, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, and arginine. Scientists call it EDR for short, the first letter of each amino acid.

Its name references the pineal gland because early research suggested pinealon influences the CNS through similar neuroendocrine pathways and three amino acids. That's it. And what they do inside aging brain tissue is where this gets genuinely remarkable. Pinealon's primary proposed mechanism is neuroprotection through two pathways.
First, oxidative stress reduction. Your brain generates enormous amounts of reactive oxygen species or cellular exhaust. Research in rat models showed pinealon significantly reduced ROS accumulation and decreased the rate of cell death.
More neurons surviving. Second, and this is what makes researchers interested, pinealon appears to modulate caspase-3.
Caspase-3 is the enzyme that executes programmed cell death, apoptosis. It's the molecular signal that tells the cell to self-destruct. In aging brains, this activity increases. Pinealon appears to suppress that signal, >> [music] >> fewer neurons getting the die instruction.
This same suppression was observed in cardiac tissue models, suggesting the mechanism isn't limited to the brain alone.
Key mechanisms, ROS reduction, caspase-3 modulation, and even dendrite growth stimulation in human neurons.

There's also a telomere connection.
Pinealon appears to influence irisin, a peptide linked to telomere maintenance and cellular resilience. Now, the honest picture, pinealon's research base is primarily from Khavinson's Russian group and largely in animal models. The human cell line research is early stage.
Large-scale Western human clinical trials don't exist yet. But the Western community validated epithalon in 2025.
Pinealon may be next, following the same 40-year research track record.
