Because if you're experiencing autistic burnout and don't know it exists, you can't be expected to recognize it when it happens to you. And if you can't recognize it, you can't get better from it. And also, I will be telling you a bit of my own experience because for a long time I genuinely didn't know that what I was experiencing was autistic burnout. I just thought something was wrong with me, which spoiler alert, nothing was wrong with me.
