[00:00:06]So, today we're going to talk about millions thrown off food stamps while Trump's war on affordability rages on.

[00:00:15]Let's start with the key fact that's driving this. From January 2025 to January 2026, more than 4.3 million people lost food assistance in the United States.

[00:00:28]According to preliminary government data, SNAP participation has dropped by more than 10% in some states.

[00:00:37]So, right now, political parties are trying to frame this drastic decline in American food security, and it's prompting questions about what's really happening and who is to blame.

[00:00:50]Democrats are saying it's Trump's one big beautiful bill. Republicans are saying it's a combination of fraud reduction and how great the economy is doing. I'm not joking. That's the line.

[00:01:05]Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins said, quote. As of just a couple of days ago, we now have moved 4.3 million Americans off of the food stamp program.

[00:01:17]A lot of that is fraud. A lot of it is people taking the program that shouldn't have been. And a lot of it is just a better economy. We've had wage growth that has outpaced inflation for the first time since early 2021.

[00:01:33]This is a really big day. So, people don't need food stamps.

[00:01:39]Yes, I'm sure with soaring gas prices and elevated inflation, the people who qualified for SNAP are just singing the praises of this economy and how much easier it is for them. It's important to remember that when economic strains occur and prices go up, those people who were treading water are now below water.

[00:02:04]This economy absolutely did not help those on the bottom. The people on SNAP are not benefiting from this economy because the people on SNAP are not billionaires.

[00:02:16]As far as fraud, we aren't really seeing any evidence of that.

[00:02:22]Okay. So, what about the Democratic Party's claim?

[00:02:27]Quote, "As part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act signed into law in July, federal funding for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, SNAP, was cut by 187 billion through 2034.

[00:02:43]It's estimated that about 4 million people will see their food assistance cut or substantially reduced."

[00:02:52]Oh, wait. That's not the Democratic Party. That's a quote from an analysis by Harvard School of Medicine published on August 21st, 2025.

[00:03:04]The Republican Party pretending like this is anything other than their faulty legislation is a bit silly.

[00:03:12]Every single projection and estimate showed the same thing.

[00:03:16]Millions of workingclass Americans would be hurt so rich people could get tax cuts and the middle class could be turned into the lower class.

[00:03:26]Harvard said about 4 million in 2025.

[00:03:32]Here we are in 2026 and 4.3 million lost their food security.

[00:03:38]It turns out the establishment billionaire and the party that obeys him doesn't care about the working class.

[00:03:45]You shouldn't need an analysis from Harvard to see that coming.
